Super hôtel qui a une vue sur la plage, qui est également très facilement accessible. Le petit déjeuné est très bon et la chambre est confortable. J’y retournerais avec grand plaisir !

The property is located on the beach. There are tables, hammocks, lounge chairs right outside of your room. The trees on the property also provide the nice shade.

Definitely a gem in Santa Teresa! Right on the beach and directly in front of good surfing! The place is well kept and the surroundings are beautiful. Nature all around. Another big highlight is the staff, from the front desk to rest of the staff are all kind and very helpful. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back.

This hotel consists of 3 seperate houses. One directly at the beach and 2 behind that. Our room hat a kitchennette. Clean. Good bed. Breakfast ok. But good restaurant 'next door'. Nice beach. Ocean kinda rough. Prolly good for surfers. Didnt appreciate the welcome email with all the rules and sanctions not obeying them...

This is well located, just off the beach, and a little away from the thoroughfare of Santa Teresa's lively main road, but you can still walk to plenty of bars and restaurants in the evening. It has a chilled out atmosphere, no fuss.

The staff was wonderful. Natalie was very helpful and amicable. Her pleasing demeanor made me feel welcomed. Loved the proximity to the beach. Laying on a hammock, reading a book with the ocean in front of you is a very pleasing way to relax and declutter your life. Casa Cecilia definitely allowed me to do this. Although the room was basic, it had all you need to be comfortable.

Great beach location. Nice staff. Good breakfast included. Our room was dark - would help to have more lights. The owners communicate via What's App; we didn't have the app on our phones so we could not get messages from them or to them.

Hello Jordan. Thank you for your feedback as it help us to improve. We use WhatsApp as an extra service so you don't need to walk to the reception. We have the reception open from 8 am to 5 pm that you can go to in case you need assistance so if you don't have WhatsApp anyway you can contact us.

First I arrived at 1:30 pm but the front door was closed so I had to shout for someone to open. The room I’ve got was very small and basic. There was a bug on the floor although it was finished 5 min before The access to the beach is amazing

If you read before, check in is a 3:00 pm, not before. Anyways we make a early check in, and yes bugs, ants, crabs, are pretty normal in the jungle specially beach front. Real pictures and sizes are also in the page. Pura Vida!

Beautiful
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Cecilia. It was calm and quiet, well maintained with friendly staff and located right on the beach. The view from our room was breathtaking and I would definitely come back. We loved the coffee and breakfast each morning and the ease of just walking down to the water. We really loved that it was away from the main drag as the beach was so much quieter where we were. A bit of a bumpy road on the way down but it's worth it when you get there! Highly recommended.

What an amazing place! We loved our stay at Casa Cecilia! You can’t ask for a better place to stay in Santa Teresa. It is right on the beach. Waking up every morning and opening your door to the ocean is so relaxing and wonderful. The manager, Natalia was so amazing. She is so responsive and accommodating. She was so quick to answer any question and was so helpful with coordinating tours and such. The rooms and bathrooms are a little dated, but it’s a beach life type stay. It isn’t supposed to be fancy. It is budget friendly and right on the beach. Wonderful outdoor areas and hammocks set up so you can watch the waves. We loved every second of it! The bar next door was also awesome and so convenient to just walk next door on the beach for a drink or food on the beach. We will definitely stay again if we come back to ST.

Simple hotel in an amazing beachfront location. Very basic amenities in rooms, wonderful breakfast and very small but friendly staff that are quick to accommodate your requests. Perfect for beach lovers and surfers!

Great beachfront stay
Casa Cecilia being right on the beach was a game changer! We had a very pleasant stay. The swing/hammocks/chairs were a fantastic spot to grab a drink or just read a book. Breakfast was a little basic but appreciated the ease of just walking out onto the beach and being served!

Charming casa cecilia
Truly amazing location at the quieter end of one of the prettiest beaches in Costa Rica! The breakfast choices were really great, eggs any way you wanted or pancakes or yogurt with granola, excellent fruit each day and delicious toasted bread and jelly. Our room was basic but met all of our needs and was very clean with a good AC. The grounds, with the great beachside hammocks and chairs were top notch. There were delicious restaurants nearby and we felt very safe going anywhere in Santa Teresa. The shower could have been a bit warmer but this was a minor thing and the only negative. Great surfing, sunsets and tide pools!

Casa Cecilia’s is the best
We loved Casa Cecilia. Everyone there was amazing. It’s right on the beach in front of surf. So waking up checking the surf , eating breakfast and being at the beach all day was a dream. There’s an amazing restaurant right next door called Rocamar that we pretty much ate lunch there everyday. Fish tacos best deal on the lunch menus. Amazing smoothies , people and coffee. We are planning are next Costa Rica trip already and guaranteed we will stay at Casa Cecilia’s again and forever. It’s just outside of the kinda busy Santa Teresa but close enough to walk and get all of the excitement. We loved nami , Chile viola , burger Rancho , and countless other amazing restaurants.

This was a great spot on the beach down the quieter end of Santa Teresa, but was still very crowded during Christmas break. Beautiful view, a good amount of lounge chairs and hammocks on the beach in the shade, and surf right out front. My only complaint was that there is a campground next door, and the campers often came over and used the lounge chairs and tables to sit in the shade and use their wifi, sometimes taking up some of the best spots while smoking and drinking. The hotel seemed to allow this.

Dear, Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Next door to Casa Cecilia is a private property owned by a Costa Rican family that has used it to camp during Christmas Week and Easter Week every year for the past 3 decades. They are mostly working professionals from the Central Valley. The beachfront of the Hotel is the same as all beach front in Costa Rica and is public. Anyone can use it. There are no private beaches here. We hope you return to our country for a visit! If you choose to do so during Christmas or Easter Week expect to share the beach with Costa Rican’s that love their Imperial and WiFi! The other 50 weeks of the year are much quieter. My man and I recently stayed at Casa Cecilia for a week. The experience was perfection. The grounds are on the beach, you can’t get any closer, and a beautiful surrounding landscape. The staff are all exceptional, warm and welcoming. Rodrigo made us the best omelettes each morning and the housekeeper maintained clean and comfortable rooms. We were delighted to be shown by the staff that wales were breaching directly in front of the hotel.There were monkeys sleeping in the natural surrounding area as well. Staff brought in a massage therapist who was perfect for sports therapy and also relaxing, he also provided us with a lot of information on activities and food in the area. The dinning room is open air and lovely, it was a delight to meet other vacationers in the morning as we ate breakfast, watching the surf. There is plenty of shade directly on the beach with many hammocks and lawn chairs available to kick back and relax. The staff made recommendations that helped us get back to SJO for our return home. We were sad to leave but looking forward to our return to this magical location.
