Wayne, thank you for staying with us and letting me know about the light bulbs. We will send maintenance out right away to replace those. I will also have them take a look at the shower as I know those controls can be a little confusing.

Wonderful place for our family gathering
Great house and great location. We had 21 of us gather groom various states to enjoy the Cincinnati area. Reds game, zoo, riverboat, etc. Along with family meals and playing games. The house was great and the location perfect. Communication with property manager count have been better! Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time. Venue was very nice for 7 couples. Had a minor AC issue which Brent addressed. Overall communication was excellent- did not have to go through a management answering system. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

Family Vacation
Our extended family likes to vacation together every 3 years and this beautiful home fit the bill for our 7 adults and 8 children. Plenty of room to spread out and large living and dining rooms when we wanted to come together for games or meals. Close to all the family- friendly attractions in and around Cincinnati. Loved it!
This was such a neat property. Had plenty of room for our group. The place was neat as a pin and had lots of charm. Our group consisted of several elderly people and the stairs weren't too bad. Beds were comfortable. Showers were clean and had good pressure. Overall we lived it. PS: Weather was perfect and we really enjoyed the front porch.

Cool Older Neighborhood House
The house was beautiful and well appointed for a large group. We had a great brothers and sisters get away there. Brent is a excellent, responsive host. The parking was as described, the older neighborhood is really lovely and we found nice restaurants close too. Getting into downtown Cincinnati is easy and short. A Kroger is extremely close too. It was fun to sit on the porch and in the living room to visit. The only thing that could have been improved was the quality of the beds which are a little older. Even so we'd stay there again because the overall property was so nice, convenient and good for a group.

Family Creation Museum/Ark encounter trip
We love the beautiful Queen Anne home! Plenty of room for all 16 of us who go to go. Comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen. The Hot tub was a big hit every evening after all the walking at the parks. Convenient to Interstate and all places we visited. The owner was just a call or e-mail away before and during stay. The street we were on was beautiful and I enjoyed the porch swing or rockers on front porch and watching people walking their dogs and babies on the side walk. A bit of stepping back in time. I would recommend staying here with a large group if you need to be in the area.

Great Option for a work project
We traveled to Cincy with group of 6 for a large project installation. This house was a perfect home base for us. It would be cramped at 26 people, but for 6 (or even 8 or 9), it had plenty of space. The outdoor space and hot tub were wonderful, and a nicely appointed kitchen was enjoyed as well. My only complaint was that the TV setup is very complicated, and took quite a while to figure out. Some better instructions would be appreciated.

Wonderful stay!
The house was absolutely beautiful and was a perfect fit for our large family. Lots of room and a fun yard to hide Easter eggs. Kitchen was well stocked and we loved the dining room space so the entire family could eat together. Bunk room was so roomy and the master suite was awesome. The owners were easily available and responsive to any questions.

Fun in a huge house!
Our family of 8 had plenty of room to spread out in this fun house! The neighborhood is gorgeous - made up of similar era homes. I wish there were more exterior photos of the neighborhood so people could see how beautiful it is. Well-stocked kitchen, and just enough towels for us (meaning a hot tub towel and shower towel for everyone). You might run low if you have 15-20 people there. The hot tub / outdoor rec area was a blast. The yard is large and fenced, so it worked well for our kids. This is a great home for a large group and I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. There are lots of stairs, so kids under 2 need to be watched. But, there are two main-floor bedrooms, which is great for flexibility of guests. The only "cons" to me were a couple outlets that weren't secure, and the fact that renters were required to strip all the used bedding, empty all trash, and wash and put away all dishes. I don't mind loading/running the dishwasher, doing a load of towels, etc., but the list seemed a bit excessive when paying a cleaning fee. Still, I would rent again, and recommend the home to others. It is beautiful, clean, and well-cared for.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful piece of history. Rooms are nice and large, original architectural details everywhere. 22 people including babies and we had PLENTY of room. Back patio and hot tub were a great success also.

Nice Old House
A very nice old Victorian house in a pleasant neighborhood. Rooms are big, high ceilings, and thankfully enough bathrooms for a big group (we had 21 people!). Kitchen is good and modern, well stocked with utensils. Only 2 miles from the Ohio river, so we enjoyed a walk through the historic district downtown Covington.

This home was absolutely beautiful and accommodated our family get-together just perfectly. The gathering areas were large enough that everyone could be together in those spaces. Excellent location, clean, and accommodating for all age groups. So great to have an outdoor area, access to local businesses, restaurants, and stores. Easy access to the highway for traveling. Fun in Kentucky
The house was big, we enjoyed it, grand kids had a ball, especially the hot tub. My room was on the first floor next to the kitchen. The bathroom was close and very clean. After that I not sure who slept where, my daughters handle that. I was worried about on street parking but there were 2 spaces right in font of the house so it was not a problem

There was a leak on the second floor bunk be bedroom, varmints funding the bulkhead on second floor every night, air conditioner wasn't working properly, many of the walls had plaster broken thru, a lot of Cobb webs, windows not completely closing, the pocket doors were disgusting, (very dirty with black dirt, house very musty, and seen a mouse in the kitchen.

From night one this group started with the complaints and the request for “adjustments.” Their experience clearly doesn’t reflect the experience of the majority of the guest before them. Some guests are just better suited for a hotel.

Perfect for Our Large Family Trip
Beautiful historic home in a great neighborhood, a short hop to Cincinnati and all thing Newport. The house was fully equipped with plenty of towels, sheets, etc. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with all the dishes and small appliances we needed. It is not stocked with toiletries such as body wash, shampoo, etc. so make sure to pack those. (Out of 12 of us, no one remembered to bring soap/body wash!) There were plenty of paper products which other reviews mentioned were in short supply-we did not find that to be the case. The living room was very comfortable and easily accommodated all of us. The wifi worked perfectly in all areas of the house. The front porch was the ideal place for morning coffee and evening relaxing. The owners were very responsive when we contacted them. We encountered a power outage due to a storm. They contacted the power company to get us information about estimated time for the service to be restored. We did have to go out to get flashlights and battery lanterns to get through the night. The owners offered to bring a generator to us, but we didn't feel that was necessary, so we declined their offer. We visited the Newport aquarium, a Red's game, BB Riverboat cruises and King's Island - all were easy to get to with a short drive or Uber. This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary with our children and grandchildren.

Beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, especially for 11 ladies (16 beds & 5 baths!) traveling for the week to see the Ark and Creation Museum. We enjoyed great food at local restaurants and also the Butterflies at the Krohn Conservatory. Our scheduled Tiki Pontoon Boat Ride had to be cancelled due to thunderstorms that day but we still loved our Road Trip to Kentucky and Cincinnati!

The Wedding Weekend
We were beyond pleased with the home. It was the perfect setting for our out of town family members to stay for our daughter's wedding. The space provided for ample room for ourselves, family members, and guests to gather. The porch is amazing to sit out on as the thunderstorms roll into the area. The owners were prompt and friendly to any questions or issues we had.

We had a delightful time! The house is perfect for us to celebrate Christmas together as a family. Very easy check in check out process. Just as advertised. Make sure to bring extra paper products like TP and paper towels as well as dish soap and dishwasher soap.

Charming Historic Home
A charming property with all you would expect from a historic home, including creaky wood floors and stairs, a large cast iron soaking tub in one of the third floor bathrooms and artistic stained glass . The neighborhood was very safe. I walked every morning and it was lovely - historic homes in every direction. A short walk to the east gave access to the berm along the Licking River which was a unique walkway. I would recommend you eat at Agave & Rye about 2 miles north of the house on Madison and 7th. Huge tacos - they call them "Epic" with unique and delicious fillings. Nearly everyone in our party of 9 had leftovers from just one taco. And get the salted caramel ice cream taco for dessert - you will not be disappointed. We had an issue with ants when we first arrived (before we had even brought any food into the house), but the Host arranged for an exterminator to come the next morning. Some upgrades should be considered, including new baking sheets and more coffee mugs (there were plenty of clear glass mugs, but most our group wanted ceramic/pottery, and therefore had to immediately wash so someone else could use). And the kitchen really needs a new Kuerig instead of the knock-off that did not do a very good job making coffee ("start" had to be pushed repeatedly and the coffee came out very weak). If you plan on using any of the side and backyard seating areas, you will need to clean all the chairs first because they don't seem to be part of the regular cleaning cycle. These were minor issues that would not stop us from staying there again.

Our extended family traveled to the area after a wedding and visited the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Everyone enjoyed the house. We had 23 people and it accommodated everyone very well. The house had a lot of character as well has providing AC, good hot water supply, modern kitchen, etc. The kids area on the second floor was used a lot by the children and the common areas for visiting and eating were enjoyed each day.

Plenty of Room for Family Reunions - Unless you have a lot of carss
This is a great historic house. Plenty of bed rooms - 2 on the first floor that share a bath, 3 on the second floor with 2 attached baths, 3 bed rooms on the 3rd floor (1 has an attached bath and the other two rooms share a bath). The dinning area is large and has 2 long tables. There is also another long table in the parlor across the hall. Since this is an older house, expect to see a few cracks in the walls as well as some rough places on the wood floors. None of this caused a problem. Parking can be a problem if you have over 2 cars (drive way holds only 2 cars). The house is on the corner of two one-way roads. The city cleans one side of the road on Monday and the other side on Tuesday. There are signs up saying what day that side of the road is being cleaned. The issue comes up that a lot of properties only have street parking so all the street parking is taken on Mondays and Tuesdays unless you park early. A parking ticket is $30. The nearby houses have been refurbished so the area is nice until you get several houses away and then the neighborhood gets a bit rougher. It can make you uncomfortable to have to park farther from the house. Consider planning on going to a Walmart or grocery store in a nearby city instead of the grocery store near the house. There was an armed guard at the Kroger on Sunday afternoon and the store wasn't fully stocked.

The property is a historic house that is very nice. Overall the house was very clean. We did have 3 major issues, but texting the property owner was simple and the problems were corrected completely to our satisfaction. Location is convenient to shopping, the aquarium, the zoo, and Kings Island. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We do have some suggestions we will communicate directly to the owners, but the overall experience was very nice for our group of 21. This is a prime property that is recommended by our entire group.

Great Home for Family Reunion
This beautiful Victorian home had everything our extended family of 17 needed. We especially enjoyed the charming front porch to spend time. There are so many things to do in the area which suited all of our interests and ages. Bedroom space was better than expected for an older home! Spacious spaces to eat and congregate. Only complaint was we needed to make a run for toilet paper, shower soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher soap. We thought we might have a few more of these supplies. Kitchen was well equipped and lovely to cook in. Overall outstanding home to stay. Would book again if we have another reunion in this area.

Such a beautiful property!
We booked this home for a very low-key celebration for my daughter and her friends. The listing photos just don't do justice to the beauty of the home. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and the main gathering rooms were so spacious and well-furnished. But the most favorite features were the large front porch and the gorgeous yard. Quite the oasis in the city. The location is perfect for easy access to all the surrounding area has to offer. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Comfortable accommodations for a large group - loved that all (non-bunk) rooms were K beds! The common spaces provided comfortable seating for all guests and tables for the whole group to eat at. Beautiful 1905 home with updated kitchen that we would rent again in a heartbeat! **Listing should include 6-car limit and need to move cars on Mondays and Tuesdays for street cleaning.

Great Place for a Crowd
This property was so accommodating for our crowd of 20 people plus a few dinner guests. Plenty of plates, flatware, and plenty of space to either gather together or get secluded when you just needed a few minutes of privacy. The photo didn't really give a good indication of the neighborhood, however, which was a bit on the sketchy side. Overall though, this was the perfect place for my big family.

Debbie, Im glad your group enjoyed your stay at our property and that you found that it had more than enough supplies for your large group. Im sorry you felt the neighborhood was sketchy. This is NOT a common opinion so I am a little taken back. Perhaps its the diverse, urban, historic setting you are unfamiliar with. Although you felt it looked sketchy in pockets, Im pleased to say that nothing sketchy happened during your stay. Like the majority of our guest have recognized, it is a beautiful, safe neighborhood that is full of old charm and diverse individuals.

This house was perfect for our girls weekend. It had more than enough bathrooms and beds to hold all 14 of us adults! The house was clean and the property managers answered all our questions we had in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this house for a large group gathering!
