Easy to find / different kind of place

This is a different kind of hotel. I wasn't prepared for no ice machines or trading towels in at the desk. The room was great though, comfortable and spacious. Kitchenette was nice. Overall a very nice stay.

Group out front when we arrived were swearing and sounded like gang people from TV. Front desk clerk was keeping an eye on them. Potential for fighting,,, he was very nice, but wouldn't want his job. Grab and go breakfast....coffee was terrible and muffins I wouldn't eat. For $117 for a might, I certainly expected better. The coffee maker in the room was covered in dust as was the alarm clock...I wouldn't touch them. Very disappointing stay and extremely overpriced.

Les + : Convenience to the interstate. Room was large and quite clean.
Situation : Great for travelers as it is just off the interstate between Illinois and Indiana. There is a generic mall nearby, and several strip malls.
"Breakfast provided" is not the best description. It is a tiny 'grab and go' stand right at the front lobby door, with fresh coffee and fruit, and prepackaged muffins, and granola bars.

Les - : put the oven back, electric
Situation : mall ,groceries,safe area
clean room and we love the new look.new carpet air and heat on demand .

Room was great, very clean and great price! We just had gotten confused with the stove. We thought it had a oven so we bought a frozen pizza so we ended up not being able to really eat. :/ But stay was nice.

Lack of attention

Les + : The concept
Les - : Maintain equipment and respond to issues with urgency.
Situation : No clue
Fridge failed in the room. Took three days to handle. All food went bad. Hotel staff argued about reimburse for the food. Finally moved us into a new room but the stove did not work. At the end they tossed us $70 for the inconvenience. They don't have it together. So, I emailed the corporate office since I think extended stay is a franchise deal but not sure. Corp office has not got back to me, been 4 days.

I've experienced better

The first room they placed me in was not clean. The bathroom tub had dirt stains and hair. I was then given a second room and it appeared to be cleaner than the first. The noise level was loud, and I didn't sleep that great that evening.
