First, the check-in staff was not friendly or courteous. As a Marriott's rewards members, I was not given any offer or accommodation on room preference as provided in my profile. The staff member said the hotel is not owned by Marriott and do not follow Marriott's programs or rules. Second, the check-in staff said that no Marriott rewards points would not be allowed because I booked the reservation through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel. I did not know there was a penalty for booking a reservation through Expedia.com. Third, I was given a room on the ground floor, where there were lots of noise late at night and early morning making it difficult to sleep. I will not stay at this hotel in the future or recommend anyone to stay there.
