Quick overnight stay on road trip
Comfortable, clean, quiet, and easily accessible from the highway, pleasant front desk check in later at night. Only complaint was breakfast in the morning. Arrived to breakfast area by 9:20 a.m., and eggs were gone, potatoes sparse. Saw breakfast attendant at 9:35 and asked if more eggs were available. She didn't want to make any more since breakfast ended at 10 and "didn't want them to go to waste". Really should have full breakfast available until 10, especially when it was empty for at least 40 minutes prior.

The stay was great but the complimentary breakfast could’ve used a little more sides. Like the sausage gravy you get at other places.

Nice hotel with large, clean room. All the perks that come with Hampton Inn at a very reasonable price (at least this particular stay). Nice shopping area surrounding hotel. Nice location between Charleston and Huntington.

The hotel was very clean. Easy contactless check in process and keyless entry. Enjoyed the restaurants on each side of the hotel. Appreciated the drink options offered for sale.

When we arrived there was no receptionist. No bell to ring. So we started saying hello to see if anyone was around. After about 3 minutes the receptionist came out of the back and seemed irritated that we either were there or was trying to get someone’s attention. After that when we got to the room with a whirlpool tub the tub didn’t not work. But with the way we were greeted we said nothing and checked out the next morning. I have stayed in many Hampton’s and all over and usually that are good. Hence that’s why we were disappointed with our stay.

The property was clean, staff friendly, and convenient to dining and gas for the continuance of our journey. We chose a room with a jetted tub which allowed a much needed spa experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was just ok. Lots of bizzyness with the staff but very friendly. Pool needs updating, rail was extremely loose. Glass bottles were left under chairs, so maybe more upkeep. Breakfast was extremely good!!

Front desk was amazing. Room was clean, very comfortable. Restaurants in walking distance was a plus. Highly recommend Fat Patty’s hamburger place next door.

We apologize that our staff did not effectively communicate how seriously we take any report of a potential pest issue in a guest room. Our staff goes through great lengths to ensure that our rooms are properly cleaned and regularly inspected in addition to the routine monthly maintenance performed by a licensed exterminator. Property was clean. Staff was friendly. HVAC kept switchimg from heat to cool and back again making the room temperature fluxuate greatly. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. I didnt make staff aware because we were late getting to our room both nights and it would have been more of an inconvience to bring it up.
