« We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. We hauled a vehicle for the cruise in and had plenty of room for the truck and trailer. Our ONLY negative was that the carpet was a bit worn in places, but the place was so clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay! »

« Great place for a father and son hunting trip! Perfectly located near tons of public hunting land and lake access! The deck and fire pit were our nightly reminiscing spot and perfect for star gazing and quiet! The house has all you could ask for for a perfect family getaway! Hope to be back soon! »

« The property was very nice and clean. I was a little misled with location information. We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. Maybe if we took the green river ferry but it was only open from 8-6. »

« We really enjoyed the cottage. We were there for a show at Renfro Valley and the location was ideal. Very much appreciated the little extras like coffee and filters,salt and pepper. Even some toiletries in case we forgot something. Comfy beds and plenty of linens. Beautiful area to visit. »

« Upon arrival we noticed an odor. I had assummed the property was non smoking but soon found a pack of cigarettes above the microwave. Kelly left us a note stating the dishwasher was broken..not a big deal as we would only be eating in a few times. Housekeeping was lacking a bit. Dishes and utensils in the cabinets had food on them. The dining room table had a sticky residue in a couple spots.The dryer lint trap was so packed the dryer would not dry. We had very little cell service in the area...

« This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay. »

« The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend. »

« We loved the cottage! Very peaceful, quiet, and one of the cleanest VRBO locations I’ve ever stayed in. We saw several deer and sunsets over the wheat field were beautiful. The location was convenient to Kenny Perry’s golf course where we attended a family wedding. We cooked breakfast each morning and the kitchen had everything we needed. WiFi and cable worked well. My only suggestion would be a way to keep the bathroom cooler. It got pretty warm in there, especially when using a hair dryer...

« My soon-to-be 94-year-dad and I went to visit relatives and my daughter found this listing on the VRBO website. We were very comfortable and could have invited half of our family to stay as it could easily sleep 6-8 people. I recommend it highly! »

« This house is perfwct for family bonding time in the game room. We especially loved the karaoke set up! The home was clean and perfect size for our family of 6. The view of the lake is great as well as the wildlife, we saw multiple Pileated Woodpeckers and Carolina Wrens. »

« The home was exactly as pictured online. It was immaculately clean and owner was very responsive, even reaching out to us to simply make sure we were comfortable. There are areas to be together as a large group in the house and the layout also provides plenty of privacy with 8 separate bedrooms. We had an amazing stay and will definitely stay here again next year. »

« Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodations for my father in laws memorial. It was the perfect spot for our family to come together and reminisce with plenty of space for the kids to play after the service, and the views were amazing! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked, and I was beyond excited to find REAL toilet paper for us! Thank you again, and we will most definitely stay here again when we return to Somerset/Burnside! »

« Terrific, clean spot with spectacular view of Nolin Lake from the porch. While a little long (40min) , the drive to the mammoth caves is beautiful, and the serenity of being on the lake is unmatched. Responsive and helpful hosts. »

« A perfect place to experience the lake life vibe and relax with wonderful wooded lake views from the full wrap around deck as well as inside the cabin. The home was just as described and had everything needed for a perfect stay. Hosts Linda and Josh were great and really stepped up to ensure for our comfort and safety when a storm came through the area. Truly wonderful people who take great care of their vacation home and guests! Highly recommend! »
