Nice place in a small town
The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. Good breakfast! Room needed so TLC, bathroom sink drain plug was broke, toilet paper dispenser missing and cover for bathroom light fixture missing. Didn't detract from our overall stay, just wanted to mention it.

The wifi did not work at all and I could not make a phone call from my room. Had to go out side to make a call or send a text. very inconvenient. tried to get help but was unable to get it fixed.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Skip breakfast.
Everything was great except breakfast. Sausage and omelette texture was like rubber and was not good. Potatoes okay. I think Hilton needs to improve on their breakfast. Bagels fell apart before toasting. Staff was great, pool was clean, rooms immaculate and spacious.

When we arrived on Saturday, I paid $150 for a room that was soak and wet on the floor from the air conditioner leaking and making a horrible noise and kept cutting off and would make the room super HOT and it had a smell to the room from the water leaking. The next day I asked to change rooms and the front seat clerk told me to arrive back about 2 and she would give me the first room available, Least to say I came back at 2 and she said give them 30 more minutes, which I gave them 35 minutes and when I went back in she said it wasn’t ready to give them 20 more minutes, least to say after 30 more minutes my room still was ready. I wasn’t able to check in until 3:30 or a little after. That kind of service was not worth the money that I spent on the rooms. Breakfast was HORRIBLE as well, the potatoes was not cooked fully.

Property was under construction, which we were NOT informed of. Hotel wasn’t clean at all. Check-in was late. Very disappointed. I usually associate the Hilton name with upper class hotels, but this one is NOT!

Pros: Clean room, nice cold AC, good water pressure. Helpful and friend front-desk. Cons: Hotel is still under renovation, even though the Hampton/Hilton website no longer has the disclosure. Supposed to have been completed by 31-May. Subpar breakfast in dirty meeting room/storage. Doesn't look like it will be completed any time soon. Smell of mold/mildew in left elevator shaft. No AC in the 2nd or 3rd floor hallways.

In the midst of remodeling one would think the staff would be nicer and they might try to compensate a little by a better breakfast. That did not happen. The breakfast had completely melted ice, old bananas, empty trays, and no service. Hampton management should be embarrassed.

We've stayed at this property several times in the past year. This time, the dinning area was under construction. One of the conference rooms was converted to the breakfast buffet, but the breakfast was understandably subpar. We'll return, but in several months, once the construction is complete.

We arrived at the hotel at 2pm after traveling 350 miles. We were tired. We know check in is at 3pm but thought we would inquire about the possibility of an early checking in. We were treated quite rudely. No one bothered to check to see if our room might be ready. We were told they do not ALLOW early check in. We were so appalled by the poor customer service that, although our room was guaranteed, we decided not to stay at your facility. There are plenty of hotels to choose from and we have never encountered this lack of courtesy upon checking in before. In the future - yours will be the last on our list. To be clear - it's not that our request was refused. It was the manner in which it was refused. We did not try to check in at NOON. It was 2pm. Surely some of your rooms had to be available - but no one bothered to even check. If this is in fact your company policy, it is not in line with your competitors.

I want to start by saying, I visit Joaquin 1-2 times a year to visit my mom. This was the first year I was able to bring my pup along with me. There is only one hotel in Joaquin and they are NOT pet friendly but lucky for us this Hampton was! Me and my pup had a great stay, room was nice and clean, the hotel all around was clean and I especially like that on one side is a field I was able to let my dog run around and do her business. So all future stays will definitely be here at the Hampton in Center! Also the lady who worked Sunday 8/28 is an angel, and was the most kind lady I’ve ever experienced when I’ve stayed at any hotel anywhere, so genuine!

We stayed only one night with our rescue dog (Staffordshire) This hotel is a dog friendly, specially at the front desk. We loved the way she welcomed us and our dog. Breakfast was good and we had he opportunity to taste “Texas” in a delicious warm waffle shape, everything was clean.

Service is great. Stay here; you won’t regret it!
I enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful if you needed anything. Room was clean when requested. Extra Towels was brought to my room when needed. Breakfast was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Not very good
Room a/c did not cool the room. Called the desk but no one answered. Finally the a/c kicked on, but only cooled for 45 mins then back to just fan. All floor material was sticky from some residue.

Our room had a few maintenance issues that we felt like we should share. Not huge problems for us, but it might be for some travelers. The bathtub drain plug wouldn't hold up in the drain position, so the water remained in the tub. Not very pleasant. Also the toilet seat was loose and needed to be tightened down. The movement of this toilet seat is bothersome, especially for the elderly. We love staying at your hotel, and will do so again, as we travel through Center frequently, but we hope these little maintenance items will be repaired. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Thank you so much for a awesome experience with our stay. I took my 2 granddaughters for a new years slumber party and we had a awesome stay. The room was great and we loved it. Comfortable beds and nice and clean.

There was no one at the front desk multiple times. We only had 2 bath towels and 2 washcloths in our room. We were only staying the night, however, there were two of us. Therefore, we had to reused our towels the next morning.
