Beaucoup de charme, accueil chaleureux
Merveilleux accueil de Manuela qui a pris le temps de nous donner des conseils sur les lieux incontournables et des restos. L’appartement est très bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. En plus possibilité de laisser les bagages sur place , un vrai plus.

Très bien situé et très bon accueil
Hôte très agréable et joviale. Cette dernière, suite au retard de l'avion + mesure test PCR, nous a permis de rentrer à 23:00. La chambre était nickel et nous avons bien dormis. Le petit déjeuner est simple avec des spécialités locales (gâteau à la pistache...) et elle vous sert un café Italien qui vous booste pour la journée. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Nous avons eu un très beau séjour à Catania et nul doute que le Leone Blu B&B y a contribué grandement. Sa situation centrale près des principaux lieux touristiques de cette ville, la proximité de bons restaurants, une chambre agréable, confortable, propre, tranquille et un accueil chaleureux sont les principaux points que nous retenons. Il faut signaler que l'hotel est situé dans un quartier ancient de Catania, ne dispose pas d'ascenseur et que sa façade reflète cette réalité. Pour nous cela n'a pas été un facteur important parce que son intérieur est d'une grande beauté.

+ Super emplacement. + Bon accueil + Idéal pour un séjour de 2 ou 3 nuits + nos hotes se plient en 4 pour nous satisfaire (conseils pour les sorties, resto...) - pas idéal pour les familles ou pour un séjour de + de 3 nuits - petit déj trop industriel - un peu bruyant à l'extérieur

The breakfast is not industrial but artisan, prepared by pastry Laboratories, also we had groups of families for long bookings, your assessment of what is based? The B&B is perfectly soundproof, then if you sleep with the open window it is your problem. Thanks anyway for your assessment

Excellent confort, accueil remarquable
Le B&B il Leone Blu est très ben situé . Il est a 6 minutes de la place principale qui est belle avec sa cathédrale, son domo, sa fontaine, sa colonne. Elle également proche du couvent des bénédictines ensemble baroque, qu'il faut visiter avec un guide. Le B&B castello Ursino est a 8 minutes en voiture de l' aéroport. Il est a proximité du castello Ursino autour duquel il y a plusieurs restaurants et ou il est assez facile de garer une voiture. La rue est grise comme toutes les autres. Pour accéder a ce B&B il faut monter un escalier assez étroit et plutôt haut. En découvrant notre lieu de séjour nous avons été émerveillé. D'abord une entrée puis une très grande chambre (30 m² environ) bien décorée, confortable. La literie est de grand confort et la salle de bain wc est fonctionnelle et très propre.. Le plafond est décoré de motifs peints en relief. Ce B&B a été rénové il y a environ un an. La climatisation est simple efficace silencieuse. Un balcon donne sur la rue. Le petit déjeuné se prend dans une salle commune , il est très bon. Durant notre séjour, l' hôtesse a fait tout son possible pour rendre notre séjour agréable, pour nous donner des conseils et nous parler de Catane. Nous avons visité le marché aux poissons et aux fruits légumes situé près de la place principale. Nous recommandons la visite de ce marché ou thons rouges, espadons, pieuvres, rougets sont négociés dans un brouhaha sympathique. Superbe séjour

B&B très bien situé. Propreté exceptionnelle.
Manuela, la propriétaire, est une hote extraordinaire et offre un service personnalisé et de très grande qualité. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter. Elle nous a indiqué les points d'intérêt à visiter, ainsi que de bonnes adresses ou manger et prendre un apéro.

Bon séjour 1 nuit
Bon séjour d'une nuit à Catane. Accueil sympathique, belle chambre et bon petit déjeuner à la même table (tel chambre d'hôte). Conseil de restaurant et réservation effectuée par le B&B. ++ Seul bémol : mauvais conseil pour aller à la plage à pieds (plus de 30 min de marche près de la voie rapide et traversée d'un rond point, donc difficile d'accès en tant que piétons) et puis plage de Catane pas entretenue (détritus) et proche des ferries... :(

Il Leone Blue is a beautiful, charming place, specious and very comfortable bed. We absolutely loved the decor, the stylish furniture, the art, the books on history of the place, even the appliances were very cool but the most amazing are tge ceilings. When you wake up and open your eyes, you truly feel like royalty, absolutely loved it!!! Also the place is located in a heart of Catania, we walked everywhere, lots of options for dining as well. The host, Manuela, is an excellent communicator, she even sent us a video how to open the door, which was very helpful, we were able to leave our luggage after check out and she even called us a taxi to take us to the airport. It was very good experience and I would highly recommend Il Leone Blue for a stay in Catania.

We had a great stay at Il Leone Blu. The B&B is immaculate and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Manuela was extremely informative and helpful, and the lady that looked after the breakfast and the rooms was lovely. Would definitely stay there again if we went back to Catania.

Poor service leads to disappointing stay
Disappointing in many respects. Check- in done by apps and phone- never met manager. Felt very impersonal. Breakfast was day before leftovers-poor selection, small amount and pastries stale. Website says airport shuttle costs€18 but hotel arranged taxi cost € 30 and my friend €40! Biggest issue was Hotels.com says pay at property but with no communication or forewarning, manager put hotel cost through on credit card used to reserve room. When I tried to have hotel charged to a different credit card, manager complained it would cost her and was too much trouble. Very poor service but room was large, clean and with windows shut, most of the noise from the bar below wasn’t heard.

Cara Noemi Mi dispiace leggere questa tua recensione, siamo stati a completa disposizione vostra ogni momento che è stato richiesto un aiuto, ilCheck in è stato fatto a distanza perché non avete comunicato il vostro orario di arrivo e ti ricordo che hai prenotato un B&B.Il prezzo del taxi è differente perché hai chiesto una prenotazione e per la tua amica un taxi alle 4.30 del mattino e viene applicato dai taxi di catania un extra perché è notturno. I prezzi dei taxi non li decido io, io mi sono limitata a rispondere alla tua richiesta di prenotazione di un taxi. Nel sito Expidia non hanno aggiornato il prezzo del taxi che è aumentato già da 2 anni. Il pagamento della camera è stato fatto con la carta di credito che ci ha fornito il portale Expidia con cui hai fatto la prenotazione e dal momento che inserisci quella carta di credito, da regolamento, si può procedere all’ addebito. Mi hai detto solo che volevi che pagasse la tua amica, per una questione dei vostri calcoli e non per altri tipo di necessità , ma io devo addebitare la carta di credito che hai inserito che corrisponde alla prenotazione, inoltre ti ho informata che il rimborso della carta di credito mi avrebbe addebitato comunque le commissioni di transazione che avrei dovuto pagare così due volte… ti ho chiesto se fosse necessario e mi hai detto che non c’era nessun problema.La colazione viene comprata nel bar e portata all’interno del B&B e servita e come è indicato, gli avanzi vengono buttati. Mi dispiace che la nostra disponibilità in tutto non è stata gradita, vi consiglio di prenotare un hotel la prossima volta dove sono certa che troverete più varietà di colazione e dove il transfert interno di taxi vi sarebbe costato 45 euro. Ti auguro una buona serata e il consiglio è di verificare e chiedere i prezzi così da poter decidere da sola la convenienza del trasporto.

Very nice room! Great location, the block looks a little sketchy but it’s totally safe and really convenient to serious touristy areas. We didn’t get to have breakfast because of an early flight, but highly recommend!

Gorgeous rooms in older building. Spacious, well appointed, beds and bath very comfortable. Fabulous high painted and decorated ceilings. Good breakfast and helpful staff. The entry way is older and plain but delight ensues as soon as you open the door to the second floor. Very helpful getting a cab for early morning flight.

Charming hidden gem in Catania
We loved our very comfortable and clean accommodations. The painted ceiling and the three balconies added such charm. Room is spacious and the bedding very comfortable. The arrival from the street was a bit rough with some construction in the entry area and lots of stairs...first impression was a little rough, but once you get up the stairs you enter the most lovely common area and unit. Location was excellent...one of our best meal in Sicily was the meal right down the road at Ristorante da Antonio! Service was attentive and helpful with our arrival and departure information. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay, Manuela could not have been more hospitable. The room is exceptionally clean and smelt of fresh linen, we had the option of Netflix on the TV and the communal breakfast and dining area was great. Wish I could give this place 10 stars

This is a beautiful B&B. It is a great location with lots of restaurants and sights within walking distance. Manuel arranged our requested transfers. The only draw back is there is no elevator. There are stairs going up about four flights. Our driver carried our luggage up. It was a lovely place to stay! We would stay there again if we went back to Catania!

Book this place!
We had a wonderful stay in an amazing room. Book room number 1! Large and very nicely appointed with three Juliette balconies a sitting area and amazingly comfy bed. Breakfast was very good and the hotel is located within walking distance to all the historical sites and very good restaurants. (Photo is of the ceiling in our room)

Nice room though pushy staff.
The owner/manager went above and beyond as I was delayed and arrived late. I thought breakfast finished at 8:30. A lady came in then and said no, breakfast 8:30. I stayed had a pice of toast and yogurt. The lady was in a tizzy kept saying out by 10:30… I understood that well. Kept saying si… Had wished to take a walk before leaving. She kept repeating must clean. I was all packed up … the repetition and angst became too much so I got my bags she took one brought it to street full of grazie with a push. My dog used to watch me closely eat so I was used to it…cappuccino was milk froth. grateful for beginning, though complicated… ending not so good… felt pushed out early. It was a clean quiet room… it was a travel adventure and my first night in Sicily.

The property is in the heart of the historic part of the city , within easy walking distance of all major attractions and amenities . It's location gives guests a real flavor of life in authentic Siciliano city. It is excellently well maintained, with a very warm and welcoming host who is a mine of information both local and further afield. Ignore other reviewers complaints of the surrounding noise, it's a lived in city. Enjoy the experience.

Adorable B&B in the heart of Catania. Very convenient location to visit the city, safe and walkable. Host was amazing, she gave us great tips where to eat and what to visit, follow any advise she give you and you won’t be disappointed!!! Available free street parking around. Only little con: no elevator. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed two nights. We were a little skeptical of the area when we first arrive but we were not used to the city. The host, Daniella, was fantastic. She saw us and came right down. She carried the larger suitcase up the stairs. The b&b is two flights up but we did not have to go in and out too many times. The whole b&b has been updated except for the beautiful original ceiling and other architecture features. Our room had musical instruments and flowers on the ceiling. Beautiful! We were very close to the castle which is a museum and the Duomo. There are also other things to look at which we did not have time for. She gave us a fantastic local restaurant to eat at. Trattoria Giglio Rossa on Via S Anna. The food was fantastic. The first night we had the swordfish with almonds. The second night tuna with sweet and sour onions. For pasta penne with olive oil, garlic and cherry tomatoes. Best bread we had in the three weeks we spent in Italy

Loved it!
Location was great and such beautiful hotel! Very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was also super nice and overall we very much enjoyed our stay. The only area for improvement was the variety of food for breakfast- most of the food was just pastries and cake, not enough (or any) cheese and meat.
