Cet établissement est un hôtel-club familial, et pas un hôtel 4 étoiles. Il y a tromperie sur le produit... La restauration est catastrophique, même si le jeune personnel est gentil.

Moyen surtout pour la tranquillité
Tout se passait très bien jusqu'à ce qu'a 21heures à la fin de la restauration l'activité se passe à l'intérieur avec un animateur qui cri +++ dans le micro et cela résonne dans les chambres d'hôtels, musique forte et personnes qui crient ... Impossible de dormiez avant 00h... Dommage il aurait fallu annuler l'annimation au vue de la pluie à l'extérieur plutôt que d'entraver le confort des autres clients. Néanmoins restaurant correct avec buffet à volonté. Literie confortable. Hôtel très agréable à distance de la ville. De nombreuses activités pour les enfants et adultes tout au long de la journée ce qui pourrait faire penser à un camping ou un club vacances, très familial donc beaucoup d'enfants.... Ce qui rond la tranquillité des lieux. Personnel parfait

Bel hôtel avec piscine superbe et vue magnifique.
Difficile à trouver, mais cela vaut la peine d'y arriver. Qualité/prix exceptionnel. Recommandation de rester plus d'une journée. Déjeuner bien, mais salle à manger avec atmosphère très froid. Personnel impeccable à la réception et au bar, mais indifférent aux tables.

Accueil très décevant (à la limite de la politesse), hôtel occupé par des tour opérators, aucune possibilité de dîner sur place si on ne souhaite pas bénéficier du buffet unique (25 euros par personne !)

Grande Hotel à Sélinonte : loin de tout!
Beaucoup de difficultés à trouver cet hôtel avec le gps qui ne comprenait rien à l'adresse. L'hôtel est à 1 ou 2 kms du site historique mais aussi à 2 ou 3 kms de la plage animée (en saison) de Marinella di Selinunte. Les 4 étoiles ne sont pas usurpées pour l'impression générale mais on se retrouve dans un hôtel vide avec un personnel à peine aimable, loin des restos, loin de la plage... Le repas du soir dans le restaurant de l'hôtel était très limite, certainement le plus médiocre de tout notre séjour en Sicile. Cependant, confort de la chambre impeccable et vue agréable depuis celle-ci à un prix très très démocratique (hors saison).

Good for the money
They have excellent staff that spoke English and were helpful with getting us extra pillows and changing our room ( we weren't getting wifi ). They offer free transportation to a beautiful beach and breakfast.

Ok but not great
This hotel is fine but it's a bit far from the main part of town. Being told we had to wear a swimming cap in the pool (ie had to buy one) for 'hygiene' was pretty offensive. Food for dinner and breakfast was fine. Good service. The arrival of about 200 teenagers broke the peace and quiet. Not great. The room was fine but quite small for 3 people. The balcony needed a clean. Very dusty/ grubby.

Claramente el hotel no merece 4 estrellas. Pobrísimo servicio de restaurante y sin posibilidad de salir (si no se tiene coche) Magnifico tamaño habitación, pero poco acogedora. Buena piscina

Hotel offered great value and the room for presented to a very high standard based on a Mexican theme. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast had a selection of fresh fruit and a wide choice of continental meats and cheese.

ottimo punto di riferimento, buona struttura, ok!!
la struttura è situata in prossimità di selinunte, quindi a 2 passi dal mare, con spiaggia privata e attrezzata. è una struttura nuova con vista fantastica e con un personale veramente accogliente e disponibile ad ogni esigenza!! il cibo è locale senza troppe esigenze ma di buona qualità, i comfort come la piscina ed altre strutture di gioco e disimbpegno ti danno la possibilità di trascorrere anche del buon tempo di svago e relax, il paesaggio è tutto pianeggiante e ti da la possibilità di affittare e girare molti posti nei dintorni. è un ottimo punto di riferimento strategico per chi vuole visitare sia la costa a sud, che attraversare in 40 minuti e visitare la costa a nord( san vito lo capo, riserza dello zingaro, tonnara do scopello....eccc); INFINE un ottimo applauso per i ragazzi dell'intrattenimento hotel che nella loro semplicità riescono a coinvolgere grandi e piccini.....a tutte le ore!!! insomma ci tornerei molto volentieri.....anche il prezzo è stato vantaggioso

ci vado ogni anno volentieri!!!
perfetto per relax , ma anche divertente con 2 simpatici animatori non ivadenti e allegri...il bambino nella piscina si diverte da matti , si mangia bene e il personale sia alla reception che in sala pranzo e' gentile e cordiale...pulizia buone e prezzo ottimo....sostituendo una decina di sdraio un po malconce che creano qualche problema in piscina il resto e' perfetto ....lo consiglio a tutti!!!!!

Aria condizionata non funzionante, nessuna scusa e nessuna riduzione per il disagio. La stanza aveva un balcone sulla piscina per cui era impossibile tenere la finestra aperta a causa della musica e dell'animazione. Nessuna possibilita' di cambiare stanza. Abbiamo chiesto un ventilatore ma non era disponibile. Il secondo giorno, ancora incerti sulla possibile riparazione del guasto da parte del personale ( pare che il guasto fosse solo su alcune stanze) abbiamo lasciato l'hotel.

Don't Go!
This hotel definitely needs to be re-rated. We stayed in 9 hotels when we were in Sicily and this one was the worst! It was difficult to find, the pool was not open and looked disgusting, the showers had mold, and when we asked to change rooms, the manager said a bus was coming in 30 minutes (untrue), and no rooms were available. We were one of two rooms with guests until the bus finally arrived that night. When we persisted, we did change rooms, but the second shower was worse, plus the shower head did not work. There was mold in our butter at breakfast, and she opened another package, looked at it, closed it back up, put it on a silver tray and brought it to us, and explained the reason was that there were only two guests at the hotel. The place was dirty, the staff was rude, and unsightly scenes just kept appearing. I will NOT ever get near the place again. It it's 4 Star, I can't even imagine what would be considered a 3, 2, or (heaven forbid) a 1 Star would be like.

Mooi hotel met prima voorzieningen zoals zwembad en nette kamer. Ligging is iets te ver van de zee en het dorp. Goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding. Personeel stug en afstandelijk.

Grande Hotel Selinunte - en skön avkoppling
Ett typiskt charterhotell, dock nästan bara Italienska gäster, bra rum, bra pris, frukost kanon, bra service, egen beach club på en fantastisk strand. Nackdelar bara buffe på lunch och middag vilka var dyra om man inte hade all inclusive, internet tillgång bara i receptionen. Väldigt hög musik vid poolen under dess öppentider.

Grande Hotel Selinunte
The hotel is in a nice position overlooking farmland and the sea and has a good restaurant. They have their own beach area with sun loungers and umbrellas about half a mile away and a mini bus will take you to the entrance to the green area where it is situated. The hotel gets crowded at weekends but we had the pool almost to ourselves during the week. Staff are ok but have limited English. The map is less than helpful showing the hotel in Castelvetrano when in fact its in Marinella di Selinunte - head there and follow the signs.

Tough to find but worth the effort.
This was an interesting place. I fear they will not survive. We loved the rooms. They were very large and modern with nice views and balconies. This hotel is located in Selinunte and not in Castelvetrano. However, everything from their website, to our GPS to maps indicate that this place is in Castelvetrano. Some nice guy at the local gas station lead us several miles through back roads to find the hotel. Without that we may never have found it. There is nothing at all near or around the hotel. No bars, restaurants or stores within walking distance. The beach is nearby and so is the historic site (though a very long walk). But finding food can be difficult if you don't want to use the hotel restaurant. The Hotel offered a very nice buffet Breakfast which was very good and extensive.

Besserer Service durch neuen Besitzer
Waren letztes Jahr schon einmal da. Lage sehr schön mit Meerblick inmitten von Olivenhainen. Durch Besitzerwechsel konnte auch der Service deutlich verbessert werden. Nur an den Wochenenden ausgebucht. Auto wegen Lage 2 km abseits des Ortes dringend erforderlich. Gutes und preiswertes Essen gibt es im Restaurante Athena, wo auch Camper übernachten können. Wir kommen wieder.

Onwijs mooi hotel
Het was een enorme verrassing voor ons, hoe mooi het hotel en de omgeving was. Het hotel ligt wel in een afgelegen gebied, maar wel met een waanzinnig uitzicht op olijf,- en druivengarde. Op het moment dat wij er waren was het erg rustig. Normaal is er een ontbijtbuffet, maar die was er nu niet. Maar dat hield niet in dat het ontbijt slecht was. Want we werden in de watten gelegd door het bediend personeel. Wel wil ik mensen aanraden om met de auto te gaan. De plaatsen in de directe omgeving liggen niet op loopafstand. Ook lijkt mij het hotel niet geschikt voor ouders met zeer kleine kinderen, er is namelijk geen speeltuin. Wel een mooi zwembad. Maar voor ieder die hier geen probleem mee heeft, komt in een mooi hotel te zitten met een met zeer nette kamers en een goede service. Omdat wij vaak in Sicilië komen wordt dit voor ons een vast adres om er te verblijven

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Das Grande Hotel Selinunte liegt in ruhiger Lage inmitten von Olivenhainen, etwas abseits des Ortes Marinella di Selinunte. Um in den Hauptort und zu der antiken Ruinenstadt zu gelangen ist ein PKW sehr empfehlenswert! Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war gut. Am kleinen aber schön gelegenen Pool konnte man gut entspannen und die Ruhe und den Blick auf die Landschaft genießen. Negativ zu bewerten ist der Müll der sich rings um das Hotel angesammelt hat, der aber leider generell die Straßenränder der Region säumt.

Schönes Hotel etwas abseits in den Olivenhainen gelegen mit phantastischem Meerblick. Wagen sollte vorhanden sein. Gute Ausgangsposition für Besichtigungen. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis im Restaurante Athena bei Enzo auf der SS115. Top-Fleischgerichte im Agriturismo Carbona. Bestes Fischrestaurant bei Vittorio in Porto Palo. Ich kann dieses preisgünstige Hotel empfehlen!

kein service; keine fremdsprachen; laut von morgens bis in die nacht; schlechtes, dreckiges, altes zimmer; grottiges frühstück; nicht zu finden ohne nachfragen; ... einzig die lage war schön tipp: gegenüber an der hauptverkehrsstraße gibt es das "il coure di dionisios" - super schönes landhotel mit leckerem essen, freundlichem personal, phantatischer atmosphäre - also komplett das gegenteil. die zimmer haben wir uns allerdings nicht angeschaut

Grande Hotel Selinunte - deilig for sol og bading
Frokosten var midt på treet, og en måtte betale ekstra dersom en ønsket en espresso. Rommet var helt greit. Vi var mest fornøyd med egen balkong med solnedgang og at det var solsenger og parasoll på strand ca 2 km unna inkludert i romprisen.

Great hotel
The hotel staff was outstanding! They helped us with our travels between small towns in the vacinities and made accomodations specific to our needs. They transported us to the train station on our last day at the hotel. They were wonderful. The location of the hotel was within walking distance (45min walk) to the arceological sites in Salinunte. However, the walk is unsafe due to stray dogs.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit Meerblick. Nette Lokale in der Umgebung. Barmann Salvatore kann gute Tipps geben. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. Touristisch noch nicht so bekannt.
