Beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'offre l'hôtel !!!
L’hôtel est situé dans un lieu paradisiaque par contre perdu au milieu de nulle part. Aucun restaurant, épicerie ou supermarché à proximité ce qui vous êtes obligé de manger au restaurant de l’hôtel tous les soirs et bien sûr il pratique des prix exorbitants pour la Colombie. Le points positif est que les lits sont très confortables.

First the food is amazing, go for lunch or better dinner. Unfortunately this hotel faces the dreaded Cholon party scene. And its every day from 10-4. Thumping non stop. This is not the place to relax, during peak season it goes beyond unbearable. The rooms are fine, nothing unique about them, good enough. The facilities and "beach" is fine too. Again great great food even better than Islas Hotel but the music is unbearable

We appreciate your feedback about the amazing food at Aura Hotel Baru.Indeed the first two weeks of january are the highest peak, we understand that this can make it challenging to relax. However, we're glad to know that the rooms and facilities are satisfactory. We hope that the hotel can address the issue of the loud music to improve the overall experience for guests.

It is a nice place to relax, there is no TV. Only one menu option and nothing really nearby to have a bit so the hotel's menu is basically your only choice. Prices are high in my opinion, the food is good. Staff friendly, although not like in other destinations we have been to, particularly in Mexico. The little beach of the hotel is very nice. I would not recommend anyone to stay more than 3 days, at least I wouldn't normally do that.

Nice people that wanted to be helpful but the place was not that nice. On the older side and upkeep could be improved. Bare amenities. No gym. No tv. Service at dinner and breakfast was slow and needs improvement. Beach/water left a lot to be desired

Ok, so you come to this place for three things...the food, the level of service and the solitude. Those 3 things can't be beat. The food is out of this world! The rooms need some TLC, and a pool would be nice. That being said, I would return here in a heartbeat. In fact, I plan on it. In all transparency, Im not an animal person so would do away with the pet-friendly part, but have to say I was not personally hindered by the small dogs that were present. I can just see somebody thinking it appropriate to bring large or aggressive dogs.

Glad we decided to stay at Hotel Aura while visiting Barù. The grounds were perfect for 5 days and 4 nights of relaxation and water activities. When not laying out on the comfy beachside beds, we booked a tour and visited islands, participated in the yoga class, and kayaked. Service in general was slower-paced than we are used to in the states, but that is a good thing. Staff were really fun and accommodating of our group. Looking forward to returning.

There was a strange vibe at this hotel amongst the staff. The receptionists and manager were extremely friendly, but the rest of the staff were outwardly disgruntled and unfriendly. I’m not sure what was going on behind the scenes there. The rooms I stayed in were both over the kitchen. There was a constant humming and strong vibration that you could feel and hear constantly. I don’t think they should put anyone in these rooms as they are so un peaceful! Be advised that if you book private transport, the hotel is gauging the transportation company! They forgot to pack all of my belongings into the car (though they told me they had), and then when we had to turn around, they changed the driver of the car for the extra time! This was a harsh thing to do, considering that drivers in Colombia make next to nothing!

Excellent stay - great staff
We enjoyed our stay in Aura a lot. Great service, well trained staff and excellent Management. The rooms were clean and large, tasty breakfast and food. We especially enjoyed the small beach area with great customer service. It is not a party-beach but you can hear the music from the boats and opposite beach. Did not disturb our beach days. We can definitely recommend it!

The hotel was ok. Unfortunately the manager was very unhelpful. They Offered no solution to exchange money. No transportation out of the hotel unless it through their overpriced tour company. The is 1 hour away from the airport and 20 minutes from playa blanca beach. You would think they would have car or taxi service to get you to the beach but the wasn’t a taxi in sight. The restaurant food was ok- the menu is the same every day. There is no variety

The staff was nice, the facility was clean and desinfected. The best part is that it wasn't too crowded, allowing guests to have enough space and practice social distance. Overall a good experience.

The property is very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The private beach is nice but the water isn’t as clean as you’d expect from the pictures and it’s only about waist deep at the deepest part of the marked parameter. The food in the restaurant was good and the cocktails were delicious ... but the prices are so high it is difficult to enjoy. Me and my girlfriend tried to eat lightly because I’d the prices and the total was still more than 500,000 pesos per day. Since the hotel is secluded you have no other options. After paying 400,000 for the room the bill from at the restaurant was a little disappointing.

Es un hotel boutique convenientemente ubicado en la isla de Barú al frente de Cholón. El servicio es impecable, la comida es deliciosa y tienes la oportunidad de disfrutar la playa, la cual es pequeña pero muy hermosa. Con mi familia fui a hacer kayaking por la zona y lo pasmos super!

The service was truly shocking and ruined our stay. Thank goodness we only booked for 3 nights. The staff are clueless and inattentive but worst of all, they just blame each other for the chaos. We spoke to the General Manager who explained they all need retraining. This guy should be sacked immediately for taking no responsibility and doing nothing to sort things in the present moment. Truly awful. Do not stay here.

Nice stay, a bit overpriced for this type of hotel
Staff was very friendly and the overall common areas as well as the room were clean and confortable. The vegetarian menu is very limited, breakfast was yummy and plenty though. The food and additional services such as body massages are a bit overpriced. They take long to get you the final total itemized receipt.

Pésima experiencia!! No lo recomiendo. Las cuentas alteradas, te colocan consumos falsos. No te puedes bañar en la playita. Te llevan en lancha a otra playa pública. No hay Televisión ni WiFi en habitación. Las instalaciones en mal estado y no me dieron FACTURA. 🤔🤔🤔
