Overpriced for the quality
Wifi had many hour long interruptions. Beds are very short. Many staff but rather inefficient both at registration and at breakfast. Price was too high compared with the quality. Nice view on table mountain.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bien proche du Waterfront quartier sécurisant. Proche des restaurants et magasins. Petit déjeuner buffet copieux. Personnel très serviable. Ne pas compter se faire réveiller par la réception, ils oublient.

Un sentiment partagé pour cet hôtel
La situation de cet hôtel est irréprochable à proximité du Waterfront . Le personnel est très agréable et serviable . Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Toutefois, nous ne le recommanderons pas . Le problème est la chambre qui est très petite pour un hôtel de cette catégorie mais surtout n'a pas été restaurée depuis 20 ou 30 ans( meubles usagés, salle de bain vétuste, aucune isolation des fenêtres et des cloisons). Impossible de dormir avant minuit et après 5h, heure de départ des groupes et de prise de fonction du personnel. De plus, il est annoncé sur le site expédia que le parking est gratuit alors que la réception a voulu nous le faire régler; notre refus catégorique fait que nous avons eu gain de cause mais heureusement que notre anglais est honorable; le seul employé francophone est à la bagagerie! Cet hôtel est malheureusement du même type que le Merville à l'Ile Maurice qui appartient au même groupe.

L'hotel est tres confortable, tres bien situe et on s'y sent tres bien grace au personnel qui est d'une extreme gentillesse. Le buffet du petit-dejeuner est copieux.

V&A Waterfront の近くで、一人歩きで往復しても不安なく歩けるのがとても良い。スタッフは機敏で丁寧に対応してくれる。周辺の治安が数年前よりもさらに改善されているように感じました。夕食をV&A Waterfront で食べて陽が沈んでからホテルまで歩いて帰れる安心感や、ホテル周辺はウォーターフロント含めランニングルートにもなっていて、歩道にキロ(距離)表示がされていて、良くランナーたちの姿を見たし、ホテルの部屋の広さもバスルームも快適に過ごすことができました。

Very convenient for the waterfront. One evening we sat in the bar and no one came to serve us. After 30mins we left for our room. We had an issue checking out early. The hotel blamed Expedia, and vice versa. Annoying, but it got sorted out within 30mins. And after, the duty manager gave us 2 free tickets to the diamond museum (which was worth a visit - if you can stand the sales pressure!!!)

Waterfront shopping easily accessible
I was not warned that this stay (unlike a recent stay) did not include parking - so best to check when booking! Cleaning staff in rooms/passages are VERY noisy when talking to each other. Good wi fi, glad to have news channels on TV (Sky & CNN). Spacious room and great to have a fridge. Providing water is a nice touch. I was unhappy to see hat no separate container was provided for recycling.

Overall a nice hotel and well located. My only negative take was was the lack of welcoming from the reception. The rest of the staff where fantastic. Amazing how just a lack of a smile or a kind word can make such a difference.

Excellent value for money hotel in a fantastic location. My friends stayed 2 minutes walk away for 4K Rand more a night! Staff was lovely and friendly. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Nice little touches like free bottled water in the rooms. Only hiccup was room service breakfast got missed, but it was easy to get myself from the dining room. All around a very comfortable stay and would be back!

Jag hade detractors hotellet som bas under 15 dagar som jag tillbringade i hela Cape West. Läget är mycket bra nära till Waterfront och mycket säker omgivning. Servicen var extraordinär och hela personalen ville mycket väl. Värt är också att nämna deras 5-stjärniga frukost

Our usual stop when visiting Cape Town V&A Waterfront. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants, very convenient parking, safe area. Always very friendly and good value. Things that didnt work for us and could be improved- - we had a room next to the aircon unit (or it seemed like) which made it for a noisy stay - the hallway carpets looked like they could do with a good wash/scrub - the food in the breakfast bar was a bit uninspiring and of a basic range, the pre-prepared fruit a bit dry but even if you came down for some coffee, nothing else, you would still leave the dining area smelling of food, mostly fried due to the poor kitchen ventilation (?)

Great hotel, loved the nautical theme. Comfy beds and very nice breakfast. I was hoping to get a spa treatment but there are no online nooking options, so if you want to book I suggest you visit the spa.

My stay was nice. The only thing was that they didnt tell us that we have to pay for our parking untill after we checked out! The restaurant' s food was very good. It was just noisy from clients. My husband notice when we got my car back that there was a large, ugly rust stain on the roof by the passengers side. It was raining hard the 22 April and it must have dripped down from the roof. It was in the paint , i could' nt get it wiped of. and i was worried that i might need to spray the car. Luckily my husband works with cars so he could get it out. But please look at your roof; if the next dsy was sunny and it bakes in the car it will need to be resprayed.

Regrettably parking was not inclusive with your room rate as a you booked and paid for a room only rate, however, it is inexcusable that the receptionist did not advise you of this on check-in which is hotel standard. Thank you so much for bringing the roof of the basement parking to our attention, please be assured that this has been escalated to V&A Waterfront for their attention.
