Bel endroit sur la plage cependant, l'hotel a besoin de travaux. Lors de notre sejour, il y a eu de forts vents et la fenetre de notre chambre etait en tres mauvais etat de sorte qu'a chaque coup de vent, le bruit etait infernal...un chance le vent s'est estompe pendant la nuit sinon nous n'aurions pas eu de sommeil

The staff was attentive and kind. The breakfast was amazing and I loved the atmosphere of tea time. Overall an amazing place to stay. They have beach chairs, umbrellas and towels and bikes. You are right across from the beach, away from a lot of the downtown chaos. I would highly recommend.

Quiet street right across from ocean. Wonderful breakfast with many options. Afternoon tea and wine and cheese, served in afternoon. Bikes are available to ride into town .. very historic building adds to ambience.. make sure you hike the walking trails by lighthouse and go to Higbee Beach. Trails are in that area too (bring chairs from hotel) for beach relaxation … too many restaurants to choose. All were excellent ..

This place is the best Bed and Breakfast ever. It would be hard to beat them or even equal them. People who want to start or are now running a bed B&B should stay here to see how it is done properly. Place has a lot of charm, service is excellent. The staff really knows how to make you feel special. We will return there in the future,

The staff was outstanding; always pleasant, welcoming and ready to assist with any questions. The breakfast was great with plenty of variety of homemade foods. The pleasant surprise for us was the afternoon tea and the early evening wine and cheese.

Everything was good except the 3rd floor was extremely hot. We did not have a thermostat to turn down the heat. Sleeping that night, we had to turn the ceiling fan on high and we had to open up the windows. The management was closed, and we were out of luck. We would probably not go back.

My husband and i loved the hotel and staff. The facility is old so we were not surprised when some of the fixtures in the bathroom were old. We on the 3rd floor and if we return we will ask for a lower floor. They do not have an elevator and walking to the 3rd fl was a challenge. The bed was too high and we needed a stool to reach the bed and tub in the bathroom because both were too high for us. The place is very nice and the breakfast and afternoon snacks (with wine) was both great.

HUGE BED
Excellent check in. Very clear,helpful and informative. Bed was a HUGE king. Unusual wood ceiling. Plenty of hot water. Bed was so comfortable I spend 12 hours in the bed and did not try wine and cheese,or other food options.

Stayed a night at this property around Christmas and had a wonderful time. The property included bike rentals which we used to bike to the lighthouse and back.

The character of the B&B made me feel like I stepped back in time. It was quaint and peaceful and lovely. The breakfast, afternoon tea and evening wine and cheese was really lovely and gave us the opportunity to relax and meet other travelers. The staff was excellent and so friendly, I really did feel like our visit was appreciated.

Great Stay
Another great stay. As always, the bed linens smelled fresh and the room was spotless. The room was very cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent.

This was a delightful stop on our way south for Thanksgiving. A real Victorian experience, with afternoon tea, then later wine and cheese, and in the morning a delightful cooked breakfast all included. A contrast to the usual cookie cutter motels. The staff were friendly and gracious. We loved it.

It's a lovely hotel, some of the rooms could use a few repairs though. Nice wood work throughout and a real sense of history. The staff was friendly and helpful. Its close to the center of town and rigth next to the beach. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay again

A wonderful restoration of a1850 Victorian "cottage" house that was moved twice and rebuilt several times. https://www.angelofthesea.com/about-us/history Beautiful old wood cabinetry & bead board details, winding narrow stairs, (no elevators of course). Excellent staff, service, food (breakfast, high tea & wine & cheese daily), and lovely porches very close to the beach sand dunes.

Enjoyed the ocean view and how close restaurants and shops were. Easy bike ride, walk. No need to drive everywhere. Breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea and sweets were a nice treat. Also, the wine and cheese early evening was special.

It was a wonderful experience overall! From the friendly staff to the wonderful breakfast options to the ambiance! The rooms were a bit small, but it was so quaint, I didn't mind at all. Beautiful area, safe and lots of things to do. Loved they had bicycles we could use and explore the town. 5 Stars!!!
