Property listing clearly says “Daily Housekeeping”. We booked two rooms for three nights. Never received housekeeping for our entire stay. Complained each day at front desk. Each time they blamed Covid, new Hilton Policies, etc. We didn’t pay a discounted rate for discounted service. Therefore, why did we get discounted service. They also gave some nonsense about multiple night guests having to request service if they wanted it. WHAT A FLOP HOUSE! They promised me the hotel manager would call me but, alas, two weeks later I have yet to receive a call. Typical roadside hotel that needs serious renovation. Breakfast was typical as well. Staff in dining was pleasant. Drive on to Madison or Memphis if you can. One to be skipped.

They allowed us to check in early n I greatly appreciate that.. we were able to get breakfast that morning and the next. Staff was super friendly. The style is still the old layout, they could do some updates but overall it was a great stay.

It was a nice hotel located just off the highway so very convenient. I was a bit disappointed that the breakfast wasn’t being attended to and some food wasn’t available.

I have stayed at this property multiple times in the 2023 year and I'm starting to see a fade in customer service. The rooms seem to be okay but not being able to get towels on request, not following up on service issues, and unable to fix a tv unless you change rooms is an issue for me.

Very nice place slow service at breakfast
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean! The breakfast need to be improved, the quality was there but the service was so slow that everything was missing (eggs, yogourt, banana, bread…). We had to wait for everything and there were not a lot of clients. The hotel itself was great and the food (when available) was also very good quality.

The staff and hotel itself are fantastic. The room is comfortable and clean. The area is quiet. The breakfast and ladies that prepare and serve are wonderful. The area around the hotel is dated and adjacent hotels are of lower rating and quality. Overall I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay at Hampton Inn Canton, MS.

Very nice room. Plenty of space. The shower needs some work. It was impossible to get enough hot water through the shower so it was always lukewarm. Thus the four stars rather than five.

Checked in a touch after 11 pm was able to go straight to our room. We reserved a room with two queen beds and a hide a bed . Upon arrival, we pulled out the hide a bed and there were toenail clippings and it was stained up. We did contact the front desk. They told us to come back down and they would switch our rooms and it took about an hour to get a new room so by the time we got to our new room, it was 1 o’clock in the morning. The new room was a single king size bed with a hide a bed. As all the other double queens with hide a beds were booked. The clerk working that night was extremely helpful, but he was having a hard time with the computer systems. The next day we wanted to talk to the manager, but she was not going to be coming in until 9 AM. I did inquire about the price difference in rooms, but was never given an answer. We have yet to hear anything from them.

Weary Facility Begs for Renovations
As you drive up to the front entrance, the covered driveway is roped off because part of the roof is collapsing and hasn’t been repaired. Also, the hotel flag is shredded on its edges and looks ragged. Both give a bad impression of the weathered condition of the hotel. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and musty carpet. The bathtub had yellow ring stains at the drain and there were only two sets of towels provided though the reservation was for four people. The staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was great and the attendant on duty at 8:30 did an excellent job with customer service and provisions. Both night and day desk persons were friendly and very helpful. The facility needs some TLC and much needed inside and outside repairs/updating from the owners to improve customer satisfaction for the $149. nightly rate.
