Located in the heart of the city, everything was in walking distance with a large shopping centre nearby making it super easy for us to get around. Room size was generous for a family of 4 and whilst the facilities are a little run down, it was still clean and offered all of the amenities and needs that we required for our stay.

This place in a great location, room is clean. unfortunately all good things ends there. staff had trouble to find my booking, very noisy Saturday night inside and outside the hotel. Room is dated especially bathroom, definitely need some new towels, the current one is close to rags. The restaurant use to be good but not anymore. Shoestring fries are super dry and the soup has no taste.

Location was the best thing about this hotel, busy hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet is gluten-free friendly and foods are labelled which is nice with a separate gluten-free station and toaster. The rooms are very dated, however clean for what they are, cracked tiles in the bathroom. Barely existent water pressure and mould on bottom of the shower curtain. Service upon check-in from office manager was fantastic. However the service in the hotel was substandard at best- took over 25 minutes to get a coffee on the first morning, and even then we had to leave and never ended up getting it. On the second morning, it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and a further 15 to get a hot chocolate. Excessively slow . No concierge available at all to help with bags upon either check-in or check out. No one checked the booking notes either - (my daughter and husband have severe feather/down allergies and I’d requested and phoned the week prior to confirm that bedding without feathers would be used- they reassured me it would be fine) within minutes of our arrival my daughter needed to use her medication as she was finding breathing difficult. Room had 8 feather pillows and beds had feather doonas. Was very disappointed and probably won’t be returning. Waste of money for us.

Too warm.
Myself and several work colleagues stayed at the hotel and there seems to be problems with the air conditioning. It remained too warm for all of us to sleep at night in our individual rooms. The hotel was very apologetic and hope we return. I hope they get this fixed soon as it made it an uncomfortable stay.

Not so good stayed at this hotel many times over the years . Nothing has changed rooms haven’t been renovated same old bathrooms ( needless to say slipped in bath tub twice ) same old outdated taps etc . Lifts not working . Breakfast no variety very disappointed . Asked receptionist for a receipt when checking out that their was no monies owing gives me a receipt with my name on a hotel letter head with no description as to my stay at the hotel . Value for money very little . A very poor international hotel 3 out of 10

Large but well appointed property right near the centre of Civic. Had to pay for parking which was a bummer but had above ground parking as well which suited our over height vehicle.
