Accueil chaleureux, luxeux hotel tres spacieux que se soit au niveau des chambres que des espaces partager. Vu extrourdinaire sur le chateau du 18 eme siecle, et la mer.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön, hat einen tollen Pool und Strand. Insgesamt ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Blick auf das Schloss ist wunderschön. Unsere Suite war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Badezimmer und der Balkon boten viel Platz, jedoch ein paar der Möbel schon etwas verschlissen. Die Mitarbeitenden sind äußert freundlich und bemüht. Ein Großteil des Personals spricht kein oder nur sehr wenig englisch. Beim Abendessen gibt es kein Buffet sondern a la carte und die Menüauswahl war sehr einfältig. Es gab jeden Abend Fisch bzw. Tintenfisch. Vegetarische Alternativen wurden nur auf Nachfrage und auch dann sehr monoton geboten. An der Poolbar sind die Preise komplett überteuert. Alles wird auf Plastik- und Papier serviert und der Salat und das Sandwich waren ihren Preis auf keinen Fall wert (Salat sehr simpel und Toast durchnässt und mit rohen Tomaten)

The hotel is a well maintianed green environment. The fortress is also on its territory, but closed. The pool is simple but good, not heated, but still usable in October. The beach is sand and rocky, the bay is proof from waves. Premium suite is large with a big bathroom complex, but it has got a lot of small spots: no connector at the bed, small uncomfortable chars on the large balcony, no self/drawer in the large gardrobe, scanic recessed but unconfortable tub, dry-rotten wood surface. The HB is higly suggested. The food is good, wine/water is free for the diner.

The views are fantastic & the grounds, gardens are beautiful a very restful place to stay. Our suite was in the old house at the beach which was in a great position but sparsely furnished. The food in the restaurant is average all meals in a buffet style, the resort is geared to the all exclusive customer & there are many cards for towels, bar, rooms etc. The beach area is small & very rocky swimming is difficult, a short walk next to the resort to a sandy beach is a much better option. Special mention to the front house manager who was excellent by far the best employee.

Management assente...!
Hanno creato un mostro...un ibrido tra un resort ( la reale vocazione di questo luogo) e un villaggio vacanze...Una gran bella struttura in un posto incantevole svilita da un management assente...il pochissimo personale fa quel che può ma senza una valida direzione è allo sbaraglio: i bar in spiaggia ed in piscina inefficienti ( vi è il bagnino/barista che fa una apparizione fugace e poi sparisce)..., i gazebi, posizionati sui bei prati( arredati da salottini con cuscini " foderati" malamente da copertine di trapuntine), sporchi e abbandonati a se stessi; i bordi in legno della piscina seriamente danneggiati che mettono a rischio l'incolumità delle persone; colazione scarsissima degna di una pensioncina di provincia ed infine, pessimo ristorante...! Potrei continuare ma la sequela di cose negative potrebbe annoiare anche il lettore più curioso ed attento...!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit kleinem Privatstrand. Leider ist besonders der Bereich Richtung Strand sehr vernachlässigt und in die Jahre gekommen. Beachbar war zwar immer als offen ausgwiesen, jedoch war nie jemand vor Ort. Geschirr, Gläser, Beutelweise Handtücher standen am Weg und niemand hat es weggeräumt. :-( Sehr schade :-( Wäre auch schön gewesen, wenn kaputte Liegen repariert würden. Der Strandbereich und auch der Rest des Hotels war sehr sauber... leider schon 5 m neben dem Hotelstrand ich den Felsen massenweise Plastikmüll... Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und ausreichend, aber für 4**** hätten wir uns etwas andere Auswahl insbesondere bei Käse, Salat gewünscht. Ein Hotel in dem man in jedem Fall ein Auto benötigt. 1 angrenzendes Restaurant was durchaus auch für 1 oder 2 Besuche empfehlenswert ist.

Gentilissimo Ospite, grazie per dedicato del suo tempo per recensire il GH Falconara Resort. Faremo tesoro dei suoi consigli, anche se non ne comprendiamo bene il significato, perchè dalle sue parole sembra una meravigliosa struttura in generale, ma poi parla di ristrutturazione. Bellissima struttura male organizzata
Bellissima location, spiaggia privata molto tranquilla, bella anche la zona della piscina. Camera pulita e servizio in camera attento.Trovo vi sia una gestione molto approssimativa. Abbiamo pagato una tessera club per il servizio animazione della Nicolaus .. ma non ho capito di che animazione si trattava visto che questi ragazzi animatori si occupavano dei bambini e comunque se avessi voluto l'animazione sarei andata in un Villaggio turistico che per altro detesto. Il castello di Falconara bellissimo ma non si può visitare perché e abitato dalla baronessa, proprietaria anche del resort, ma lo apre solo per fare ricevimenti. Alla reception ho trovato una ragazza veramente scortese e poco disponibile. La sala colazione molto grande e ben fornita di dolce e salato ( ma sulla qualità delle torte e dei croissant ci sarebbe tanto da dire..) sicuramente non mi aspetto in un Resort 4 **** di trovare la macchina fai da te per il caffè o il cappuccino (solo una) che per altro funzionava malissimo e dovevi stare in fila per farti un caffè.

Gentilissimo Ospite, innanzitutto desideriamo ringraziarla per aver dedicato del suo tempo per compilare la recensione. Ci fa piacere che alcuni aspetti del nostro Resort via siano piaciuti, e ci dispiace che invece alcune cose non siano state di suo gradimento ma vorremo specificare dei dettagli anche per gli altri sopiti che leggono: La tessera club non è solo animazione ma un servizio spiaggia che le garantisce ombrellone, lettini fronte mare e teli. la macchina del caffè è per gli sopiti stranieri la quale la richiedono al momento della prenotazione, mentre la nostra caffetteria come ha visto a colazione e nei bar è espressa. Ci preme comunque ringraziarla faremo tesoro dei suoi consigli per continuare a migliorarci. Torni a trovarci presto, Grazie GH Falconara Resort

Perfect beach retreat
We had 5 nights at the end of our Sicilian holiday booked at the Falconara. The hotel is beautiful - and we were lucky to be upgraded to a seaview suite - which was stunningly beautiful. The hotel grounds are immaculate. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning is excellent, wide choice of everything. We had evening meals there, too, on a number of occasion and the food was excellent, though considerably more expensive than in other places nearby. The private beach is definitely an asset and it was great to just relax there for a couple of days.

Das Hotel liegt im Nirgendwo. Die Betreiber haben wohl mit der Saison abgeschlossen. Duschen am Pool ohne Funktion. Der Strand beim Hotel ist ein Witz und auf der Homepage wohl mit Photoshop nachbearbeitet. Kein Internet auf den Zimmern. Fazit viel zu teuer für diese Leistung, da gibt es eigentlich nur besseres.

Like in paradise!
Lavoro nel Turismo ed ero sul posto per una vacanza con il mio fidanzato. E' stata veramente una vacanza, avevamo bisogno "di staccare" il personale sempre disponibile e attento ci ha fatto sentire meglio che a casa. Cucina ottima. La spiaggia privata con acqua bassa e limpida è l'ideale per lunghe passeggiate e bagni rilassanti. La posizione: ottima base per visitare la Sicilia Greca e Barocca. La sto già consigliando ai parenti e amici sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita.

Mi era stato segnalato da un amico l'hotel si presenta molto bene ed è molto tranquillo nelle zone circostanti non c'è niente da vedere e la zona intorno è molto sporca. La grande pecca di questo albergo è la spiaggia che non esiste solamente una misera fila di ombrelloni. Mebtre delle foto si vedeva una spiaggia bellissima. Per il prezzo pagato potevo sicuramente stare meglio

Wir haben zum Ende unserer Sizilien Tour, drei Tage in dieser Anlage verbracht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, schöne Zimmer und toller Strand. Die Lage ist leider nicht so toll.

Overpriced, over-starred - poor food and service!
Overpriced! We visited in October, so out of high season. The sea was warm enough for swimming, but the beach was roped off as there was no lifeguard. There was no WiFi at all in the rooms. Free WiFi was available in communal areas, but that's just not good enough for a "4-star" hotel. There is a fixed menu, which we tried once. Perhaps we (and many others) were unlucky, but all courses were either bad or appalling! Breakfast was rather mediocre (tired looking sliced meats, stale bread, cheap packaged croissant/pastries, not very fresh sliced "fresh" fruit, service poor (25 minutes to toast 2 slices of bread). On this island of citrus plantations, the hotel served an over-diluted orange-flavoured sugary drink claiming it to be "orange juice" - again, not good enough for a "4-star" hotel. The air-conditioning in our room didn't work (room temperature 26 C) - it turns out later the relay in the room had been triggered and needed resetting. The receptionist (who spoke only poor English) said the air-con couldn't be looked at until the following day, as there were no staff, and that no other rooms were available. After insisting on a solution (I had to make 5 phone calls during the course of an hour, each time being told that the system had been re-set and now worked), another member of staff was finally found, came up to the room and was able to identify and fix the problem. This level of service is not acceptable, even in the humblest of hotels.

Fantastic place to relax. Superb service and food. We are only angry, that they upgraded our reservation from junior suite to superior room. We were not happy of it, because we get twice smaller room, than ordered.

albergo non all'altezza delle aspettative e del costo. direttore per niente disponibile alle necessita del cliente. matrimonio il giorno prima di ferragosto che si è protratto fino a tarda notte con notevole disagio per tutti gli ospiti. apertura della struttura al pubblico il giorno di ferragosto con conseguente affollamento della piscina e delle parti comuni.

Relaxed atmosphere
Vistelsen var toppen och vi kunde inte få bättre avslut på vår vistelse i sicilien. Perfekt och familjärt och mysigt hemtrevligt, perfekt ställe för avkoppling, inget för småbarnsfamiljen, men gillar du att få uppleva riktiga sicilien, med god mat och fräscha rum och superhärlig atmosfär, så är detta rätta stället för er, bara stanna och hänga eller ett ställe där man utgår från till nästa äventyr, ps,GPS kan vara en bra idé.

Lovely setting, shame about the hotel and staff!
A beautiful 5* location but somewhat let down by a hotel and staff that couldn't reach anywhere near the same standards! The room was large spacious and fairly clean except for the disgusting smell emanating from the bathroom. We had 2 suites as we went with family and their's was poor with the fridge not working and no aircon and a view of old unused building materials. We had a minibar but no bottle openers and despite several calls for a corkscrew and opener one never came. The receptionist english was poor so she resorted in putting the phone down on us! The sea view was the major plus with the holiday. Wifi is mentioned this is slow and only in public areas - there is not even an option to pay for wifi in the room. The pool and the 'pool bar' are unmanned - someone came down around 4pm each day but when we ordered a coffee it was like the machine hadn't been used in weeks and was disgusting! The food is good but menu limited and overpriced. The salads at lunch were excellent but despite asking each day for a club sandwich we were told the 'bread hadn't been delivered'! The breakfast was a wide selection but needless to say this is not a hotel I would recommend anybody stays at, especially families as the lack of safety around the pool despite signs coming lifeguards on duty from 9-1 and 3-5 there is nobody around. the hotel seems devoid of investment and the lack of staff in general ruins what is a very good location.

Magical time in Sicily
If you love Italy and the sea this is one of the most gorgeous places. Just spent 2 weeks at this warm, elegant resort with family in August. The service is excellent, , friendly, thoughtful, and first class. Our family room in the Fattoria was spacious + elegantly appointed -- great beds! Enchanting beach (with some rocks at the beginning, but ability to walk for 200 m) . The Castle romantically dominates the setting. On the other side of the Castle is an extraordinary sand beach. Fabulous food --- lunch and dinner in particular. Whenever you mentioned something needed fixing to the Director -- faster Internet, fruit at breakfast -- it was changed by the next day. Incredible customer service! Had a wonderful time!

der Empfang war sehr freundlich (Carmen und der Herr aus Köln). Von unserem Zimmer hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön, man kann das Meer und den grossen Pool geniessen. Ein paar Details, die stören: der Service im Restaurant ist verbesserungsfähig, das Personal teilweise unfreundlich, das Frühstück lieblos präsentiert, wenn der Campari am Vorabend ausgegangen war, war er das auch am folgenden Tag, unser Zimmer wäre gross genug für einen 2. Suhl gewesen, die Duschtücher wären besser platziert in der Nähe von Dusche/Bad als im WC.

schöne, ruhige Lage
Schönes Resort, das aber leider nur mittelmäßig gepflegt wird. Die Zimmerausstattung ist gut, aber auch hier zeigte sich, dass die Pflege und Reinigung zu wünschen übrig lässt. Bei den Preisen, die aufgerufen werden, ist dieser Zustand für einen mehrtätigen Aufenthalt nicht wünschenswert. Das Abendessen ist verhältnismässig teuer und kam leider auch mehrfach kalt auf den Tisch, was nach jeweiliger Reklamation behoben wurde. Wir haben auch mitbekommen, dass sich andere Gäste darüber beschwert haben. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort und dafür war es ok. Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr schön und ruhig. Gesamtbewertung deshalb leider auch nur befriedigend.

Prima hotel, mooi gelegen met uitzicht op oud kasteel. Heerlijk strandje voor het hotel ook met uitzicht op het kasteel. Mooie ruime tuin met zwembad, tennisbaan en zitjes. En een mooie Spa. Enige nadeel: geen andere restaurants op loopafstand (behalve een eenvoudig wegrestaurant).

L' albergo che appartiene alla categoria 4 stelle, di fatto, struttura a parte, potrebbe essere equiparato ad un 3 stelle per cio' che riguarda la gestione e l'organizzazione dello stesso. Dal mio punto di vista la tariffa richiesta per il pernottamento con prima colazione inclusa e' assolutamente spropositata in relazione ai servizi che offre l' hotel ( solo un cambio di federe in una settimana senza cambio di lenzuola, carenza di asciugamani, barman spesso irreperibile, gestione del ristorante caotica, impossibilita' di utilizzare la carta di credito per il pagamento....) Alcuni clienti, tornati perche' entusiasti della precedente gestione, sono rimasti profondamente delusi e a loro dire non torneranno.... Un vero peccato!!!!!

Ottima posizione, stupenda struttura sul mare, cucina buona. Unico neo un po' di disorganizzazione nella gestione della sala ristorante/ colazione.

Alles in allem war unser Urlaub im falconara sehr angenehm und erholsam. Der Service lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Einige Dinge wie die Klimaanlage, der Fernseher, oder der Föhn gingen nicht richtig. Auch auf wiederholte Nachfrage war das Personal nicht motiviert die Fehler zu beheben. Auf Reklamation wird motzig oder gar nicht reagiert. Beim essen gibt es abgesehen vom teuren, täglich wechselnden Menü wenig Auswahl. Wünsche können nicht berücksichtigt werden. Im Hotel kann es hektisch und chaotisch werden und auch die Nachtruhe fehlt manchmal, aber die Anlage und vor allem der Strand entschädigen für einiges.
