Hotel passable, pas tres propre, linge de bain sale. Sinon, la literie était bonne et comme nous etions situés au 3ieme bâtiment, nous étions au calme. Pas de wifi ! Bof bof

Merci pour votre retour! nous visons à plaire et aurions été heureux de résoudre tout problème présenté en notre capacité. Nous avons une nouvelle direction et du personnel qui ont tous commencé au cours des 2 dernières semaines. Nous sommes impatients de mettre à jour cette propriété en résolvant les problèmes esthétiques et en ajoutant le chauffage central et l'air. Ce week-end était une mise à niveau du WiFi car la société Internet locale travaillait sur des pannes dans toute la zone en installant des lignes de fibre optique. Nous espérons que vous reviendrez pour voir la croissance que notre marque historique a à offrir.

Do not stay here. Our room smelled horrifying and the bathroom was full of mold. They took a 150 dollar deposit i was not told about before booking and have still not given it back. Save your money and dont stay here

Room was clean could use some updating. Noticed patches around the window that needs finished. Great water pressure and the tub drained. Shower head could of been higher on the wall. My husband had to duck . The bed however was the most uncomfortable ever. All in all not to bad.

The room was cold, the heater was old and was very noisy when it came on. I turned the heater down but it came on during the night and woke me up. I was also cold in the bed

The room itself was clean, but the pet walking area with tipped over cigarette buckets was gross. Looks like some improvements are in the works, though. Also, some people who may live in some rooms parked precariously in an exit area.

i want to apologize about the buckets, they are cleaned out every other day, and as for the people who are staying at the end of the tier, have been placed here through DHS, i had no idea they had 2 different cars, i apologize

It’s an older hotel for sure. Inside was decent. Bed was comfortable. Book online didn’t see a pet fee and got charge for it. Which is fine I understand. But it should be very clear. One thing that need improvement was front desk. The women who started helping us was great. Then a man took over, he wasn’t friendly or more like very welcoming at all. Didn’t like that.

The pet fee is explained on the reservation during your booking.. we also have the policy stated on the front counter as shown when you arrived. the reason i wasn't friendly is because you proceeded to tell me I was wrong when everything stated under our policy is explained in black and white on the website and our front desk... you refused to acknowledge this many times after explaining it to you.. so I apologize and I'm glad you had a great stay

We have extra blankets if requested. I am sorry you had a bad stay. we also have extra heaters just in case you are cold. as for the bed, we are working on getting new mattresses and apologize for the uncomfortably..

Front office staff was great. I could tell they were trying to make improvements from my last stay 2 years ago. Although the door could have easily been kicked in by the gap inside. (Husband is in construction). Coming from a very rural area I felt a little uncomfortable with the walking traffic through the parking lot. We had our dogs so I wasn't worried too much. Before going out to dinner the resident next to us asked if he gave us $100 if we would go get an Amazon card for him. We immediately declined as that seems to be a scam of sorts. Kinda sketchy.

we apologize about the guest next door.. we have told him a few times about bothering the guests. We have been very stern about keeping the traffic through our front parking area to a minimum. As for the door, it was just replaced and has no gaps from the inside.. the weather stripping kept it a little tight from the door frame. we apologize for any uncomforting you might have experienced.. thank you for the review

The staff was amazing in that they stayed available an hour and a half beyond their office closing hour to check my sister and I in. We had been car camping for the last 4 days so we’re really looking g forward to a shower and warm, comfy bed. The shower looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There was hair, a layer of dirt and a bug inside of it. Neither of us felt comfortable using it without shoes on. There was also hair scattered throughout the bathroom and the floors felt like they also hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It was nice to sleep inside and the location was convenient, although noisy, but it was definitely a “you get what you pay for” hotel.

I am very sorry to hear your stay was unsatisfactory. I wish you would have said something to us while you were here for the two days. We would have changed your room or come out immediately to clean to make the stay more comfortable. I know all the rooms get inspected after they are cleaned so I am not sure how we missed all the problems. I will be making my housekeepers aware of the complaint and as the managers will be triple-checking rooms to make sure this doesn't happen again. Again I apologize for the dirty bath and room

This visit was far better than my previous visit where the staff was not very nice and drug dealers were operating out of a few rooms. This visit found new managers to be pretty cool and very accommodating. The price was great even though it is a budget motel. The only complaint I have is being charged by the night for a pet but they do not clean rooms during the stay so a one-time fee would be more appropriate.

I had one very slight problem and that was it was a bit chilly in our room...we didn't have a heater.

we apologize for the heater problem, we do have extra heaters and blankets in case u needed them. we are trying to improve the heaters in the room to central heating and air.. so hopefully your next stay will be alot warmer.

We stay here often, always have a nice stay. Only complaint this time is the room we got the bed was worn, lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Not only did I but so did my oldest wake repeatedly with pain from it

Old motel needs a facelift
This motel needs an overhaul. It is quite old; the bottom of the bathroom door was all peeling (possible water damage?), the metal cabinet below the bathroom mirror was corroded and had no sliding door anymore, the light plug behind the bed didn't work well, there were bashed-in corners of the walls and coving, there were bathtub chips & marks. The desk staff was quite friendly, and the bed was comfy.

we are currently remodeling the hotel one room at a time.. I apologize for the cosmetic damages as they are being fixed.. i hope next time you will stay with us again to see the improvements.. thank you for staying with us.

The room was very small. TV does not work and shower from next room can be heard from our room. Very, very noisy, couldn’t get any sleep.

All of our king rooms are the same size.. so spaciousness is not something we can change for that type of room.. during your 4-day stay we were not aware of the TV.. when TV turns on it is set to default. source needed changed to HDMI. we appreciate your business and hope you will stay with us again

Have realistic expectations!
It served it's purpose as a budget-friendly motel. The room had everything I needed for a one-night stay. Wasn't expecting 5-star accommodations or amenities, so I wasn't disappointed. The front desk was friendly and room was clean.

You are correct updates are needed and we are currently in the process of working on these updates. I am refurbishing the tubs and showers, putting new sinks and mirrors in the bathrooms, updating the furniture, painting the entire room, and fixing damage to walls and baseboards. We are also getting a new tv provider who will be installing their equipment in the next week. Then looking at larger TV for each room. I hope if ever back in Brookings you stop and stay again

Great place to stay, only real complaint was the door to the room did not have great weather-sealing and caused it to be a little bit chilly on a December night. Front desk was very helpful and polite, Josh was extremely helpful.
