Great place for the price

Great place for the price. We got a one bedroom condo for The price of a mediocre Hotel. Jetted tub was excellent, and had plenty of hot water to fill the tub completely up. The place is basically in the middle of everything. Will definitely stay there again.

Siblings Take on Branson

Les + : Set up of the rooms and the location to the towns attractions
Les - : Couches and chairs are well worn thus losing comfort. Mini maintenance items such as one of the toilets would stay running after flushing if you didn
Situation : Branson's many shows are only a couple blocks away. Two wineries within walking distance. Shopping vey close, also.
Our family rented a 3 bedroom condo and 2 additional 1 bedroom suites to accommodate 10 adults ranging from 62 to 85. The location of the rooms to one another did meet our requests. The price was fair and the set up of the rooms was well thought out. Our only complaint is that after booking a 3 night stay, the residents of the 3 bedroom suite were locked out of the suite on the 3rd night. In that suite we had 1 on oxygen and 2 who have trouble walking and/standing. To return from an evening show at 10:30 PM and have none of the 6 keys work in the suite's door was inconvenient to say the least. We called the front desk and they did send security over within 5-10 minutes. However this man was rude and accusatory. The first thing he said to us was 'where are YOUR keys?' When we said they did not work he told us they would not work if the deadbolt was on. We explained the deadbolt could not be on if we were all out side. When he finally tried the keys and found we were correct, he did not apologize for his accusatory tone or rudeness and acted put out that we expected him to bring us new key cards so we could come and go from the room that evening and the next morning! Some of our party stayed at this same resort in September and they had a similar problem of their key cards quitting working in the door before the scheduled end of their stay.

Nice hotel

Satisfied with the price and the overall room. The hide-a-bed couch was like sleeping on springs covered by a sheet, so 3 nights on that didn't make for a restful or comfortable sleep.

Condo stay

Les + : Location. Room sizes and set up. The convenience of connected units.
Les - : Maintenance items. Better couches and chairs in the units.
Situation : Shows, shows and more shows! Wineries to visit. Silver Dollar City. Shopping.
There were 10 adults in our group requiring 5 bedrooms. Surrey was able to do this keeping us in 1 building and in close proximity to one another. Furnishings were more than adequate and rooms were clean. Some minor maintenance issues - dripping faucet, toilet that you had to watch or it would continue to run - and the chairs and couches were beginning to lose their comfort. However, it was roomy and well appointed with what is needed for a few days stay. Only real issue was that 3 rooms (holding 6 adults) locked us out after 2 of our 3 night stay. The key cards simply would not work when we returned from a show at 10:30 PM. Very inconvenient when our group included severL over 80 with health issues! We called and security arrived to let us in. His first words were "Where are all of your keys?" We had already tried all 6 keys and they did not work., as we had already told him. He then tried the keys, to no avail. He then suggested we had extended our stay from the original reservation, which was not the case. I felt the security man was rude and insulting in his treatment and when he saw that our keys would not work as we said he didn't apologize for his attitude. Getting locked out was inconvenient but would not deter me from staying at Surrey again. The treatment we received from Security will make me think twice as there are many, many places to stay in the Branson area.

2 bedroom 2 bath condo close to the strip.

Lots of space, a little outdated. Great pool and hottub. Nice to have a kitchen and more space for the same price as a regular hotel room. Check in was a little long and was across the street, but there wasn't much pressure to attend the seminar.

Great location, clean room

Les + : Location was great, staff was helpful
Les - : Either inform your guests upfront that they will be in a handicap room without a shower, and let them choose if they want it, or don't assign it.
Situation : Across the street from the Stone HIll Winery, with the yellow route as access to eveything on the strip.
We reserved a 2 BR 2 BA condo for Dec 5 - 7. We were disappointed to find that we had been given the handicap room after realizing the master did not have a shower, only a jet tub. This was very inconvenient because we had 6 people plus a baby to bathe. Which is why we wanted a 2 X 2. The property itself is nice, great location, easy in and out. Staff was helpful and brought extra blankets within 10 minutes of calling. Lots of amenities on the property, though we were out and about and did not use them. Indoor and outdoor pools, play areas, gym.

It was Nice but Disappointing.

Les + : Location. The rooms made me feel like I was in a house. (Good thing)
Les - : Put a mirror on the door so that I could see to comb the back of my hair. Also an attached makeup mirror. Breakfast for the guests would of been nice.
Situation : Great location. Very close to all the shows that I had booked.
Disappointed because coffee pot was not working properly and nearly took 2 hours to get a new one. (Not good). Disappointed because we could turn the tv on but could not shut off with remote. Had to get up and turn off from the set. Regular size bed. I requested two but only got one. Really? It wasn't even queen size. We've been sleeping on a king size bed for many years. and to come to a hotel and get regular sized bed? You could imagine how miserable we were throughout our stay. I couldn't move an inch in the bed. BUGS in the room. They were long skinny ones. I had my husband kill two of them. Needs to be sprayed. I freaked. Will I ever stay here again? Of course not. Bad experience.
