« My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....

« We really enjoyed our stay here! The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful view from the porch. We spent most of our time at the cottage on the porch, watching the boats come and go. There were ospreys nesting nearby and it was awesome to watch them. The cottage was just enough space for the two of us. « The title and description are spot on, this is a vintage home with every amenity we needed for a long weekend exploring Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so did not use the bunk beds tucked into the first floor alcove, and planned to spend most of our time out & about. It was a perfect location for us. »

« Trouble with entering the cottage via key-lock system/mechanism, it is a bear to learn and to operate! Local rep had to come over to do for us. Please consider another entry and lock method. Elsewise, nice location, quiet neighborhood, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the place. Kitchen also fairly well stocked for cooking and serving. »

« Nice little cabin that’s close to town. The only thing is that it’s within 500 ft of multiple other cabins so there’s no privacy. “Private beach” means beach you have to wonder around to find. There’s no water view from this cabin, or anywhere to sit outside and even have a little fire. The walk up to cabin is steep, so just be aware! They’re no railing, it’s just rocks and tree roots, so sort of unstable. The cabin itself is nice. It’s your typical Maine cabin. There’s a tv with spectrum cable...
