The hotel appeared clean initially but unfortunately a live bed bug was found on the pillow in my daughter’s bed. We took the bug to the front desk and requested a new room on a different floor which we were given by an apologetic employee. During the night a hotel employee knocked on our door at 1:30am asking if everything was ok. Apparently they had received a call saying someone was locked in the room. Unfortunately we got very little sleep during our stay.

This looked much nicer in the pictures. The staff was super nice. The pull out couch was dirty, things under it and on the back of it. The smell of the skunk weed all night was almost unbearable.

Had truck parking and there was a restaurant in walking distance that was phenomenal! Had onsite laundry and the desk clerk even had change That is important for someone traveling with a trailer and not wanting to drive to dinner or around to get change.

We travel the entire lower 48 for our business and we always stay here when we go through Blackwell. It’s always been a wonderful experience especially for the price, except this last visit. We checked in later than we usually do. First there was no staff at the front desk. I could hear her working in the kitchen area. I rang the bell. Waited. No one coming. I rang the bell at least 4 more times. After 15 minutes, I walked toward the kitchen and called out for help. Apparently I was a bother because the employee seemed to be very annoyed that I was disrupting her other duties. Didn’t appreciate being greeted the way I was greeted. Not sure we will be back to this particular hotel

it was just ok.....carpet, paint and bth need updating. Security big issue lock on "outside" door was broken so anyone could come in at any time. Breakfast not as listed...very limited and coffee and juice machines broken. No eggs, meat, fruit, etc.

Great Brand
This was the second sleep in we stayed at on a road trip. This brand did not disappoint . I had my small pups with me and loved the cleanliness, updated decor, and complimentary breakfast. It had two waffle makers. One was the regularand the other 4 individual ones made together. I loved how easy it was to hop off and on I-35 with food options around.

Will Not Stay There Againn
Got in late. Staff was not very friendly and told us where our room was. But it was completely on the other end of the hotel than what was said. The comforters were dirty, and there was something pretty gross and chunky looking on the throw blanket (picture below). Brown stains all over some of the pillowcases. One bed had four pillows. The other had three pillows. The TV remote did not work and the DIRECTV was not even hooked up so we had to mess with that late at night. No ice bag for the ice bucket. Was basically only carbs and not very desirable. Basically the hotel just kind of grossed us out. Was not awful, just not great. We definitely would not stay there again.

The room was not very clean. Gross brown stuff on the wall. Sheets had stains and the shower had a Busch light can in it when we arrived. No soap was provided. Said they had essentials like toothpaste and they were out of stock.

This is where we always stay going back and forth to Nebraska from Texas. The price makes it easy to over look some of the small issues. It is clean. Comfortable. Breakfast is adequate. Not going to be fancy.
