Both Superior and Deluxe rooms feature modern décor, and include desks and white-tile bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. “Très favorable”

Très bon hotel renové il y a peu de temps,il est situé dans le quartier très commerçant de Charlottenburg, proche d'une station de RER et de metro, l' Alexanderplatz y est à 15 min

“Hôtel exclesior Berlin”

Je ne vois pas comment cet hôtel a pu obtenir 4*. Certes le lobby est joli et bien agencé mais par contre la chambre était vétuste ! Fenêtre qui fermait mal, vent qui s'engouffrait dans les fissures, bruit de la rue terrible, chambre très petite et le seul meuble pour poser ses affaires était très abimé. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Quartiers recommandés

De nombreux musées sont à qq stations de métros ou en bus (direct) près d'Alexanderplatz. Allez visiter le chateau de Charlottenburg (très rapide en bus M45 depuis la sation Zoogarden à 2 pas de l'hôtel). Faites la promenade en bateaux mouche (nbreuses cies) sur la Spree. Voir la porte de brandebourg et le Berliner dome. N'oubliez pas le shopping un peu partout dan la ville etc...

“Comfortable hotel with friendly, competent staff”

I was very impressed with the Excelsior. The staff were superb - friendly, competent and accommodating. Rooms clean and bright. Breakfast varied and good. Would certainly return.

Both East and West parts of Berlin have historic gems. City lively but not too loud. Aquarium disappointing.

“I liked it a lot”

A very smart and well turned out hotel, with friendly staff, clean rooms and great food. 2 mins walk to the Zoological Gardens (Zoologischer Garten) train station. For Both train and underground services. Just round the corner from a busy and vibrant shopping district. One main tip is if your flying in to Schönefeld Airport DO NOT GET A TAXI to this hotel which will be 45 Euros. Just get a train to the Zoological Gardens (Zoologischer Garten) and its 3 euros! Half hour free internet a day is a bit tight in this day and age though...

“Noisy hotel rooms with very poor water pressure in the bathroom”

My worse shower in the world, no water pressure in the bathroom, especially not hot water!!!! I advise the receptionist the 1st day I've arrived but nothing was done to repair it, and they even did not offered to change room. Really nice entrance and bar, but room are extremely noisy at night, not really a place to relax after a long day of sighting in Berlin.

“Great Choice when in Berlin”

Great hotel, great location. The restaurant on the expensive side, but there is plenty of places at walking distance. Transportation to anywhere close by (train and buses). Would definitely return.

Berlin is a wonderful city with so much to see. MUST: Grunewald Train Station - Gleis 17, Jewish Museum, Babel Platz, Topography of Terror, The missing house, Statue of the Woman, East Side Gallery, Museum Island, Unter den Linden, Brandenburg gate,.Take a break to enjoy coffee and apple strudel at Einsteins Cafe (the best I ever had). If you have time take a day-trip to Postdam. One important advise: All the signs in all the touristic places are in German only. We took a guide, even thou it was not cheap, and it was worth every cent.
