« We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is private, cosy and very comfortable. The view and surrounding countryside is stunning and so peaceful. It feels remote and far from everything, just the ticket for a quiet weekend away and yet it's a short drive to the nearest village and very close to Bath. We loved it and will look to return very soon. »

« Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you! »

« Loved our stay at this perfect accommodation and the hosts could not be more welcoming. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Bath and the train station was a 3 min walk. There is a wonderful pub just down from the apartment that had the best breakfast and an Indian rewrite some of the best Indian ever. The grocery across the street was perfect for grabbing groceries as well. Would 100% recommend. »

« The host has thought of everything! It is truly a home from home (but this place has far better decor than my home!) Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. »

« Perfect size property for a group of ladies in our 40s to get together and celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding. Individual beds and bathrooms in each room made it all the more comfortable. Good size property - not too big but big enough for everyone to be together. Clean property, well stocked kitchen for entertaining. « We had a wonderful stay at Francesca's House, thank you so much for the thoughtful bottle of wine and the biscuits, we enjoyed them both! The location and accommodation was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well supplied and I really like the lounging area. Altogether perfect! The only issue was the lateness of the access information but when explained that the info was given out on the day of arrival all went smoothly. Thank you Francesca, we will be back!😀 »

« Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay »

« The weather was not particularly kind to us during our stay so the property's great location helped enormously in keeping us dry (being literally metres from the Roman Baths, the Abbey and Heritage Centre). With five adults and two teenagers the property's size accommodated us all easily. Paul was very welcoming and despite the weather we all enjoyed our stay. »

« This was a charming place in the heart of the city. Yes it is loud at nights so if you're bothered by noise this place is not for you. This place also does not have an elevator, so if you have heavy suitcases and have problems carrying them up flights of stairs, again this place is not for you. We found the place, spacious and the location idea. There's plenty of great restaurants nearby and all the highlight places to visit are just minutes away by foot.
