Des vacances de rêves
Nous avons terminé notre tournée de la côte est avec un arrêt à Port Harbour, un ami m'avait avisé de le faire et c'était génial, un bijou d'endroit! Nous avons vraiment aimé l'endroit. Ce n'est pas pour tous les budgets, car l'endroit en général est très dispendieux, de l'autre côté de la rue il y a un charmant restaurant, vous devez prendre un "blueberry mojito". Au restaurant de l'Hôtel (Paddy's) les déjeuners sont excellents, mais $$$ et si vous avez un chien l'endroit est idéal pour eux partout à Port Harbour!

Best hotel in bar harbor. Loved every aspect of the place. The ac didnt stay or even go on at night. And there where no firm pillows only soft. But either way had a great experience and wouldnt stay anywhere else. Looking forward to returning. Oh room service stoos at 10PM not 11pm like the menu states. 👍👍

Wonderful Hotel
We enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor at the West Street Hotel. First class accommodations. Loved the pantry on each floor and enjoyed the adult rooftop pool area and the access to the amenities across the street. Will definitely come back.

Nice hotel close to harbor
Positive: Clean room with a beautiful harbor view. Location was wonderful. Negative: The pantry did not restock the coffee capsules over Memorial Day weekend. The staff were inexperienced and did not know much about the property. The facility fee was 25 per day and the fee allowed usages to the exclusive harbor side club. Unfortunately the club was not nearly ready for guests. Hot tub was cold and swimming pool was dirty with leaves and dead bugs in the pool. There were no towels in the shower/changing room. Sauna was only for SPA guests and required additional fees. The fee was excessive with level of service and conditions of the facility.

Close to attractions but overpriced
Given the high costs ($419/night and $25/night for resort fees), we expected spectacular facilities and services, but this experience was comparable to experiences at less expensive hotels. They have an infinity pool that overlooks the harbor, but it is small. We were told that we could use the sister hotel's facilities. Again for the price, I expected soft towels (extremely rough), slippers with my robe, turn down service (available but you have to request it). If the rate was more moderate, would not have these expectations.

Comfortable and a Great Location in Bar Harbor
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the West Street Hotel! This was our first trip to Bar Harbor and we booked based on online recommendations and we weren't disappointed. The location is very convenient right on the waterfront and the staff was very attentive. We were We extended for an extra day and the staff was very efficient about handling our extended stay and keeping us at the same rate as our original booking. I travel often for business and pleasure and this was a very pleasant experience...We will stay here again!

Beautiful view from our balcony! We got an upgrade which was really nice. The staff was very helpful & extremely nice! The amenities were amazing! I would definitely stay there again!

Large pool / hot tub were across the street at other facility. Long street walk in your robe. There's a side building and mani building. Get yourself in the main building. Highly recommend it. A bit pricey

Great location & staff
We spent 5 days at the hotel while visiting Bar Harbor & Acadia NP. It's the perfect location if you want to be on the water while also close to the park, which was our main goal when searching for a place to stay. The hotel is very nice and the staff is tremendous. The pantry (water, ice, coffee, fruit and cookies) located on each floor is a wonderful amenity as is the laundry room. Both are super clean and convenient. My only complaint is the additional $25.00 charge each day for the Bar Harbor Club. We didn't have great weather for 2 days, so swimming was not an option, and most of our free time was spent at Acadia on the remaining days. We used the pool one day but paid $125.00 for it. I think the charge should be on a daily as used basis and not a flat fee. The club itself is beautiful and we loved the time we spent there and would be happy to pay the fee, if we were actually using it. Had I realized we were being charged extra for the club (which very well may have been stated and I missed it) I certainly would have planned to spend time there swimming/playing tennis on one of the nice days. Parking is also conveniently located just behind the hotel, which is necessary in the area. All and all, we loved our stay and would recommend the hotel and the Bar Harbor/Acadia area in general.

A very nice hotel with excellent location. Ask for delux room the shower is very nice and desirable. Cool rooftop with pool and seating areas.

Spacious, new rooms. Really appreciated the pantry with complimentary coffee, bottled water, fruit and the complimentary laundry facilities. Would definitely stay here again!

Vi bestilte suite med STOR verandaen som gikk rundt 2 av sidene av suiten. Utsikten var fantastisk over havneområdet og livet nederst i "byen". Sengene (kinesiske) var akkurat passe harde og ungene trygt plassert i et annet rom med eget bad. Hele hotellet var delikat dekorert i amerikansk maritim stil. Betjeningen var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Hotellet hadde fått topp score om rommet var kontrollert på forhånd. Etter de forrige gjestene var nemlig begge sakene låst, telefonledningen var dratt ut og det ene oppholdsrommet var ikke gjort skikkelig rent på gulvet. I tillegg ble vi ikke ved reservasjon fortalt at det lille bassenget på toppen av hotellet hadde 18 års grense (kan sikkert være et pluss for noen). Vi fikk anledning til å benytte en health club 4 kvartaler unna. Det gjorde vi ikke, men ble allikevel belastet for $25 i club fee. Men for all del, her kan vi komme tilbake (og nyte den gode live underholdningen i den irske puben i 1. etasje)!

We loved this hotel, it provided all the comforts of a luxury hotel. The staff were phenomenal. I loved the laundry room and snacks . I would highly recommend the West Street, the location is perfect!

Excellent hotel for traveling families. Common pantry area with coffee, fruit, and complimentary water on each floor. Washing machines and driers for laundry. Great food nearby with acess to the harbor directly across the street. Pool and spa nearby at the Harborside hotel were great too. Easy drive to Acadia NP. Two connecting king rooms excellent for family of 4-5. We could not have been more impressed!

Fabulous boutique hotel with outstanding service
Wow! From the minute we walked into the door we felt right at home and were treated like royalty. This is a gem of a hotel, and is a great value, no matter the cost. Every associate was outgoing, professional and aimed to please. The hotel was well appointed, elegant and contemporary, yet had a Maine feel about it. There were so many extras included in the resort fee....big bowls of Hershey kisses throughout the lobby, free water bottles, coffee, fresh fruit, sweets at night, valet parking, and use of the gorgeous Bar Harbor Club. Plus a great health club on sight. The location was perfect, views spectacular, roof top pool beautiful, but children under 18 had to use the Bar Harbor Club across the street. All other hotels we stayed in could not measure up. We can't wait to return.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! Beautiful views of the water and super close to the best shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. The room was spacious with a great view of the harbor. The complimentary water, coffee, fruit, and cookies was a definite plus.

Very nice hotel! Staffs are friendly. Good condition.Little pricy but worth. Only concern is that you need to make sure the rooms are close if you book multiple rooms. Otherwise I would give 5 stars for all.

Went to Bar Harbor & Acadia for early summer trip with wife & dog. The stay at West Street was perfect. Very cute & comfortable, boutique feeling, very dog friendly hotel in an amazing location in Bar Harbor. Very clean & comfortable. The pantry on each floor was surprising amenity. Fully stocked with bottles of water (grab a couple before heading to Acadia). Keurig coffeemaker with sugars & half & half. Fruit in the morning. And really good cookies at night. These little touches add a lot to the experience. I held back one star for service just because they didn't have a couple of items that most 4+ star hotels would (needed a sewing kit). But staff is very friendly & professional. Planning on coming back next year & will definitely stay at West Street. And will book Water View rooms. Morning coffee on balcony facing the harbor must be amazing.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. It is definitely worth getting the ocean view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location couldn't have been better. Free parking is always a plus and it was a close drive to Acadia National Park. I only wish the pillows weren't twin size, but otherwise we were very comfortable. The rooftop pool is for 18 plus; but the pool at the club is kid-friendly and I loved the spa there as well.

Great Location!
While visiting Bar Harbor this month, we stayed one night at at West Street Westin. It was a great stay! The hotel is right on the harbor and within walking distance of all the restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable! Sitting on the balcony and looking out over the harbor and ocean was very relaxing! I looked forward to booking the West Street Hotel again in the future!!

Beautiful hotel in perfect location with great amenities. Breakfast and dinner restaurants within easy walking distance and very abundant. Great restaurant on site of hotel. Access to spa and other amenities at sister hotel across the street. Shopping on site and easy walking distance. Beach walk is across the street. Free laundry facilities in the hotel, as well as snack stations on each floor with water, coffee and fruit supplied.

Originally planned on staying one night, but after being upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking West Street and the harbor; we extended our stay. I don't have a bad thing to say. Everything was clean, plenty of parking in a private lot, in a great location. I can definitely see us staying there on our next trip to Bar Harbor.

Hotel has a pantry on each floor for coffee, tea, fruit, etc. Nice feature. One caution: like many resorts today, you get a mandetory "resort" fee for services you may or may not use. So price will be $25 a day more than advertised.
