The location was great — right on the harbor. The room was clean and modern and the bathroom was nice and big. That said, check-in was very slow and our room wasn’t ready until at least check-in time (4 pm). The downstairs “cafe” is really just a bar with a few high-top tables and limited food options and that point was moot because it wasn’t open. The restaurant on the 5th floor was kind-of run-down — the leather on the chair was all cracked and peeling. I expected to get the dinner menu since it was 5:30 and at least hoped to get some seafood. Seeing as we were in Baltimore, crab seemed like something good to eat. But the menu was limited to burger, wings or pizza. The only other option was the buffet which was oddly all Indian food. It was extremely hot when we were there and having walked a mile or so to Fell’s Point and back, we were too hot and tired to go outside of the hotel for dinner. But it would probably have been a more enjoyable meal if we had.

Nice hotel, nice location But the staff is terrible unprofessional and not able to check you in in an appropriate time. It took me almost half an hour to check in. Also there was a conference in the hotel and the 4 elevators for 12 floors were constantly blocked. So it took me another 20 minutes just to get to my room. Also it’s very hard to find a grocery store in Baltimore.

Very noisy area. Didn't like that the cafe employee didn’t show up so they had no coffee etc for anyone in the morning to purchase. Also didn’t like that parking was a separate cost on top of hotel rate that I paid

I can’t comment on the facilities as my reservation was cancelled 30 minutes before check-in on a weekend of a bug event in Baltimore, leaving me to scramble to find another hotel in a less desirable location

I loved the staff. Very friendly. I didn't like how far I had to walk from the elevators to my room. It was the longest walk I think I have ever had in one hotel ever.

It was an amazing place to stay. Across the street from the inner harbor. Everyone was extremely helpful and very nice. The bathroom supplies were empty shampoo/ soap. Not necessarily what you look for until you need it. The club room was empty except for a couple of drinks and we missed breakfast and there was nothing to eat. Besides those couple of issues it was a great place and a great time!

This property has so much potential because it is a Marriott hotel situated across the street from the Inner Harbor. Keep your expectations low until the staff gains some professionalism and is trained that guests are paying for hospitality, not rudeness or attitude. Upon our arrival, we were told that we had to pay for valet parking, but when he realized that we were paying guests, his tune changed and he told us where to park, etc. Hustle much? We arrived early, but Kiki at the Bon Voyage desk was ripe with attitude when telling me (and other guests) that check-in was at 4p. There was literally no exception to this rule, even though families with young kids were lining up at the front desk 15-30 minutes before 4p. The rugs and sofas in the lobby were filthy. The room was comfortable, but the sink drain was extremely slow draining and the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on. We are grateful this property allows pets, yet the green areas for the pets' relief needed mowing and sanitary clean up. Lastly, I noticed that the charges on my credit card did not align to Expedia's online rate including tax. When I asked the guy at the front desk, he seemed bothered, and incorrectly said it was incidentals that will be removed from my account at departure. His laziness and lack of helpfulness caused me to have to contact Marriott and Expedia. The restaurant staff were the only friendly and helpful people that we encountered. Keep expectations low and you'll be fine

Great location, but hotel itself was not clean. The pool was filthy and disgusting. There is no bathroom or changing room in the pool area. One elevator to which you have to walk for 5 minutes just to go up or down.

Front desk staff has terrible attitude. I don't know how they are even hired for a "hospitality" role. They oversold rooms and switched our room type without even mentioning to us. We only found out when we got to the room and found a single bed instead of two. Pool water is very cloudy.

The main issue at this hotel is overbooking. I had a reservation. They had my money. They made me wait for 2.5 hours in the lobby and I still had to ask for a room. I overheard the manager yelling at someone who was demanding his room so I saw no point in talking to him. Every time I wanted on line, they said 45 mins to an hour and the manager will call me when my room was ready. They almost gave me a room w a Murphy bed but it was scooped up before she could give it to me. I finally got a room but it spoiled my night. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel. Great location. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Be sure to turn off alarm clock if you are not getting up early (6 am). It was a nuance trying to turn it off. Hallways can be loud.

Check I was a nightmare. First, denied access because traveler name on reservation was my wife’s, who could not come. I had printed Expedia confirmation email in my name, though not listed as the traveler. Told by hotel wife had to call their number to add my name. She called. Nope. 3rd party reservation so we had to make name change through Expedia ( not the easiest to access a human by phone BTW). After wasting an hour to get name added, returned to front desk. “We don’t have a 2 Queen room for you”. What? Reserved and prepaid almost 3 months ago, and it’s now 2pm. Don’t tell me all your 2 queens are gone. I’m traveling with adult daughter, and didn’t pay to sleep on a roll-away. After putting up another stink, suddenly a 2 queen room appeared, but I had to wait until 4pm to access. I can only imagine I was given this treatment because room was booked through Expedia rather than Bonvoy site. Beware.

I hate that i had to go all the way at the lobby form the 8th floor to warm up my food . No microwave in the room .No complimentary whatsoever. They were being shady because i booked my stay with a 3rd party . Smh !!

Ugh. Had a terrible experience here. I am sincerely shocked by how many ways in which it was a total fail. The hotel has a terrible design, and was very dingy. Our room’s window did not face outside! Rather, it overlooked a dismal atrium with ballrooms. This meant that the already bleak room was dark and claustrophobic. It also meant that the wedding being held kept us up past midnight, and we had an early morning the following day. Nearly all of the staff was rude and went out of their way to not be helpful. Our room wasn’t properly stocked with basic amenities. There were no working ice machines to be found. An elevator was out, and we waited ridiculously long periods of time for one to arrive. Throughout our 3 days, we continued to be surprised by the constant stream of unpleasantness. The only saving grace was the location.

M my key card didn't work and I had to go to the front desk at least a good two or three times to be assigned to two or three different rooms and then the guy at the front desk had to actually walk me to my door for the last run and he also was like oh this is the only time that the key card did not work it was an inconvenience I was tired I was ready to go to sleep I just work 16 hours it was a complete inconvenience those hallways are not a short walk to the front desk I was ready for bed
