Nous avons réservé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel qui nous paraissait très charmant avec une situation géographique idéal pour parcourir la région d ubud . Que dire ? Nous avons simplement quitter l hôtel au bout de 3 nuits car il est perdu au milieu de nul part , première civilisation , 30 mn de voiture , pas la possibilité de se restaurer a l extérieur donc nous mangions a l hôtel , malgré une carte peu variée et des prix largement plus cher que la moyenne , la chambre n est pas l image des photos , le service est bon et le personnel très gentil mais il faut juste y Loger si vous décidez de méditer et vivre en retrait ...

Trop loin d ubud mais tellement beau !
TOP ! mais encore une ambiguité sur le terme villa. ici une Villa est une tres grande chambre d hotel avec salon privé petite piscine privative et un salon exterieur avec un grand canap. mais impossible d y inviter des amis la chambre sup de la villa est payante ! le cadre dans les rizieres et splendide. le style de bali est tres representé on se croirait dans un temple. Par contre meme si il est prevu une navette aller retour pour ubud, nous pensons que cette villa reste trop eloignée de ubud. en synthese il faut se rendre dans cet hotel pour y rester deux jours et se reposer dans un cadre au TOP de bali.

The property although in a beautiful setting and having friendly staff was run down and had stained mossie nets around the bed. One night there where holes in the sheets and there were stains in the bath and sink. The air conditioning didn’t work well at all. The food was good and they had a free shuttle service into Ubud a couple of times a day which was nice.

The service is excellent. they help with anything you need. The staff is also very warm and happy to share their culture and their location with us. The breakfast is free looking out over a beautiful garden. At night, I listened to a beautiful water fountain. In the morning, I heard the sounds of birds. The kinds of birds that you only here in places like this.

A Little Piece of Heaven
Alam Puri is a beautiful space hidden in a landscape that you gave to see to believe. Everything was beautiful, the staff was amazing. Everything I had booked was as expected and I couldn’t be more pleased. Definitely staying here on my next visit.

We kwamen hier aan na een lange vlucht en kwamen helemaal tot rust. Het eten wat prima en het zwembad was heerlijk. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim. We hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de spa en genoten van een heerlijke massage.

Das Hotel liegt etwas versteckt abseits der Strasse und auch nicht zenrtral. Nach Ubud waren es 11 km. Der kostenlose Shuttlebus vom Hotel brauchte schon mal eine Stunde für diese Strecke. Die Anlage ist sauber und idyllisch angelegt. Wie ein botanischer Garten. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war etwas langweilig. Drei Varianten gab es zur zur Auswahl, reichte aber. Wenn was fehlte, wurde nachgereicht. Nach dem Frühstück war das Zimmer schon wieder hergerichtet. Frisches Obst und Wasser war jeden Tag auf dem Zimmer vorhanden. Da die Anlage etwas abgelegen liegt und es keinen öffentlichen Nahverkehr gibt, ist man auf private Fahrer und Taxen angewiesen. Sind aber recht günstig. Wer mutig ist, für den stellte das Hotel kostenlose Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Für kleines Geld konnte man sich auch einen Motorroller mieten. Aber Achtung: Linksverkehr und enorme Verkehrsdichte! Verkehrsregeln kennt man nicht. Hier fährt man kreuz und quer. Indonesien verlangt eigentlich auch einen internationalen Führerschein.

Traditional bali resort
The resort's location is 30mins drive to central Ubud. We got an complimentary upgrade after we told the staff that the room didn't look like what we saw online. The food is average but expensive. The A/c needs to change because it is seriously worn down. The 2 bedroom villa has lots of moss in the balcony. Overall i liked the staff service. They are always there for you.

The rooms are very old which can make your stay a little uncomfortable,but the private pool ( not for swimming), and the spacious and more than satisfying patio .makes up for a lot.Shuttle takes you in town UBUD and pick you up. Theres lots of shops,bars ,grocery stores ,and the main reason we went to bali ,The famous restaurant OKA babagoling.

Everything looks beautiful upon arrival but using the facilities proved disappointing. Had to change rooms due to 2 days of either no water then no hot water. Enjoyed the pool and staff very helpful. Our second room toilet leaked no fridge and no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Food is expensive and very average. Would not visit again

Relaxing place , but a long way from Ubud
The hotel was advertised as Ubud, and ok was a bit out, but it took over 1/2 hr to get to Ubud by shuttle , the actual hotel was in Denpasar. The gardens were lovely , and the pool area perfect , food was ok, we were there a full week and even though the breakfast was in with the price we didn't bother a couple of times, There was a good restarant about 20 minutes walk away. Shuttle bus to Ubud a couple of times a day, from hotel was good. Rooms a bit tired , but sort of shabby sheek, we had a plunge pool, which was nice. Hired a car for 5 days to give us freedom, did it through the front desk, which were great 25$ a day! Laundry across the road 3 kg washing for 3$ , we had been in Kuta for a week before.

This hotel truly gave you a chance to experience the lush terraces of Balinese life. Sited on several levels it had a lot of interest points but also a lot of steps to climb. Location not so good as the hotel is away from tourist centres and needs transport to get to places of interest. The food was excellent and the staff helpful. Good for a very relaxing time away from it all.

Остановились здесь на три дня, как промежуточный пункт между другими отелями. В итоге продлили еще на сутки, так как к сожалению больше не было возможности... Здесь особая атмосфера. Архитекторами и дизайнерами продуман каждый уголок. Очень красиво и интересно. Возможно долгая эксплуатация отеля покажется кому-то не совсем благоприятной, но уже на второй день не замечаешь этого. За такую сравнительно небольшую стоимость - такой красоты и тишины не найти. Наилучшее соотношение цены и качества. Количество номеров небольшое и персонал не загружен работой, поэтому отношение к каждому отдыхающему очень хорошее и заботливое. Идеален для отдыха и расслабления. Кому нужна суета, для тех бесплатный автобус три раза в день ходит в Убуд.

Beautiful villa
I loved my stay at Alam Puri. The entire property is gorgeous. The restaurant serves good food and the staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was also a good sized portion. My only very small complaint is that the walls are a bit thin. The villa above sounded like they were moving furniture alot. However, it wasn't bad enough to ruin the stay by any means. I loved the location because it is central to everything. Staying at a room in kuta or seminyank would have caused a lot longer travel time to get to opposite sides of the island. Also this location isnt touristy, which i loved. I would recommend this villa to all friends and family.

Real Balinese Experience
We loved the spacious villa, which had a real Balinese feel to it with the architecture and furnishings. The private plunge pool was divine and the gardens around the villa gave it an exotic look and feel. Very romantic place for a couple to stay. The restaurant was lovely and the staff faultless. There is a small library which we found very useful. It has the most beautiful large gorgeous swimming pool which has a lovely private feel and is very clean and well maintained. The only fault was that there are steps everywhere. We are 58 and 64 and all the climbing of steps to different levels to access restaurant, pool, library etc was just too much for us. If you are young and fit no problem.

This hotel is located in Ubud.
The hotel has many offerings which include spa treatment and an amazing museum with various Indonesian artifacts. The room is large but doors don't overlook rice fields. The room fairly clean but can tell bed sheets and towels are old. The air conditioning worked ok. The netting on bed had some stains and needed cleaning or replacement. However, in this specific area it was probably the third or fourth best place to stay. Staff were gracious and always pleasant. It will be an authentic Bali experience

old villa
we stayed for 3 nights. staff are friendly. villa is huge. we had some issues with electric kettle. The first one did not stop after the water is boiled, after i opened the lid i found something that look like insect eggs. The second one sent in was a different model with a foreign plug and adapter. it smells like someone used it for making instant noodles. after the 1st use i can still smell it. then when i use it for the 2nd time, the plug melted. We gave up using the kettle and decided to buy water from outside. Hot water for shower does run out. Have to wait for hot water supply if you have more than 1 person staying. water stopped during mid night. no restaurants nearby within walking distance. very limited lights at night. Safe was locked before we use it. would choose to pay more and stay at a better resort.

夫婦+5歳の息子と7泊しました(^ ^) ホテルはどこに行くにも遠いし、近くにコンビニなども無く場所は不便です。 私たち家族は滞在中チャーターを予約していたので、それほど困りませんでした。 ホテルのスタッフさんの対応はとてもいいです。 部屋にカエルが入って来てしまい、嫌な顔もせず追い出してくれました(^ ^) プールものんびりするにはとてもいいです。 初めてのバリでしたが、バリらしいホテルでとても素敵な思い出になりました(^ ^) 宿泊客が少ないためプールも私たち家族+もう一組という感じで大きいプールをとても子供は楽しんでいました꒰ღ˘◡˘ற꒱ ただ1つ。テレビが天候が悪いせいかつきませんでした。

Nice hotel with superb staff
The Balinese hospitality was amazing here, staff was the redeeming factor. Our room had an air conditioner which wasn't working properly......slept fitfully. The grounds were immaculate! A bummer though that it wasn't okay to explore on our own on foot as the traffic outside made it a risky proposition. When I booked I was taken in by the attractions listed in a 5 - 6 km radius which I thought was doable on foot. How about having the shuttle service leave a bit earlier. Any tours around Ubud and surrounding areas start at 9 am but the shuttle leaves at 10 am, taking about 45 mins to reach Ubud. Loved the staff!

Never Stay Here as a Family
We were picked up by our car and taken to the Alam Puri. First impressions were of a very run-down place with very dodgy, unlit footpaths to get to the rooms. We arrived to find that the hotel had not set up a second bed for our daughter. The first suggestion by the staff was that all three if us should stay in the same bed, not practical with a fourteen year old! They then showed us another room with a second bed which was a mattress placed directly on the floor (not very good when the rooms are open to the world and there are many insects about) that was dressed with a filthy sheet, browns stains being visible. The second "bed" also did not have any mosquito netting! I offered to buy netting but they said it wasn't in the 'hotel policy' for us to do so. How can you not protect your child?!? We were so disgusted that we refused to stay and luckily found a wonderful hotel on Expedia where we had a terrific time.

kami memesan kamar Deluxe di sini. Namun selain itu mereka juga menyediakan villa. Hotelnya bagus, memiliki balkon yang menghadap sawah, dan terlihat mewah (awalnya). Namun sayang perwatan agak kurang. Kamar yang saya tempati tidak memiliki kursi di balkon (sehingga saya harus meminta dulu, karena kamar sebelah ada), ACnya tidak dingin (ternyata freonnya habis) dan ada lampu yang mati. Untungnya staffnya sangat tanggap terhadap semua permintaan kami. Jalan ke kamar agak jauh dan melewati banyak anak tangga. Tapi terbayar dengan kamar romantis dengan ranjang berselambu.

Ooit ongetwijfeld een parel maar niet behoorlijk onderhouden. Onze kamer had een rioolgeur en was muf. Meubilair is aan vernieuwing toe. Badkamer had een glazen - jawel - deur. Hoewel we reserveerden en betaalden voor 3 personen was men hier niet op voorzien. Het hotel prijst zich aan als dicht bij Ubud. In afstand misschien wel maar het was toch een rit van een half uur. In de onmiddellijke buurt niets te beleven.

Quiet area south of Ubud
Excellant hotel staff, lovely large room and bathroom. Situated in quiet area of Ubud. Has spa, library and art museum. Private pool, however, very small as would fit one person stretched out. Some minor maintenance issues with broken door handle on inside of bathroom door, broken shower head holder and no shower curtain. Netting over bed also needs washing as stains noted.
