It started out with walking into the trailer and seeing three leather pieces of furniture totally worn out and the seats on the couch cushions were all torn up. He had placed lousy looking blankets and all three pieces of furniture, I guess, to make it look better. But needless to say it didn’t! Pictures in his listing showed brand new leather furniture! Then we tried to contact Ron by his intercom and at his front door. He responded to neither attempts! When we went to use the kitchen we discovered it was very very poorly supplied. One frying pan with a handle just about falling off. Could’ve found something better at Goodwill! The only highlight of that first night were the brand new sheets on the bed. The second night when getting ready to shower, looked up and on the ceiling was a huge tarantula like spider. Again, we tried several times to get a hold of Ron through his intercom and also knocking at his door. No response! At that point we up and left and never to return. POOR COMMUNICATION AND DEFINITELY MISREPRESENTED HIS LISTING!!!

My husband and I stayed here for a quite get away. The roads are very curvy and it is very secluded, but it is close to the Sequoia National Park which we visited also. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will reserve again if we are in that area!!! Five stars all the way!!

A unique stay and a wonderful host
Really great stay overnight in Ron's RV. It was set up perfectly ready for us when we arrived and everything was comfortable. Ron gave excellent instructions on how to arrive and even offered an additional mattress as an option for the night. It's remote location puts it right in the wilderness with a beautiful view of the valley and wildlife around. The pets on property were happy to make friends as were we. Great stay all around!

Quiet, cozy home away from home.
Ronald was very welcoming when I arrived. Property is beautiful with sweet cats and dog. RV was so cozy. I felt like I was at home especially at the end of a long day. Ronald was very communicative and kind.

Beautiful view, clean, and great communication with the host. We were greeted by a lovable friendly dog named luna, and could hear cows mooing in nearby pastures. Would definetly rent here again.

Excellent Escape
This was the perfect location for me while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. I wanted to be off the grid to a certain extent, but also have solid WiFi and cell service if desired. This met all of those needs, and the host was wonderful, greeting me upon arrival and departure, along with his trusty German Shephard, Luna.

Great stay
We thought the camper stay was great. The owner greeted us and we enjoyed a short visit. He gave us privacy but offered suggestions for a wonderful hike at King’s Canyon NP. His dog Luna was so sweet and stopped by daily to say hi and get some head rubs. This place is in a private, quiet neighborhood which was nice after full days in the park.

National parks visit
We stayed at Ronald’s place for 4 nights whilst visiting the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National parks. It was very conveniently located about 30mins from the north entrance, and we had a very comfortable stay with plenty of space for 2 people. Having a kitchen in the RV was very handy as there aren’t really many restaurants etc around - stock up with food before arriving as stores are limited in the area. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked but was missing any bowls. The RV was generally clean with just a few cobwebs here and there. Ronald was very friendly and helpful and gave us a few tips on places to visit in the parks. Be aware that a lot of the roads in the area and up to the park are narrow and winding, as is the driveway up to the RV, although this didn’t cause us any problems.

Get away from the crowds at the national parks.
This is just as described - away from everything. Quiet and peaceful for sure. Just make sure you bring your own food, no markets or restaurants near by. Trailer was very comfortable and owner very responsive and loved his dog, Luna.

Ronald is an amazing person, very welcoming to us. His dog Luna is a fantastic Guard Dog. We were able to make a camp fire and had a great time. The surroundings of his property are beautiful and the trailer is very cozy. It was a great experience and highly recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the outback of America.

The property was as described. The bed was comfortable. Internet was spotty night one but fine nights two and three. The a/c was cool but needed 30 min to cool the unit down and the hot water needed 30 min after turning the switch to on. This was our first camper experience and we enjoyed it. Good access to Kings Canyon and Sequoia NP.

We enjoyed staying in the camper. We are thinking of purchasing one and this gave us a good taste of camper life. Enjoyed our time there. The roads getting to the site I.e hog back road is an experience for sure. Would recommend this for a single or couple.

Peaceful retreat
Great spot! Just know you are out where there are no groceries, gas, or restaurants. If your going to the parks plan on driving about 1 to 1 1/2 hours one way on windy mountain roads. We didn’t mind it and this spot was great with a very friendly dog , Luna. Thanks Ronald!

Nice wilderness getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The location was beautiful. It's far from civilization, so come prepared with what you need, including a full tank of gas and food. The linens and cooking items were provided and there were even many basic condiments, coffee and sugar, etc.

The RV is roomy and very comfortable, and the area is nice and quiet. The bathroom drain runs very slow, and the water stains in the cabinet under the sink suggest this is not a new problem. Other than a confirmation message from the host the day after we made the reservation, the next communication we received from the host was not until 9am on the day we arrived (when we were already driving there) giving us information about check-in and detailed driving directions. This was unacceptably late. The messages were sent through VRBO, and I was unable to respond because when I selected the option to log in via Expedia to reply, it required a security code it sent via email but I never received, even after multiple attempts! To this day, I still have no way to contact the host. We stayed 4 nights, but there was nowhere for us to put out our trash (which included used TP as required by the host), so we had to keep it in the RV. There were no additional trash bags for the sink or bathroom. The host was accessible using the phone in the RV when we arrived and was friendly and helpful. However on both Sat and Sun mornings when we tried calling to ask about the trash, we got no answer. We were then gone for the day, so we were not able to contact the host again.

The property owner was very hospitable and amenable and Luna - the dog - was also very welcoming and happy to be petted! The location offers quiet and the beauty of nature and is situated about an hour from both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks!

i am a nature lover. i love the place. ronald (our host) is very informative. the place is the best when u want to stay away from the crowd of LA. luna (the dog) is very very friendly. no need to be scared off. accessibility is not quite easy but when u reach to the destination is quite a worth. this is a above excellence experience. i will recommend this to our friends.

Great place to stay
Great RV experience. It's got everything you need. Just that water supply is not stable since a water pump is needed to pull it up which means some noise when the pump is on. But we didn't have a problem taking a shower aftee a long day hike. Other than that, it is in a very quiet and nice rural location which my wife and I liked. We would stay again next time we visit Kings and Sequoia. Oh, I loved Luna the Shepherd! She's a wonderful friendly dog!

We enjoyed our one night stay and really appreciated the proximity to King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The drive up to the property is fine during daylight hours, but could be difficult after dark so plan accordingly. Ronald was a great host, and his dog Luna was a perfect greeter and security guard!

Loved the location near the National Parks and out where it's quiet! We especially enjoyed the greeter dog (Luna)! The parking and access could be improved some. The stairs are quite steep and it's hard to get around the front corner of the camper with your arms full ... pretty minor, though.

The forest has ants in the ecosystem! We use ant traps but occasionally 1-2 get in the RV … they are not a problem at all if food is sealed… we spend hours getting the RV sparkling clean and sanitized between guests!

Amazing experience
My boyfriend and I came up here for my birthday and this was by far the highlight of our trip up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It was so fun to have a little camping get away. We were greeted by a beautiful German Shepard named Luna who was so sweet and so protective. Ronald was very attentive, and informative. The camper was clean and well maintained and stocked with the essentials. It had free wifi and access to Hulu and Netflix. Kitchen had all the essential cookware. It had a beautiful view of the mountains. Definitely will stay here our next trip out to the Sequoias and Kings Canyon.

We wanted a place to sleep while spending a short trip to the King Cannon area. We were not looking for amenities, space or even a kitchen. More a affordable sleeping place while we explored the National Forest. This loved up to that. It was 11 miles from entrance, however that is roughly 45-1 hour do to the roads.. if you have not driven in the mountains beware night travel not recommended so planning trip. Camper was clean, basic utensils and kitchen items. Shower/bathroom clean. No issues with hot water. Bed comfortable for 2. Towels provided and shampoo etc. Coffee pot available. Owner very responsive and friendly dog/cat on property. If looking for are to be able to walk around and spend a lot of time at the property, might not be your place. It was perfect for our trip.

Wonderful Stay!
We loved our stay at this property! The RV was clean and supplied what we needed. Ronald, our host, communicated very well, provided great directions, and answered all of our questions and requests promptly. He was very kind. The RV is located about an hours drive from the entrance to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park - there will be additional driving to reach trailheads. The view from this location was stunning, and very remote which made our stay peaceful. Luna, Ronald's dog was extremely friendly and met us on the property when we arrived! Definitely a bonus. We would stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you, Ronald!!

We stayed for three nights and it was great. Ronald was polite, responsive, and helpful with anything and everything we asked. Just jeep in mind, you are staying in a camper. Therefore, normal amenities are harder to come by (waiting for water to heat up, gas stove, wifi, disposing of waste, etc). If you aren’t scared of a little adventure, this is the best thing for you! The camper is on a beautiful piece of property, about an hour from the closest Walmart through winding mountain roads. You’re also about an hour from Sequoia Park and Kings Canyon. Bring some groceries with you, bottled water, extra blankets, maybe a dvd or two, and fill up the gas tank prior to leaving town and you’ll have a blast! I recommend getting there before sunset your first night as the mountain roads can be disorienting in the dark. The beautiful german shepherd on site is a bonus. She loves belly rubs, doesn’t jump or bite, and keeps strange noises at bay with a loud bark (great protection). We will definitely be staying again.

Cozy RV for a small get away. It was our first time staying in an RV and it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with the family dog, who is super friendly! The owners were kind and communicative, providing detailed instructions to get to the RV since its a bit secluded on a rocky dirt path. I’d recommend this place to everyone, the only thing was the difficulty of getting warm water, but the cold water was refreshing in the morning!
