Bed & view requests are always subjected to the current hotel availability; however, our staff members take all guests' requests into serious consideration during the room allocation procedure. We are very glad to know that you voiced out your discontent about the offered room while still at the property and that our Front Desk staff immediately proceeded with the room reassignment. We are really sorry to hear though that the second room did not meet your expectations.Moreover, we would like to let you know that there is a central heating/cool system in the hotel and the temperature is regulated according to the current weather conditions. You may also appreciate that the hotel’s location is not something that can be controlled at by the hotel itself. Every big city offers a large variety of buildings, monuments, areas, businesses, night clubs, restaurants and even stand-alone buildings all mixed in every area and suburb without a specific form or control. We would have greatly appreciated you voicing out your dissatisfaction while still at the property, in order to provide us with the opportunity to immediately react and allocate you into a different room. Concerning your remarks about the pool, we would like to inform you that even though The Stanley is a city hotel, we have proceeded with an extensive renovation of the roof garden ensuring we will gain as much seating space as possible, in order to be able to accommodate a larger number of guests at the same time. Additionally, the transformation of the terrace is materialized on a daily basis, where an additional seating space is created by removing part of the bar seating during daytime. Moreover, about the location, you may appreciate that the hotel's location is not something that can be controlled at by the hotel itself. Every big city offers a large variety of buildings, monuments, areas, businesses, night clubs, restaurants and even stand-alone buildings all mixed in every area and suburb without a specific form or control. Concerning your remarks about the pool, we would like to inform you that even though The Stanley is a city hotel, we have proceeded with an extensive renovation of the roof garden ensuring we will gain as much seating space as possible, in order to be able to accommodate a larger number of guests at the same time. Additionally, the transformation of the terrace is materialized on a daily basis, where an additional seating space is created by removing part of the bar seating during daytime. We apologize that you were not able to easily find your desired place. Our staff checks to make sure everyone is an overnight guest; however we are a large hotel, and it is quite a popular place among guests even early in the morning.
We understand that every guest's expectations are different and we feel apologetic for not meeting your own.
