Location molto gradevole a pochi km dall’autostrada. Ci siamo fermati solo per una notte (una tappa del nostro viaggio) e ci è dispiaciuto. Il borgo merita una visita. La struttura è molto confortevole, ben riscaldata sia nelle aree comuni che nella stanza. L’accoglienza è stata molto familiare. Viaggiavamo con un cagnolino che è stato accolto benissimo. L’hotel è veramente “Pet Friendly”. Non abbiamo avuto nessun problema. Abbiamo cenato molto bene al ristorante dell’hotel. La colazione servita al tavolo è all’italiana.

This property was off the beaten track but very lovely. It sat on top of a mountain overlooking a beautiful valley. We sat outside in a small courtyard, enjoying some beverages from the hotel. Dinner in their restaurant that night was delicious. The croissants in the morning were among the best i have ever tasted! This is a quiet and wonderful spot to relax.

Ich war mehr als positiv überrascht. Die Lage auf einem Berg mit sagenhaftem Ausblick war sensationell. Das Burghotel ist innen sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat den Charme euner Burg behalten. Die Atmosphäre war super. Sehr sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Morgens sehr aufmerksam beim Frühstück. Geweckt wurde ich vom Duft der Kuchen aus dem Backofen. Perfekt zur Erholung und tolle Lage für Ausflüge oder Spaziergänge. Ich komme wieder.

La location è incantevole in un borgo unico che piano piano sta rinascendo fino a diventare una sorta di albergo diffuso. Le camere sono in stile belle ma avrebbero bisogno di qualche ritocco, anche la prima colazione ha bisogno di un rinforzo. Il personale gentilissimo è la forza di questo hotel.

L’essere accolti in modo familiare, professionale e impeccabile non ha prezzo ed è sempre più raro. Durante un lungo viaggio fermarsi in questa struttura è stata come una coccola inaspettata. Ristorante di alto livello e personale disponibilissimo.

Prenotato come sosta intermedia in viaggio per la sicilia abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché vicino all uscita dell autostrada,è stata una piacevole sorpresa! Hotel molto carino e suggestivo,si trova in una torre del 700,pulito e personale gentilissimo.Arrivati in serata abbiamo cenato in hotel Cena molto buona.Da consigliare ,qualità prezzo eccezzionale!

Wow this place is magic !! Majestic site on the edge of the cliff at the end of the city wall with a panoramic view across Valle d Diano!! Easy access and parking too with a very good restaurant menu too!! Wonderful breakfast each morning with great staff !!

Posizione da cui domina tutta la vallata. Mi rendo conto che si trova in paese arroccato su una collina, ma la possibilità di più parcheggi a disposizione sarebbe un vantaggo per i clienti.

Hotel di charme in una antica torre, con splendida
Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera con ampio bagno e balconcino affacciato sul Vallo. Da segnalare il raffinato ristorante dell’hotel dove abbiamo gustato ottimo pesce in un incantevole tavolo con vista sul panorama.

Soggiorno di una notte, in un hotel fantastico, con una posizione estremamente strategica e soprattutto una cortesia impeccabile! Camera e bagno spaziosi, ben arredati, pulizia ineccepibile. Cena con bella vista sul Vallo di Diano in un atmosfera elegante, perfetta sinfonia di sapori in pietanze che hanno deliziato gli occhi e il palato. Personale di sala gentile e disponibile, buona colazione; complessivamente un'ottima esperienza.

Romantic scenic getaway
This was a journey into the past. Atena Lucana, the old city, is high on the mountain top and overlooks a spectacular valley below. It has breathtaking views. You need to be a mountain goat to climb and explore the streets. But if you love antiquity and have a sense of adventure, you won't be disappointed. The church of St Ciro is quite beautiful. The town folks (pop 2000) are friendly and proud of it's rich heritage. You feel the genuine sense of loss as families were forced to leave due to the lack of employment since the turn of the 20th century. They all have stories about where family members have emigrated to. This is more of an adult vacation, not much for youngsters to do. It is the real rural Italy, not one of the fast paced urban centers. You can breathe fresh air and gain a sense of serenity. Sometimes just sitting still is more than enough to do.

Comodo per una sosta in viaggio.
Nel complesso la nostra permamenza nell'hotel è stata gradevole e la struttura merita. Il personale è stato sempre cortese e disponibile. Gli ambienti comuni dell'albergo sono ben curati e arredati. Tuttavia a mio parere, gli standard per un quattro stelle non sono rispettati appieno e, ritengo che si dovrebbero curare maggiormente i dettagli specialmente nelle camere, che comunque sono di livello assolutamente accettabile; del resto neppure i prezzi proposti sono a livello 4 stelle. In ogni caso è un albergo che ritengo di potere consigliare, considerata anche la buona esposizione con vista e il comodo collegamento con l'autostrada a pochi chilometri.

Hotellet vil gerne være meget fint, men er det ikke, man føler sig simpelthen ikke velkommen. Håndklædeholderen faldt ned, lampen over spejlet virkede ikke, tjeneren i restauranten var sur. Konklusion: vælg et andet hotel.

Hotel di ottimo livello, ricavato in un'antica torre di Atena Lucana. La camera che mi è stata assegnata, discretamente arredata, disponeva di una stanza da bagno ampia, dotata di doccia con idromassaggio. Ho apprezzato molto la sala lettura, dislocata al secondo piano, corredata di una postazione internet. La colazione mattutina è stata buona. Peccato che l'hotel si trovi in un paese anonimo e senza offerta turistica; la posizione dell'albergo, però, è strategica per visitare le Grotte di Pertosa e la Certosa di Padula ed il rapporto qualità/prezzo lo fa preferire ad altre strutture della zona..

Wonderful Hotel
We chose this hotel as a nice stop over from southern Italy to Rome. It is slightly of the A-3 Highway. The hotel is in the small village of Atena Lucana which is atop a hill. The hotel is well maintained. We were received very nicely by Iovanna the hostess. She took us to the room which was very spacious, had very nicely decorated walls painted in old light gold tone. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. There was a nice comfortable queen size bed. The window gave us a panoramic view of the valley. The staff was always very courteous and attentive. I had for dinner in the hotel restaurant a seafood antipasto which included 2 nice sized gamberoni, grilled baby octopus and calamari followed by a nice freshly made pasta with salmon. These dishes were both delicious. The were accompanied by a nice glass of agliano red wine. For breakfast we had a nice continental breakfast which included some slices of prosciutto and local cheese. This is a clean, well maintained hotel with wonderful staff. Parking on site is complimentary. We highly recommend this facility.
