Good, quiet location a little ways from town, delicious complimentary salmon chowder. Clean rooms and courteous service. Pool and hot tub were fun and clean as well!

The girl at the desk was very friendly and informative. The hotel was very clean and properly maintained. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. I loved the added touch of complimentary smoked salmon chowder and crackers as well as chocolate chip cookies. The gym was outstanding. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. Overall a wonderful experience and we would definitely go back.

This hotel was quite comfortable and clean. I would recommend that they add sweetener to the rooms for the coffee service in the future.

Hotel was clean and service very good. I would have liked to have a view, given proximity to the river, but our lower level room didn’t have it. Everything else was quite good.

Astoria is a working town, but the location of the property and the cleanliness of the property makes it a star. Room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrobes were an extra bonus. Pool and sauna are open late which is great for late arrivals. Get to the lobby early for the smoked salmon chowder!

The female clerk that checked us in late in the day, worked the evening Friday and Saturday was extremely efficient and awesome customer service! The staff that ran the breakfast buffet provided a wonderful breakfast and catered to guest! I will be back for sure!

We asked for and got a room on the 4th floor, a good part of the morning and evening we watched ships enter and leave the harbor, for folks from Idaho this was a enjoyable way to relax. The staff in our opinion bent over back wards to make our stay memorable. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is a better sign on the entrance. I would recommend the hotel highly. Just good folks.

This hotel had so many nice touches for guests. Real glass coffee cups other than paper ones. Same for the water glasses. A black hand towel for makeup removal. Comfy Terry robes in the bathroom. A variety of coffee for the Keurig in your room. Another nice touch is warm clam chowder available in the afternoon followed by a freshly baked cookie. The staff was wonderful!

The room and people were great. The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast buffet. When we arrived, about an hour before it was to close, most of the hot food was gone or almost gone. Finally someone came to check but it was too late and we went somewhere else.

Great location. Excellent value. Surprised by all the extra complimentary food items like cookies & smoked salmon chowder for dinner. We stayed one night but enjoyed the pool when we check in and before we checked out, breakfast buffet, cookies, and chowder were all great. The rooms were clean, loved spending time in the pool, hot tub and sauna.

My first thought was “this is very hidden” ..you have to really pay attention so you don’t miss the entrance.. but everything about our stay was more than excellent.. when you check in the set up is beautiful.. walking in I almost got a cabin like essence .. I instantly fell in love.. it’s very cozy and the staff was amazing! They greeted you coming and going and made sure you had everything you needed and was very clear about what they offer which I thought was awesome ! I WILL stay here again my next coastal visit!
