It was so cold outside so we stayed in, fireplace and heaters kept us warm as well as the thick soft blankets, kitchen was equipped with all that I needed to cook, and the shower was plenty hot, sitting on the front porch looking up the foothills was breath taking and my dog had a blast, they left treats and a food bowl for her and had clean up stations throughout, was worth every dime

Very Clean and Convenient
Very clean and more than enough room for a couple and a large dog. Less than a 10 minute ride to downtown Asheville and a 5 minute ride to downtown Weaverville (which was unexpectedly cute).

This was our honeymoon. We wanted to do something simple and the cottages were beautiful. So much to do around the area, especially if you enjoy breweries. We stayed in cottage 5 with our dogs. The staff was awesome. Highly recommend.

I liked that there was a front and back porch, the bed was comfy. However, the kitchen chairs were wobbly and the tub could use a grab bar and or texture strips on floor for non slip. We would have liked an outside porch light on back porch. Dan at the front desk was an excellent source of where to eat and very inviting to the facility.

This was a good experience. The cabin was cute and just the right size for us. The property allows pets for a fee and there is some room to walk. It was a bit noisy as a major road is just above the cabin. Easy check in and check out. Dan was great. Good places to eat and grocery are near by. It was a nice home base to enjoy the parks.

Adorable vintage vibe with great location!
We absoutley LOVED our stay at Pine Cottages! We loved the adorable vintage vibe. We loved the ample space in our cottage that included a kitchen with a "picture window". We loved the friendly staff. We loved the convenient location between downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. This side of Asheville is just outside of the hustle and bustle and a few exits from the university & river arts district. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at one of the cottages to celebrate our anniversary. It was a darlin little cabin. Our first morning there we used the kitchen and made our breakfast before we went out for the day. We went to a local grocery store and picked up a few things. It had everything we needed to make our breakfast. After spent the day at the Biltmore and then a few hours at the Cherokee Casino we were so happy the bed was so comfortable. The shower had great hot water pressure. The lady who checked us was so kind and sweet. She definitely made us feel very welcome and told us if we needed anything to contact her. We definitely recommend this diamond in the ruff!!

This property has a lot of character. It’s like your own home in the hills. The property manager was very friendly and personable. I felt like I was visiting with my sister. I plan to visit again. It’s location provides easy access to the areas around Asheville.

Adorable space!
Adorable space. Beds were so comfy! Curtains were amazing for blacking out the sun. Water pressure was great even in the tiny shower. We’d definitely stay again.

Comfortable cabin in the woods
This was a great experience. I loved the cottage it had the comfort of a hotel in a beautiful, private, intimate , in nature kind of way. The staff was excellent. I wound stay here again and try one of the other cabins. They are all quirky different.

Rita, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am sorry you viewed your cottage as outdated. We try to stay true to the time the cottages were built. Yours I believe was built in the forties, so we decorate with the forties in mind and advertise them as vintage. We also have modern conveniences added to the cottages. Such as full-size appliances, microwaves, dvd players, etc. We do value your feedback; it helps us to improve. Thank you for staying with us. We hope you will come back and stay with us again.

Very nice and helpful staff !! The place is so nice, with trees and nature in the surroundings. With BBQ area, resting places,... and area big enough for enjoying your stay here. Everything well decorated: inside the cottages and the outside area (tables, chairs, hammock, etc). Totally equiped kitchen with amenities for cooking. Clean. The only thing is that is quite near to the highway, but when you are in the cottage, this is not a problem. Even outside, you can't see it so for us it was not a big deal. Very good relationship between price and quality. We'll definitely stay here again if we came back to Asheville.

The cottage was very cute and very clean. I will definitely be back hopefully with the kids because I think they would enjoy it. It was closer to the road than I was expecting but once you were inside I barely even noticed the traffic outside. We would definitely come back and try a different cottage or cabin even next time. We visited the Biltmore while there and the cottage was not very far.

Fantastic Weekend!
Perfect location near Asheville and Mars Hill. Super friendly staff. Everything we needed for a good weekend. Only issue, not even an issue, just would have been nice to know; Cabin 2's pull-out sleeper sofa is best suited for a small child. Since we have a mostly grown teenager, if I had known, I would have booked a different cabin with multiple actual beds. But again, this was a great experience and we'll definitely book here again.
