The lobby is nice. Deceptively so because nothing else about this hotel can make that claim. They're remodeling and once you step into your room you see why. The advertised "non smoking" classification was only very recently implemented for this room. The pet fee, normally $35, was only $10. I suspect this was because they've had frequent complaints from guests asking "What could my dog POSSIBLY do to make this room worse?" Every outlet cover was cracked and broken. The bathroom ceiling, I kid you not, looks like the bathtub above it, at some point, fell through it. Everything exudes shabbiness. If we hadn't been driving for 16 hours we'd definitely get a refund and find a room that didn't appear to have been completely underwater at some point in its past. As it is, at least the hot water works, even if the toilet sounds like some sort of engine on its last leg when flushed. Recommend this hotel highly only to people you secretly hate.

Staff did all they could do however the listing that we paid for they do not actually have and is in need of repairs we booked a room with king size bed and pull out couch with a soaking tub they do not actually have that and they had to get us a microwave fro. A different room because it was missing

It's very old with issues and in the process of a complete remodel. The room smelled like bleach. I left and went to a different hotel.

About to drain was broken and overall I just felt very grungy in there there were smudges and food and finger marks on all the lamps. Tub too gross to shower in. Just need someone to sleep I guess it worked for that

The rooms are very old. Floor boards are all deteriorating Rust on metal surfaces. Parking lot nasty. It seemed like we were in the slums. I didn’t want my feet to touch the floor. We just slept for 7 hours and got straight out of there

No ice bucket in the room, no trash containers in the room, a section of ceiling dropping loose, and two spots on walls with exposed drywall. The first room had no operational TV but we were moved to another room after about 45 minutes of attempts to repair.

So very disappointed. The pictures of this place are deceptively taken. I feel as if I was deceived. Expedia needs to boycott this property. As we arrived there were 2 police vehicles questioning a young woman. Found out it had nothing to do with hotel. Then a HUGE feral cat ran by our car. Then in lobby it was HOT. No air conditioning in Amarillo in August. In the upper 90s outside. I was not given an opportunity to look at room before checking in even though it was on the paperwork. All of the security doors from outside were broken. The hallway carpet was disgusting and very dirty. No air conditioning in the hallways. Smelled of smoke everywhere. The room was to have a king size bed and a sofa. No sofa just an old ratty chair. My son had to sleep on the floor. The whole room was very dirty. The air conditioning unit was full of dust and mold. The fitted sheet in bed was put on inside out. The bathtub was stained and not clean. The towels were stained. I didn’t let anyone take a shower bc of state of bathroom. If we had not traveled 14 hours and exhausted we would have gone somewhere else. We slept 5 hours and immediately left. I have stayed in places all over the world (including Hellville Madagascar) and this was/is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed.

Check in process took very long time, cockroaches run everywhere even they were almost on my bed, both hallways and lobby are very dirty and messy, inside the room is not pleasant as well, very hard to believe it’s a hotel, it says 3-star hotel on the Google! Wow, no way, this place cannot even qualify 1-star

Had to leave because conditions were revolting. Hotel will not reimburse us. Health inspection needed asap!!! This place is unsafe, disgusting and dishonest. Our main complaints incude: broken exterior door (door won't close), cockroaches, bugs throughout fridge, vomit on lamp base next to bed, missing carpet sections, missing paint sections, mold. Additionally the check in process took 1 hour, 4 cops came during the less then 2 hour timeline we were on premises, there wasn't a TV in our room, the pool and rec room were closed for the summer.

Check in took 35 minutes when there was only one group in front of me. Walls in the room had been patched but not painted. No toilet paper roll holders in the bathroom. Bed only had bottom fitted sheet and a blanket.

Was asked if I minded an undergrade to a king bed, i gladly appcepeted it, however the room had no towels, floor had not been vacuum in a couple of days. I told front desk and was advised that housekeeping hss been out for a couple of days. Property is also under construction,

Tried to make us pay a cash deposit. Room was dirty nothing like the pictures and smelled of smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room. No elevator.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which result in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. We booked 2 rooms but were unable to stay in either. Checking in took at least 20 minutes. One room hadn't been cleaned, the plumbing in the tub was broken and the carpet was filthy. The second room had 2 broken beds and was dingy and dirty. There was a putrid smell in that part of the hotel that was unbearable. Cigerette smoke combined with what biomedical waste probably smells like and strong cooking odors is the best way to describe the smell in the halls. There were spots on the tile floor in public areas that looked like drops of blood. They did not have any other rooms to put us in but honestly the smell and the people loitering around lobby and halls were enough to make us walk out knowing we would lose the money I paid for the rooms. My sister vomited in the parking lot as soon as we walked out. This property should not be on Expedia's site. The desk clerk said I could call Expedia and complain and they could contact the hotel to verify my complaint and I could possibly get my money back. Hold times are too long at Expedia to get an resolution so far. If you book this property be prepared for a traumatic experience.
