The apartment we had was not clean. It still had pizza crust… hair on the pillows a mess… wrote an email immediately and after a few exchange email offered us to change room …. But never wrote back to give us the code of the other room … which I guessed…..

Appartement globalement bien et propre. L’entrée n’est pas facile à trouver car à l’arrière de l’immeuble et elle ne porte pas exactement le même nom. Ca ne ressemble d’ailleurs pas à une entrée d’hôtel. Ayant réservé pour 4 personnes et pour une nuit, nous aurions apprécié d’avoir le canapé lit préparé pour la nuit. Petit bémol, lorsque nous avons sorti les couettes du placard, elles étaient pleines de cheveux, ce qui laisse un doute sur le fait qu’elles aient été lavées depuis les derniers occupants du canapé. Sinon le reste de l’appartement était très propre. L’appartement était aussi équipé d’une apple TV (car pas de chaines en réception hertzienne), mais impossible à utiliser car la télécommande ne marchait pas. Enfin nous aurions aimé avoir 2 poêles pour cuisiner et non une seule et un plat antiadhésif pour le four.

We enjoyed the open floor plan, windows, and updated designs. There was free designated parking which was great since we arrived by car. The property is in an industrial area but is still walkable to town center if you want to get your steps in, and grocery is even closer. My only feedback for the property is that they appear to offer and stock soaps and we did not have conditioner and the shampoo was empty when we arrived. Everything else was great.

Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und für unseren Aufenthalt perfekt geeignet. Die Umgebung ist ein Industrieviertel und nicht gerade ansprechend aber trotzdem recht ruhig. Der Checkin mit Schlüsselsave war unproblematisch. Die Lage zu den Ausflugszielne war in Ordnung und die Möglichkeit der Verpflegung in der Stadt perfekt.

Very clean and large. Apartment further out of town than expected and is on an industrial estate. Parking instructions were more complicated than necessary. All apartments have an allocated numbered space at the front . This wasn’t correct in joining instructions but was on a notice on the inside of the front door. The apartment was opposite a recycling plant that was extremely noisy with the sound of breaking glass during the day but stopped about 1700 hrs. Both hot tubs were empty.

Tried to reach the North Apartments admin team because we could not find a pillow for the sofa bed, and the hand soap was out when we tried to use it the first time. But no responses for email and text messages. Could not reach them by phone, either. What a mess!

It was a clean and comfortable very utilitarian kind of place. I was not thrilled but my issues are not indicative of a bad place, just not my cup of tea. It is seemingly a renovated office building in an industrial area. We only used the hot tub once because there was so much noise from the surrounding area it was anything but relaxing. We were not bothered by the noise inside however. The amenities I usually expect like shower gel and a supply of coffee were missing. We had to ask for toilet paper because there was only the small roll and we were there for three nights. It was a nice apartment though and the kitchen had even a rolling pin! I wouldn't stay again but I wouldn't discourage anyone else because my issues wouldn't be issues necessarily for someone else.

We found it difficult to find the property - a photograph of the front door/entrance would have helped. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. There is a continuous noise - originating from somewhere outside the apartment - that interfered with our sleep.

Bellissimo appartamento, pulito, perfettamente arredato e dotato di tutti i confort, c’era addirittura la macchina per fare i waffle, oltre a due hot tubs ed una griglia dove abbiamo cotto degli ottimi hamburgher! Unico neo la posizione: zona industriale di Akureyri… peccato. Per il resto consigliatissimo!
