« This was our second stay at the Madison. We loved this property and may return at some future date. Our experience with staff members were short of the standard set during our first visit. Check in was lengthy. The desk attendant was off eating dinner. The valet parking attendant filling in (unable or trained to help) called him back to the front desk. He hurriedly checked us in and issued 2 key cards; neither worked upon reaching our room. So we returned to the front desk. He was once again...

« The building and grounds need maintenance. There's rotting window sills and rain damage on the ceiling, spots of bleach on the carpets and the doorknob of a closet came off in my hand. The TV in the room is incredibly small, the size of a computer screen. You don't come to a hotel to watch TV but like showers, you expect a nice experience.
The breakfasts were ok, but not great. »

« The fireplace was lovely and the room was cozy and attractive.
The bathroom was spacious and clean, however we werenât able to locate any extra t.p.
I would advise people that the staircase going up to the rooms is quite steep. We were able to manage ok, but anyone with difficulty with stairs would have a challenge.
The breakfast voucher for breakfast was great and we enjoyed a lovely meal.
We also had a wonderful time at The Kate at a Blues concert.
Overall, very satisfied with our overnight...

« Great vacay apartment and backyard, slept 5 comfortably, could do 6-8 with kids. Unit was perfectly equipped for our 4 day stay's every need - many fluffy towels, shower gel & shampoo, streaming TV, board games, comfy bedding, every kind of kitchen item, ice and free coffee supplies. Light and sunny apt close to beach, eateries, shops, downtain, train/ferry, Fort Trumbull & Colleges/CGA. The rolling beach cart with beach chairs and towels was perfect for a visit to Ocean Beach or Harkness SP...
