Description

Your tour will depart from our convenient location in the heart of the French Quarter with roundtrip transport via air conditioned coach. While en route to the swamp embrace the quintessential Louisiana landscape on the bayou. Head out on a custom-built all-weather boat to uncover the mysteries of the swamps, bayous, and the Cajun joie de vivre (joy of living).

Float along the waterways and past the landscapes of southern Louisiana. Discover how the Cajuns turned soup into gumbo, the washboard into a musical instrument and the swamps into a paradise.

Observe the nesting grounds of alligators, egrets, raccoons, nutria and many species of snakes. Learn why the wetlands are disappearing due to coastal erosion and how some are attempting to reverse that damage. Make sure you bring your camera to capture the bons temps (good times) on the bayou.

These tours have been featured on Showtime, Fox Sports and Entertainment Tonight.

The tour was excellent! Even though we went right before the alligators’ hibernation we were able to see them. The tour guide was entertaining and informative!

This was a great tour. We saw quite a few alligators as we took a leisurely cruise around.
