Description

The tour will go through the highlights of Cascais, walk tour in Cascais old town, small villages of Cascais, Peninha Sanctuary, Cabo da Roca, Coastal road through Guincho, Cresmina and Cabo Raso.

We will meet in Cascais Train Station, at 10 am.

We will start by driving along the small villages in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, heading to Peninha Sanctuary, an unforgettable place, with a legend back to the XVI century. We will continue to the westernmost point of the European Continent, Cabo da Roca, with its 140 metre height cliffs over the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. We will do a stop to enjoy the place.

Taking coastal road to Cascais, overlooking the sea, we will go through the amazing Guincho Beach, the Cresmina Dunes and Boca do Inferno. Stops will be done for small walks and for photos, in the carefully selected spots.

Reaching Cascais, the well known royal summer resort since end of the19th Century, we will do a walk tour through the old town and major sights. Cascais is the town in Portugal for golf, sailing, surfing and several other outdoor activities. It is also known for having great fishing restaurants.

The drop-off will be in Cascais Train Station.

The tour include some walk, a total of around 3km.

We will provide historical and local information, so you can learn about the places we will visit.
