Description

Explore Barcelona's waterfront and Montjuïc Hill and discover the natural beauty of the city on this guided tour. Stop by the waterfront's Old Port and World Trade Center to see a mix of new and old, then catch amazing city views from Montjuïc Hill before exploring Poble Espanyol museum.

Meet your guide and board a bus in Plaça Catalunya, then head to Barcelona's scenic waterfront. The waterfront is a beautiful example of how the city integrates the new and old. Visit the Old Port to see the Gothic Drassanes, mediaeval shipyards that now house the Maritime Museum. Also catch visit the Columbus Monument, built in the explorer's honour in 1888, as well as the modern World Trade Center whose boat-inspired architecture makes it a focal point of the area.

Continue your tour to Montjuïc Hill, which rises from the middle of the city and is home to a number of parks, art galleries, and museums. Your tour takes you to see the Olympic Ring, the central sports facility of the 1992 Olympic Games, as well as the Mirador de Miramar lookout, from which you can see both the harbour and the city. Finally, spend some free time roaming Poble Espanyol, a 1929 museum with replicas of streets, buildings, and squares from around the country.
