  • The Tobu Nikko City Area Pass is only available for foreign tourists with a non-Japanese passport.
  • Nikko All Area Pass is only available for foreign tourists with a non-Japanese passport. You must present a valid non-Japanese passport on the day of the activity.
  • Discounts on entrance fees, transport fares, and purchases vary by season.
  • Some Nikko area attractions only operate seasonally; please check before you go.
  • The 2B bus departs approximately every 15 minutes. Each loop lasts approximately 23 minutes. Hours of operation are 8:20 AM–5:30 PM. The 2A bus hours of operation are 6:15 AM–6:10 PM. The 2C bus hours of operation are 6:30 AM–6:30 PM.
  • Train and bus time schedules and route maps are available on the Tobu Railway website. Please search for "Tobu Railway" to find the website.
  • Your pass is valid for a period of 2 consecutive days beginning on the date you selected when booking. Consecutive days are calendar days, not 24-hour days. Please make sure that the date you specified refers to the date when the Pass is in use, not the date for exchange.
  • Opening Hours at redemption point: 7:20 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Pick up your NIKKO PASS (World Heritage Area) in Asakusa, then hop aboard a Tobu train bound for Shimo-Imaichi and the Tobu-Nikko Station. Known as a centre of Shinto and Buddhist mountain worship, Nikko has a number of beautiful shrines and temples that are lauded as UNESCO World Heritage sites. With your pass, hop aboard a bus and head to Toshogu Shrine, the lavish final resting place of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the shogun who unified Japan and established the Tokugawa Shogunate. Also visit Rinnoji Temple, which was founded by the Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism to Nikko in the 8th century, and Futarasan Shrine, dating back to the year 767.

Between incredible shrines and temples, feel free to relax at the hot springs of Kinugawa Onsen, or indulge in some retail therapy with discounts on souvenirs.
