Iron horse is my go to place to stay in winter park. You cannot beat the location and the price. I will continue to book here in the future. This unit has been my favorite so far.

I took my 13 yo Son for Spring Break! I rented a car for the week which made things super easy- though we only used it to go to a Denver Nuggets game mid-week! We tubed, skied, watched movies and ate fabulous food! Didn’t cook much but had everything we needed as far as kitchen amenities! Pool was closed and the bathtub drain was a little slow- otherwise it was a perfectly convenient ski in/ski out experience! Hosts were always available! We made great memories- enjoyed it!

We were in the need of a “guy” trip no kids I found this listing and booked it a month back or so. A friend of mine for the gym met me there and we stayed 3 nights. The property is well kept, very clean and location the corridor is out the back door. Unit was very nice with a Murphy bed and fold out couch perfect for us we stayed on the mountain and ate in town. Can’t say enough about the unit and location not to mention ski rentals place on the bottom of the condos, very nice people there.thanks again we enjoyed it !!

Fabulous stay here at the Iron Horse Resort, the owners were so gracious and helpful all the time. Gave us some great advice about the local area ( buses etc) Ski in and Ski out was amazing and don’t forget about the amazing Hot Tub and Steam Room too

If you are looking for easy access to the slopes, this is about as close as you can get. You can lock your skis at the end of the hall and exit immediately onto Corona Way.The condo is well appointed and stocked making it convenient for a short stay. Kitchen is well outfitted for cooking. The fireplace helps keep the unit as warm as you would like.Communication with the property manager was helpful as was the checkin notice to make sure you could access the underground garage for parking and all the doors.

It was a wonderful experience. Our studio apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The convenience of skiing daily and returning to the condo for lunch was a major plus, saving us money and allowing for a quick recharge. I think this is probably one of the most convenient units as well. Close proximity to the ski run, storage room, garage and the pool. Location was perfect!We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool every night, and storing our ski gear in the dedicated facility down the hall was incredibly convenient, especially with wet equipment. Carey, our host, was exceptionally responsive and welcoming—definitely one of the best hosts I’ve encountered!If I could suggest one improvement in the unit, it would be the bed comfort (a firmer mattress), as I have a bad back and tend to be picky about mattresses. I know the mattress firmness is subjective though so this doesn’t affect my overall rating. Additionally, simplifying the entry code process for moving around the property would enhance the experience at Iron Horse as a whole, even though I appreciated the security. This is out of the control of the property owners/hosts as this is the same throughout the whole property (garage, storage room, locker room, pool, lobby, game room all require a lengthy code to enter).Overall, I highly recommend this property for a fantastic ski getaway! I’d love to stay here again!

Carey and Julia’s place was super convenient to the slopes and perfectly cozy for a weekend ski getaway! The hot tub and pool area were great. Hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful.

The condo was well-equipped, clean and just a few steps from the ski locker and ski in/ski out. The hosts were very responsive when contacted. We did experience a couple of issues that were more of a nuisance. The bathroom drain needed to be unclogged and the towel bar fell twice and thus needed to be repaired.But overall we were pleased with the quality of the accommodations.

This place is newly updated and is light and bright. Everything you need to enjoy your stay in Winter Park is included. We were able to prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed a restful night's sleep in the comfortable bed. This condo is close to the Winter Park base and allowed for ski in and ski out access. We would absolutely stay in this clean and well maintained unit again.

The location was amazing. The property was clean and we loved it. Communication with Julia and Carey was the best I have dealt with when renting a condo. Iron Horse is a great building and the amenities were far beyond what I expected. We loved the pool, jacuzzi, gym, and ski-in ski-out addition. This condo is on the 5th floor right down the hall from the slopes. We will be using this condo in the future. Thank you to Carey for our helping us out on the first day. Also, thank your to both Julia and Carey for ordering fresh powder for our entire stay.

The stay was phenomenal. A 2 minute indoor walk from the corridor trail made getting out for the day and stopping back for lunch a breeze. Carey and the team were super hospitable and offered us an extra night when the roads were bad. Luckily we beat the storm and made it home but it was nice to know if we had to turn back we had a place to turnSince the pass slid.

This property is perfect for those looking to make the most of their time on the slopes - literally walk out your door, over the bridge connecting D to C and your ski locker is right there! The parking was easy and covered which was nice with the 14” of snow that ensued! The condo clean, warm, and cozy! The owner is great with communication, even checked in with us to make sure we didn’t have any issues accessing the condo or amenities. They also went above and beyond when they discovered I had left my jewlery. Carey reached out directly to tell me and we were able to find a quick resolution! Thank you, thank you, Carey & Julia!
