Ici le client est roi
Hotel situé à proximité d'un restaurant qui évite d'en chercher un quand on arrive tard le soir. Par contre, le GPS a eu un peu de mal à le localiser. Sinon, pas de surprise, il s'agit bien d'un Holiday Inn Express et ses prestations. Cet hotel mériterait un ravalement de façade extérieur. Quant à la propreté et la qualité des chambres, c'est parfait. Beaucoup plus beau à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Un point important à soulever : l'extrême gentillesse et qualité d'accueil de la gérante.Ici le client est roi !!!

Chambre propre et confortable. Salle de bains impeccable. Ambiance calme. Le lit d'appoint est un canapé-lit : 2 petites places, un peu juste pour 2 ados. Petit déjeuner correct (petit déjeuner anglais / "continental" à volonté). A côté il y a un restaurant "Toby" (genre Courtepaille) avec un espace Pub.

bon hotel sans surprise mais confortable avec les atouts de cette chaine, c à d : bouilloire et necessaire pour se faire thé café dans la chambre, télévision et salle de bain dans la chambre. Petit bémol Chambre à l'entresol : bof !! Mauvaise odeur dans le couloir persistante dans la chambre. Pas d'aèration suffisante des chambres

So we went for one night. Although the room and the hotel was clean and it was a peaceful rest, we had paid the price for included breakfast ( buffet) so we paid the extra 17 pound included in the price, when we got down stairs it was literally croissants and tea, other option was for them to make u a sausage sandwich, which we didn't want. As we eat halal meat only. There was no buffet, and no information prior to the stay that due to Covid 19 there wouldnt be a buffet. Although everyone was touching the tea machine to get tea out? If id known the breakfast wasnt a buffet, i would have happily booked something £25 less ended up paying 15 pound for breakfast else where.

Hi, As with all Holiday Inn Express Hotels, breakfast is always included free of charge and is incorporated as part of the room rate. You will have been told on check in that due to the current covid-19 pandemic, breakfast is different to our normal breakfast. We still offer a reasonable breakfast for the rate paid by our guests. We hope to get our normal buffet back soon. However, this still does not include Halal products. Like all other dietry requirements, these can be requested prior to you stay and the hotel will try its best to cater for such needs. The coffee making machine obviously is used by multiple guests, which is why there are facilities for sanitizing hands before and after use and the machine itself kept clean by the strict systems put in place that meet the government recommendations. We look forward to welcoming you again in future , when hopefully our normal systems are back in place.

booked at last minute been before. Disappointing breakfast ordered sandwiches due to covid but failed to top up other breakfast items seemed like too much trouble nice clean room

Thank you for reviewing your stay. Breakfast is limited due to covid. However the staff do top up according to demand, unless we run out of some items from time to time. Our breakfast arrangement is continually changing, as and when appropriate, with a view to slowly bring back our normal breakfast buffet. Please stay again in future to enjoy this. For now, however, the safety of all our guests and staff is paramount and we thank you for your understanding. We stayed one night in this hotel. Staff was friendly and nice, but there was no lift for our heavy luggage. Also room was small for a family. But clean and good facilities.

Room was very hot and no airconditioning in the rooms also ni Buffett breakfast but given sausage sandwiches and a very small selection of other bits.... no fruit juise for tge kids and was told they had run out and there was no alternative. Staff were very nice tho.

Disappointing
We were checked into an accessible room on the ground floor, I questioned this and advised I would prefer an normal room due to the height of the furniture and facilities and were were asked to wait for them to try to relocate us - unfortunately this wasn't possible but they would try for the second night...we asked a number of times but kept being told we need to wait for all new guests to arrive before they could do this so by 10pm on 2nd night we gave up. unfortunately we were near the "staff" / "cleaning" "Kitchen" room and it was incredible noisy from the machinery, washing facilities etc, with alarms going off and the workings of the appliances into the early hours. I recall being out in the corridor at 1.30am on the first night to try find out where it was coming from and I closed a door in the corridor. We tried to discuss this with reception the following morning, but were advised that nothing would have been on at that time! The breakfast hot sandwich was just thrown together and very little care or thought behind it, dry bread, on first morning even the sausages hadn't been cut. We actually compared the facilities to the Travelodge that we have previously stayed in when we go away for work and this didn't match up for comfort, or customer service or facilities & they are a budget hotel that we could have got better nights sleep at a fraction of the cost. We were very disappointed. The only benefit to our stay was the park across the road We wont be staying again.

Normally, we would have been able to room move yourselves to a more suitable room, however on this occasion we were fully booked. Our staff did try hard to room move you, but were unable to do so. Breakfast is very limited at the moment due to Covid restrictions. We are trying hard to get back to our normal breakfast offering as soon as possible. This has even changed again since your departure. We are only able to do things in a certain way, for the safety of all guests and staff. We apologize that the only "hot" items we do at the moment are the sandwiches. This is in an effort to reduce and minimize contact with the food. Please contact me (Ian) at the hotel, as I'd like to discuss how we can redeem your custom, to show you that your experience was a one off and not the norm. Thank you

The hotel is located in the suburbs, it's more for people who drive than those rely on public transport. The room was quite small and cramped. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hi, Thank you for reviewing your stay. You are right the hotel is situated central to Leeds, Wakefield and Rothwell and is mostly accessible by car and public transport. Our room design is pretty standard throughout the brand, but in some instances are maybe a little smaller than others. Staff were lovely. Friendly and extremely helpful even though they were havjng a nightmare with a card machine that wouldn't write the cards properly. Place was nice and clean and breakfast was great, packed bag with bacon rolls. Loved it!

Hard board for babies to sleep on
We requested a travel cot. Which had no mattress...just a hard board and sheet. Which meant the baby had to bed share with us. Mattress was poor. Dipped in the middle. Which meant we were rolling into the centre all night. Woke with Very bad back unable to move.very small room for a family room. With the sofa bed pulled out there was hardly any room to move.

My room ceiling had a leak in it that resulted in my bed becoming wet overnight on account of the heavy rain. I booked a double bed but was given a twin room on check in The address listed on the website does not take you to the exact hotel location when putting it directly into a navigation app (in my case Uber) resulting in us getting lost on route to the hotel

Noisy at night and the walls are paper thin. Breakfast had barely any choice - although can’t really loan if it is “free” Was ok for the price we paid
