Getting Around:
Getting around DC is easy from Lincoln Lofts, whether you're bringing a car or exploring the city car-free! The Lincoln Lofts offer convenient access to Union Market, H Street Corridor, Capitol Hill, Union Station, and downtown Washington, making it easy to experience the best of the city without spending hours in transit.
A Metrobus stop is located just steps from the property, making it easy to reach Union Station, downtown DC, Capitol Hill, and other popular destinations without a car. Several bus routes serve the neighborhood throughout the day.
The NoMa–Gallaudet U Metro Station (Red Line) is approximately a 20-minute walk or a short rideshare away. From there, you'll have direct access to Union Station, downtown DC, Capitol Hill, the National Mall, and beyond.
Parking: Free street parking is typically available throughout the surrounding residential neighborhood. As with most DC neighborhoods, availability can vary based on the time of day.
Arriving from DCA and not renting a car? Take the Yellow Line from Reagan National Airport to Gallery Place, then transfer to the Red Line toward Glenmont and exit at NoMa–Gallaudet U. From there, it's a short rideshare or walk to the property.
Bike Share: Capital Bikeshare stations are located throughout the neighborhood, offering an affordable and convenient way to explore DC's monuments, museums, restaurants, and waterfront districts. The network includes hundreds of stations across the DC metro area.
Rideshare & Car Share: Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the area and typically arrive within minutes. Zipcar and other car-share options are also available nearby for guests who need a vehicle during their stay.

⚠️ NOISE MONITORING AND CAMERA DISCLOSURE
There are Ring cameras on the exterior of the home. They are motion activated, record video and audio, and are active during reservations. There is also a decibel monitoring device located inside and outside the home. This is a smart device that measures decibel levels only and allows us to respond to loud and sustained volumes that may cause a disturbance. It does NOT record conversation or audio, it only measures decibel levels. This helps us to avoid unauthorized events / parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!
🤫 QUIET HOURS
10PM-8AM: We ask that you please keep noise to a minimum from 10pm to 8am every day of the week. Violation of this rule will result in a minimum fine of $500 and termination of the reservation with all remaining nights paid forfeited.
During quiet hours, the maximum allowable noise level is 60 dB outside and 75 dB inside.
At all hours, management reserves the right to determine whether guest activity is creating a disturbance to neighbors, tenants, or other guests. Sustained disturbances — whether or not they exceed numerical dB thresholds — shall constitute a violation of House Rules.
A reference for noise levels, measured in dB, is provided below for your awareness:
50-60 dB - Normal conversation
61-70 dB - Dinner party or loud TV
71-80 dB - Party
81-90 dB - Loud party
91+ dB - Very loud party / amplified

This home style apartment was exactly what we needed. Great value, clean, very pleasant neighborhood. It would be comfortable for a longer stay (we were only there three nights), with a nice sized kitchen, and a good amount of space.
Staying in a residential district rather than in a hotel gave us a welcome new perspective on the city.

My daughter and I loved the apartment! I can’t say enough great things. It was extremely clean and very updated. The neighborhood is quiet which is hard to find in DC. The owner Christian was quick to respond to any questions. I will definitely stay here again.

Washington DC
The amenities were just what we needed for our group to have a meal or two at the rental and get cleaned up and ready to explore DC in the National Mall conveniently and drive to Mount Vernon and Arlington. The adjustment for us was the city parking. Just be sure you pay attention to the signs and be prepared to dress for the weather and comfortable walking as you will do a lot of it. Over all we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for our plans.

A wonderful stay in the neighborhood!
Easy accessible to home, peaceful and safe. We experienced a small problem with the internet for the t.v., but it was immediately resolved a text message. Christian was quick to respond to all my concerns. My only suggestion would be to add another tv in one of the other bedrooms, because we did not want to watch the same shows. Also, the sofa is extremely uncomfortable as you feel the irons and springs and there is no other place to sit and watch tv. The neighbors were nice and friendly. Christian was a great host.

Cute and cozy
We drove up from SC for our son's spring break. Upon arrival, we saw that the place wasn't turned over and cleaned since the last guests. The owners immediately said to go get something to eat while they turn over the apartment. They paid for our Ubers and dinner while the place was getting tidied up. It shows that they care about their tenants and are willing to work with you to resolve any issues. The space was perfect for our small family and was close to most everything. You can walk (5 minutes) to H street and grab the free streetcar there to take you to Union Station and all that the National Mall has to offer. There are some great restaurants and dive bars around the corner from the apartment, as well. Great hosts and great space. We will definitely be back:)
PS We totally lucked out and were there for the cherry blossoms. Highly recommend walking the basin while in bloom!

Peaceful, comfy refuge in the big city!
This bright, modern space, and Christian’s accessibility and kindness, made our DC visit simple and fun! We never met him, but entry was easy and he stayed in touch as needed.
Two comfy beds (in separate bedrooms,) plus a sofa for the 22- and 24yo kids to alternate nights on, and a compact, complete kitchen with handy washer/dryer, made us feel welcome.
Location was an enjoyable 30-minute walk to the Union Station Metro. Bust stop around the corner delivered an easy ride on another day. We later rented a car (for visit with granny 3 hours down I-95), that we parked on the same block as the unit, no prob.
Suggestions for minor improvements:
* a non-slip mat for the bathtub
* enough coffee pods for all guests, all the days of the stay, + a few more for us 2-cup/morning caffeine addicts. (There were only a couple pods total in the drawer beneath the machine.)
