Hotel is showing its age. Dissappointed I did not notice that it was pet friendly. So I did not like the idea of being in a room that had been used by a dog. I do not like pets. It is cruel to cart these animals around and expect them to be in a hotel. There was a distinct smell of dogs in the hotel.

Booked pet friendly hotel room for 1 night through Hotels.com. Paid full non refundable accommodation fee. Arrived late afternoon 12 January to be told surcharge for dogs $50 extra non refundable. Nothing on Hotels.com or advised when we confirmed booking by phone. Nothing on their terms and conditions. RIPPED OFF - POOR SERVICE. Room comfortable but tired. Not cleaned properly from last guests.

After checking in informed that additional charge of $50 on top of expedia booking. Broken fittings in room, changed rooms to find more broken fittings and room infested with earwigs after we found one in the bed. Killed 20 sprayed room with bug killer and went back to original room to sleep overnight. Would not recommend

The young lad at the front counter looked after us with a early check in as we came up from Sydney. Couple of stains on the carpet, I hope they weren't from someone's pet. Other than that, top notch!!

Disappointing. As a person that needs to travel a lot for work, there are a few key features required in motel accommodation. Clean, quiet, and a good night's sleep. Unfortunately this Mantra allows pets to stay on premise in rooms, this means dogs barking and yapping at different times during the night, owners telling them to be quiet, and the whole lot triggering off other dogs in neighbouring rooms. Although good intentions for Manta Wagga, it does not suit our requirements. The hotel is good, the disruptions to rest is not.

Based on our experience and the room we were given, avoid this hotel! The room was in such disrepair, after we checked out it was closed to all other guests until further notice. Fortunately the manager at Mantra that morning did acknowledge our concerns and extended a majority refund on our one night stay. Never going back.

Four adults stayed one night only. We choose 2 bedroom deluxe unit and after check-in, we were allocated in room 210, the bathroom condition was poor with leaked shower, cracked tiles and moulded wall above the toilet.

There was a constant compressor sound all night, beds were uncomfortable and the room was old and tired looking. Bathroom and toilet area was not user friendly at all. Only bonus was proximity to eateries and the shower pressure
