stale urine

Mattress smelled like stale urine, youd think the staff would have smelt it when making the bed. I was exhausted and just crashed on the couch instead. Would have preferred to stay elsewhere.

Good location for us

It’s a nice hotel and we like staying there and our room was very good, however we were in room 114 and it seemed to be right next to the kitchen we thought and there was a lot of banging of pots etc making it a little in pleasant, also the hallway lights to the room could be brighter as the lighting is poor.

This is a nice hotel located close to Wagga Beach and in general in a nice area of town. Recommended!

great location close to lots of amenities

Les + : its location quiet at night not a lot of traffic as down end of the town. but not that far away could walk to shops food etc
Les - : maybe include breakfast in room price and have small table to eat at if you bring your own food, otherwise you have to sit on the bed
Situation : easy to find plenty of parking. lots of pubs eateries bowling alley and cinemas 5 min walk. major shopping was only 5 min drive plenty of parks
our stay was for medical reasons. found staff very helpful and friendly. room was quite and close to foyer as i am older it was good not to have to use stairs or lifts.

overall stay was good we had dinner and breakfast in restaurant and the food was good

Waste of money

Possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. Definetly not worth the $255 I paid. Very dirty phone didn't work bugs in the light fittings walls had been patched up but not painted.

Didn't live up to high rating

Les + : Friendly service, big shower with large shower head and good pressure, good amount of power points in the room.
Les - : Paint the walls, change the curtains, get some sound proofing or ask your cleaners to be mindful of privacy requests.
Situation : Lovely country town, nice and close to the river to go for a walk and access to good cafes for food and coffee.
While the service was friendly and helpful, and the room had a lovely big shower, and more power points than you usually get, there is nothing else good I can say. The walls are paper thin, so that I felt like the cleaner in the next room talking on her phone was in my room (while we had our privacy request on our door). You also won't get any kind of sleep in with the noise coming from the Atrium area which can also be clearly heard in your room. The walls were either chipped or touched up (with white paint on a coffee coloured wall) and the curtains were tattered and had holes. The one window that opened was broken so that you had to hold the winding mechanism together in order to open or close for fresh air. The bed was lumpy and sagging in the middle although everything felt as clean as it could be considering the run down condition of the room. Considering the range of accommodation available in Wagga Wagga, I think I'll try somewhere else next time.

was looking forward to watching essendon v swans in the afl on saturday arvo & returned to the room to find no reception on the telly for channel 7 at all, all other free to air channels were fine, then i thought i will see if they have foxtel with fox footy -- alas no -- & the foxtel reception was very very poor also too much paper work handed out at arrival that would all end up in the bin -- too wasteful bed was comfortable

I will engage our Maintenance Manager to rectify the situation straight away. I will also revisit our check in procedures to ensure our processes are more sustainable. Nice hotel close to the main street

This Mantra is about a 3.5 star. Nice, clean and tidy but starting to look a little tired. Hotel staff very friendly.
