Waste of money

Possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. Definetly not worth the $255 I paid. Very dirty phone didn't work bugs in the light fittings walls had been patched up but not painted.

Good location with quiet rooms. Air conditioning was a bit hit and miss, though staff were responsive trying to resolve.

Unfortunately had a room next to the night entrance so got a little noise later in the evening. Restaurant food was ok but pricey. Cool bar / atrium area. Rooms are adequate but nothing amazing. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Close to the venue we were attending

Great walking distance to the Thirsty Crow for the function we attended. Room was comfortable. Bathroom a tad awkward. Restaurant - the buckets they use for coffee are too big- I didn't find it enjoyable to have - tried it twice - at breakfast asked for a smaller cup- got the same bucket- they just can't make coffee- went to another place to have my coffee-unfortunately.

No hot water

A three night stay with only one hot shower due to some sort of maintenance issue but not offered any other room or shower.

Good afternoon Treena, Please accept our sincere apologies for your recent experience here at the Mantra Pavilion due to the issues with the hot water system. On the first morning of your stay we were made aware of the issue and had the plumber attend the issue along with myself to ensure that the issue was solved. Once this was completed we tested the hot water to which it was flowing through. I am not sure as to what happened after this but please accept our sincere apologies for this on-going issue. Since your departure, we have monitored the room for any further hot water issues and we are pleased to advise that there have been no further issues. Warm and heavy curtains made it easy to sleep.

Les + : Quite and spacious.
Les - : Unpleasant smell in the corridor outside our room when we arrived. It might have been sewerage pipe or rotten garbage. Gone on the Sunday morning.
Situation : Easy walk into town for breakfast.

Nice hotel, lovely room, helpful staff. Room was freezing - even with aircon on 24 all night!

Needs maintenance

Hotel staff were great, but the foyer/restaurant tent roof needed a good clean and maintenance. Room also needed maintenance.
