Séjour "côté ferme"
Séjour agréable car chambre spacieuse dans un cadre de campagne avec une ferme très proche donc beaucoup de mouches. Le service restauration est parfait et les petits déjeuners faits maison, très copieux. la piscine est séparée de l'hotel mais rafraichissante avec la chaleur, avec son petit bar sur place.

Encore un petit effort et cet hôtel sera EXCELLENT Très grande chambre (environ 60m2) bien aménagée dans une ancienne écurie, le tout dans un bel ensemble de bâtiments comprenant un bâtiment principal, une chapelle , d'autre annexes récentes le tout dans un paysage agréable. Personnel très accueillant mais ne parlant que peu ou pas du tout d'autre langue que l'italien. Bonne restauration y compris petit déjeuner. A améliorer outre les capacités linguistiques, mettre le chauffage avant l'arrivée des clients pour également absorber une humidité particulièrement élevée durant notre séjour fin décembre. Essayer de donner des cartes qui permettent d'arriver de Raguse facilement...sans GPS on peut tourner facilement en rond. S'agissant d'un site agrotouristique, il faut aimer les animaux: vaches, chevaux et chiens car tous sont nombreux...cequi fût un plus pour nous ne l'est pas nécessairement pour d'autres.

Nice base to explore Donnafugata, local beaches and southern Sicily more generally. Be aware that you may need to use local restaurants in the evening (five minute drive). Went here on honeymoon and would happily return.

Da dimenticare
Struttura potenzialmente soddisfacente ma, realmente, non corrispondente a ciò che si prospetta sul sito. Problemi che mi hanno costretto ad un pesante diverbio col personale. Piscina impraticabile (acqua torbida, piume ed insetti che galleggivano e assenza di ricircolo dell'acqua) cassaforte non funzionante e spazi comuni non puliti da tempo e destinati a deposito di masserizie non più utilizzabili.

Die Anlage liegt in einer schönen u. ländlichen Gegend. Das Zimmer war groß, das Badeimmer leider ungepflegt, die Duschbadewanne mit Abtrennung leider defekt. Für das Öffnen des einzigen Mülleimers war Werkzeug notwendig. Der Pool, der auf der Internetseite gepflegt in der ländlichen Gegend liegt, hat bereits lange seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Das Restaurant und der Pool war abgetrennt von der eigentlichen Hotelanlage, sodass die Zugehörigkeit erkannt und diese erstmal gefunden werden mussten.

Beautiful, relaxing location
We spent 2 nights at this hotel. The room was really comfortable. The only flaw was how long it took to get hot water but we were told about it so wasn't really a problem. The staff were friendly and although they did not speak much (no) English and we do not speak much (no) Italian, we were still able to communicate with them. The food was delicious.

Something totally different!
This is a lovely working farm but with all the modern conveniences available. Room was comfortable with a beautiful view. The onsite restaurant has excellent food for both breakfast and dinner - didn't try lunch. Rossana was an excellent host in the restaurant in the evenings. A little village is around the corner if you wanted something a bit different. Enjoyed our stay here.

Stilvoll und ruhig
Nachdem wir im Dunkeln endlich das Hotel gefunden hatten (vom Flughafen Comiso theoretisch ca. 30 Minuten), erhielten wir noch nach 22 Uhr im Restaurant etws zu essen. Wir hatten ein sehr grosses Zimmer (stilvoll umgewandelter Stall). Leider ist das Bad etwas klein geraten. Herrlich ruhige Lage, die einzige Beeintraechtigung ist die "Landluft" von den den nahen Staellen. Fruehstueck und Abendessen im angeschlossenen Restaurant sehr gut

Magical experience BUT not for everyone
I personally loved the agriturismo but it is a working farm and there are horses, cows, pigs and dogs and when you get out of the car there is an animal smell. After a few minutes you don't notice it and the place is lovely, the room incredibly large, comfortable and very clean with a kitchenette and a bistro table just outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and the surroundings. If you are sensitive to smell, AVOID but if you are adventurous and want something outside the box, this place was great. Down the way, 2-3 minute walk, they had a building where we dined and the breakfast was incredible and the dinners were definitely FINE DINING at very reasonable prices. This was good as the drive was about a 15 minute to Ragusa and it was so easy to eat right there. The pool looked nice but we were there the beginning of October so it looked like they were ready to close.

Something completely different, a farm with class!
Such a different experience to be surrounded by converted cow troughs whilst in bed was a unique experience. The renovation to this farm property is exceptional and every room has its own character.if you are looking for something different that is away from it all, stay here. The restaurant is very good and despite us being the only ones there one of the evenings the service and the menu choice was still of a high quality. We did have problems finding the farm and unfortunately no one could speak English when I rang for directions. We finally got there by finding donnafugarta castle and asking directions from there,then just 2 Kms away. ENJOY we did!!!!!!

Abbiamo dormito in questo hotel una notte dopo essere arrivati purtroppo a notte fonde per un ritardo del volo da fiumicino per comiso ed il personale ci ha atteso per il checkin fuori orario.

Great hotel in a quiet rural location
We had a very relaxing time here - the breakfast was delicious; the swimming pool had great views of the countryside; the room was large and comfortable; the staff were friendly and welcoming and there is a superb restaurant on site. It's a good base if you don't want to stay in a town but in the countryside and we enjoyed visiting the local attractions, seaside and baroque towns

We had a great week, hotel was off the beaten track which suited us, very restful. Ideally situated to visit the coast, Donnafugata, Ragusa, Siracusa etc. Got to see the Casa de Montalbano and swim in the sea there. Visited several good beaches. Spent some time in Catania before boarding the plane home, well worth a visit, wish we had longer there.

Great location in Ragusa! We loved our stay!!!
Wow...We do not know why more Americans have not come to Ragusa! It is the most relaxing vacation. The place is a converted old farm surrounded with gorgeous olive trees, ancient medieval castles, woderful beaches near by and archeological wonders. The rooms are well accommodated with new type bathrooms and well priced gourmet meals. The breakfasts are complete with tons of great choices from different egg dishes to flan and wonderful pastries, all included. The rooms are eell appointed. The pool, farm animals and scenery add to the beauty. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

So my daughter and son in law dropped me off I the middle of no where, as they were staying with friends at an nearby villa. Oh wasn't I lucky even though I did not think so at first. The property is located within a working farm, but is not a farm stay as such. It is however a very comfortable establishment and staff just couldn't do enough for me!

Country charm in southern Sicily.
My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay during the last week of June. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the resturant just outside the main gate. The cold buffet is ample and the coffee rich. Dinner ( not included) is offered each evening from 1930 - 2200 with a selection of fresh dishes of southern Sicilian style and family favorites. The pool offered a refreshing break from the daily heat. The farm animals provided a pleasant chorus to serenade us off to sleep each night. Car required. A short drive to the beaches at Marina di Ragusa and Donnalucata. Less than 5 minutes from the beautiful historic Donnafugata Castle. Views down to the sea.

Well situated to reach tourist towns in the area and pleasant rural spot. Modernised old farm buildings but still a little bleak. Rommel very large and well appointed but with very little opening window meaning air on almost always had to be used. Comfortable but eg no free drinking water provided. Staff tried too be helpful it no one spoke a word of English which was a bit of a problem. Breakfast was adequate but no changes over three days. In short despite the expensive make-over, the Hotel was a little disappointing. It would. Enefit from tighter and more understanding management.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Die Villa wurde sehr schön renoviert, alle sanitären Anlagen waren in einem sehr guten, sehr sauberen Zustand. Die Zimmer waren sehr individuell eingerichtet, die Balkone boten einen schönen Ausblick auf einen zauberhaften, fast schon exotischen Garten mit super Pool/Liegen-Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich vielfältig und von ausgewählter Qualität, ebenso das Abendmenü... und der Service ganz reizend und sehr persönlich - mit viel Stil!!! Auch die Gäste waren sehr sympathisch, wir fühlten uns wie bei guten Freunden.... In 10 Minuten waren wir an einem sehr schönem Strand mit anschließender interessanter Uferlandschaft. Perfekt.

Very Comfortable Night
Exceeded our expectations! We used the GPS coordinates (provided on hotels.com map) to locate the hotel as it was a few miles from city. We would definitely book here again sometime. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent! Large and very clean rooms.

Sehr übsches Hotel in sehr ruhige Lage, nähe meer!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in das Hotel. Signora Emanuela ist immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen und die Kellnerin in Restaurant sehr proffesionel und öfflich. Wir haben immer sehr gut gefühstückt und jeden Tag die neugeborene Kälbchen. Kühe, Schweine, Katze und Hunde waren jeden Tag auch von uns begrüsst. Die Pferde gab es auch und sehr schöne! Auch wenn wir sie nicht immer besucht haben.

Farm Getaway
Hotel really is in the Country, must have a car. We booked 2 nights and were extremely happy. Relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of the larger cities but close enough for a driving tour into Ragusa or other smaller towns. Hotel is on a working farm with horses, pigs, cattle and dogs. Very quiet and peaceful even with all the animals. Ask for the end room near the restaurant, only a very short walk to dining. Room was very large and updated. Highly recommend the restaurant, food was reasonably priced, and great quality. Service was outstanding. We ate both nights here, breakfast outstanding, all meals were better than most of the larger city restaurants we sampled. We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing the various animals. Everyone was very friendly. We attended Mass on Sunday morning at the very nearby Donnafugata Castle, an interesting visit itself. Highly recommend this property.

Un buon b&b ma non un albergo 4 stelle
Prezzo eccessivo rispetto ai servizi offerti; pensavo di aver prenotato un resort per trovare una struttura più simile a un b&b che non una struttura alberghiera a 4 stelle. Assente il bar e gli spazi comuni dove rilassarsi o leggere un giornale. Il baglio e solo in parte ristrutturato, confinante con un canile, un allevamento di mucche e maiali (caratteristico, ma non chiaramente evidenziato sul sito). La stanza, anche se molto grande mal progettata e mal divisa, senza finestre se non la porta a vetri di accesso che si apriva sul parcheggio ...infine l'addebito (ad un prezzo esagerato) delle due bottigliette di acqua del frigobar in camera. Peccato non capire che a volte forse conviene rinunciare a qualche spicciolo.

Immerso nella campagna ragusana. Tutto cio' che vi aspettate lo troverete. Belle le stanze , moderne e comode. Servizio ottimo. Si trova molto vicino al castello di donnafugata. Realizzato con gusto. Colazione ottima.

расположен на полпути между Рагузой и пляжами
Очень понравилось: гостеприимная хозяйка Мануэла (говорит только по-итальянски), оригинальный декор номеров, расположенных в старинной родовой асьенде (фермерском доме) в типично южно-сицилийской местности. У нас было 2 номера: один обычный 2-местный, второй - с антресолью (двуспальная кровать) , двумя 2-местными диванами (раскладываются при необходимости) внизу и миникухней. Диваны очень удобны для сна, кухней не пользовались, но холодильник очень пригодился в июльскую жару. За использование кухни - доп. плата 20 евро в сутки. До Рагузы ехать 15 минут по живописной дороге. Очень рекомендуем.
