Location for the bus station was perfect. There was no view from the bedroom as 3/4 of each window was bricked up by a pre existing wall. We only wanted to stay one night but had no option to buy only one night so had to pay for two. There was no provision for breakfast before 07{15 and our bus left at 07:00. There was a very nice coffee machine in the room but no way to boil water for tea so no tea available or milk. I reported a problem with the air conditioning and the girl on the desk said she would make a note and wrote it down. That is all she did and no one came about it so room was very warm. Room was good and nice shower room

We arrived from the Venice Airport by bus and found it very easy and convenient to locate the hotel. However, it is a very busy area because it is the only area accessible by car. It is also very close to the train station e.g. 5 minutes distance walk. You can easily get back to the hotel from anywhere in Venice by following the direction to the train which makes it less stressful to navigate Venice. The room was comfortable for three people but did not have blinds to account for daylights, it had see through linen. We may have missed something?? You can also buy coffee and croissant close by at a reasonable price.

Overall just a mediocre experience at the hotel. Very small hotel with only 1 lady for housekeeping service. We had to be very proactive to make sure our room got cleaned. Unfortunately I didn't find hotel staffs to be particularly attentive or friendly. Location wise it is unbeatable.

Not only was the property beautiful and the staff accommodating, but it was centrally located to walking the surrounding area. We loved our view of the canal! Thank you for a lovely stay, we would stay there again if we get back to Venice!

Hotel Santa Chiara is in a very convenient location, particularly for those traveling with large luggage. Trains and taxis are easily accessible, and the area is a bit more quiet than the more central area of Venice. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff are very friendly and efficient. They made me feel very well taken care of during my stay.

The room, for which a premium was paid to have a canal view, while very nice was NOT maintained commensurate with the charges. Shower heads, while multiple for a relaxing experience, created a flood in the bathroom such that they could not be used. There was a recessed light hanging from the bathroom ceiling over the shower, with exposed wires. NO shirt/dress hangers in the closet. Despite confirming so ahead of arrival, toiletries did not include conditioner upon check-in. The air conditioning did NOT work and we were given a hard time about wanting to move to another room. When moved into the second room after the AC didn't work, the tub did not drain properly. The location was very NOISY with street noise & noise of patrons at the outdoor seating area/bar. The guest services person at check out was rude and did not provide the same level of friendly service as those who proceeded his shift.

Wonderful Venezia
Great hotel so conveniently located so that you don’t have to drag you luggage over bridges. We we upgraded to a grand canal view and that made our 2 day stay even more wonderful in a city that is like no other in the world. :)) Gracie Mille!!

Staff went above and beyond for us. Free room upgrade for 2 of our four rooms. Plus got us to the airport when the taxi system in Venice failed us. We were a large family group and they were amazing. Rooms were beautiful! Position was busy near the bus terminals but the whole of Venice is busy. Plus our cab dropped us right to our door which we really appreciated when we saw people rolling suitcases along busy cobbled footpaths. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

Very Enjoyable Stay
Beautiful hotel, situated near both train and bus station. Very nice and accommodation staff, rooms were well kept nice and clean. Breakfast was a little standard but was good enough for a persons needs, and again the staff were excellent and accommodating for breakfast. If I was going back to Venice, I will definitely try and stay at this hotel again.

This is a beautiful hotel very close to the train station. It is well managed, very clean, quiet and next to the water taxis and other Venice transportation links. We stayed in room 105, so perfect with a balcony overlooking the canal and other river commutes as well as a beautiful park across the bridge. Breakfast is delicious, they have a bar, and many lounges that you can relax in. A perfect property, walkable to everything.

It didn't meet my expectations, we went for the honeymoon vacation, unfortunately we were not satisfied with the breakfast, the room cleaning, the internet wifi, the bad bed. Two separate beds were put together, it hurt our back. We stayed in the suite room, but they didn't make a single gesture to deserve that fee for our honeymoon. They didn't even put a flower. for us. The breakfast service was always wrong and wrong. Suite 402 room is dark and boring, because the blinds don't open, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
