Overall hotel was clean and parking was ample, but the food odor was difficult to adjust to. It seems many guests cook in their rooms and it was apparent. I couldn’t place my finger, or nose, on the cuisine but it might have been a mix of Far East, Indian, American and perhaps African. In any case we awoke each morning to a strong smell of an exotic breakfast, and at night another dose of a potpourri of food odors.
The room itself was relatively clean but there was no soap, shampoo, or bath mat. We bought necessities at a nearby Marshall’s, and used a bath towel as a bath mat. Also, one washcloth was washed but stained with brown soil, as if someone had just used it after a long day riding a dirt bike. Unappealing to say the least.
The beds and pillows were comfy but there were a few small stains on the sheets that made my mind wonder to some darker places I figure it shouldn’t wonder while on vacation.
Better venting, ie not recirculated, would be a huge cost but an equally huge improvement. The rest I can deal with. It was my first and probably last stay at any of these extended stay places.
