La vue sur les temples + la Tokyo Skytree tower depuis la chambre du 11ème et dernier étage était superbe ! L'hôtel est très bien placé dans la quartier d'Asakusa, proche du plus vieux temple de Tokyo (un peu excentré du reste de la ville, donc plus calme et traditionnel). Le personnel est au petit soin et la chambre était très propre. Comme toujours au Japon, la chambre était très bien équipée (brosses à dent, eau, coton, shampoing, crèmes...)

This area is good for younger people as it becomes alive with many bars open at night. The area is too crowded with many tourists visiting the Senso-ji Temple and the big Don Quixote store open 24 hrs. I would recommend to stay 2 nights maximum and move move to another part of Tokyo.

Walkable to Asakusa station. Many restaurants located close by. Room was clean but found there was an odd smell in the bathroom. Did provide amenities such as lotions, shaving cream for men, toothbrushes, etc. complimentary bottled water in the room was nice to have (although the tap water is totally drinkable).

Big room and bathroom, very clean. Can't say much about the staff as I only got contact during check-in. My room was in the 11th floor and had a impressive view over the shrine. The area is vibrant and full of energy, a few footsteps away from Senso-Ji-Shrine. Trains and bus are just a couple of minutes away.

The rooms are a bit small but have everything you need. The location is the best. Walked to Sky Tree a couple of times. And the most wonderful temple right next door. The neighborhood always fun but quiets down at night.

The room was great and what we expected size wise. Even better choosing the view option of the shrine and sky tree absolutely loved it at night. The area is jammed packed with shopping, dinning and activities. Regardless of the noise outside the rooms were quiet and subways are a short walk. Would recommend and would try other Richmond properties. Only thing negative was the laundry machines. Washer dryer in one didn’t dry the clothes at all and had to add more time. 2 1/2 hours in the machine. But there are walkable options. Would not affect our future decisions to stay here.

아사쿠사 긴자선에서 걸어서 10분거리정도 되지만 엑세스 특급으로 나리타공항까지 바로 갈 수 있고 근처 아사쿠사 구경하기에도 너무 좋았습니다. 숙소는 깔끔하고 직원분들이 정말 친절하십니다.

Great hotel for business, family, vacation
The Richmond is a great place to stay in Asakusa; it's clean, affordable and the rooms are quite generously-sized by Japan/Tokyo standards. (I think mine was ~150 square feet, any hotels that were less expensive were 105-118 square feet, which would have been very cramped.) I also found it to be very quiet, which is nice when you're jet-lagged. It's close to things, and literally next door to Hoppy street; the heart of Asakusa is just to the East and South, all of it very easily walkable. The one downside is that it's about a 10-minute walk from the main Asakusa train station, and the closest exit (that Google Maps directs you to) has several flights of stairs that are a PITA to navigate with bags. (I was on a 3-week biz trip, so had two suitcases plus a camera bag and computer bag to lug, so it was a significant hassle getting up and out of the station.) The main Asakusa station is the one you need to use to get to/from Haneda airport, so it's a nuisance - but you'd have to deal with this with most any other hotel in the area as well. The walk to the hotel itself isn't bad. The Ginza line is good for getting other places in Tokyo, and the Tawaramachi station is closer. Asakusa is an interesting place to visit as it's on of the oldest areas of Tokyo, with a lot history. OTOH, it's far from Shibuya and Shinjuku, which are areas I like to visit when I'm there. I'll probably stay on the westside next time, but the Richmond is a great place to stay if you're visiting Asakusa.

房間整潔，收拾得也很好，附近就是淺草寺，飲食店也很多，喜歡人多熱鬧的就非常適合，車站的話個人感覺有一點點遠，常用的都營淺草和銀座線大概走十分鐘左右，拖行李去機場記得是都營淺草A2b出口才有升降機，但整體都很滿意

The room was extremely clean and roomy (for Tokyo!), bed amazingly comfortable, quiet (didn’t hear a peep from adjacent guests), the staff were wonderful, the area has so many good options for coffee, food, small bars, walks and day trips, trains were close (no need for taxis) and laundry service was excellent. Will definitely stay again

The location is excellent. The room is comfortable and the cost was reasonable. Close to a train station and walkable to everything you will need.
