Prit pour une nuit car on avait un vol à Gatewick tôt le lendemain. Le staff est gentil et serviable, c'est calme et à 10 minutes à pieds de la gare de Horley (deux stations de Gatewick). La chambre familiale était un peu petite, mais les lits étaient très confortable, donc excellent choix pour une nuit. Je recommande.

Séjour de 3 nuits. Esprit des lieux « cocooning », agréable. Situation idéale pour visiter Londres. Gare Horley à 10 minutes à pied. Chambre propre. Petit déjeuner continental à la hauteur. Seul petit bémol, la salle de bain/wc, trop petite. Lavabo hors d’âge equipé de 2 robinets indépendants, un froid et un chaud...! Savais pas que ça existait encore !.... service agréable et gérant courtois et arrangeant.

Excellent séjour; la chambre était très propre et très confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner; excellent emplacement avec le centre ville, les restaurants et la gare d'Horley à proximité, ainsi que l'aéroport de Gatwick. Ce fut un grand plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel; Franck et toute l'équipe sont très efficaces et sympathiques, et nous ont donné de bons conseils. Comme a la maison, feel at home
Excellente adresse pour un séjour en Angleterre avec une localisation idéale pour visiter Londres et de belles villes du Sussex. On note l'hospitalité du personnel, la chambre douillette, le délicieux déjeuner et l'environnement de cet hôtel. On recommande et on reviendra sous peu, promis ! Feel at home with this excellent hotel. Nice room, very good breakfast, nice surrounding. We recommend and we will come back soon !

Great stay
I had a great stay at the hotel. Frank the owner was clear with communication and very friendly. He even upgraded my room for free which I greatly appreciated. The room and bathroom were clean. I definitely recommend this place for a comfortable stay.

Great value, especially for location close to train station and airport. Room was clean and had everything you need for short stays / business travel. Everything worked as it should and the host was very friendly and helpful.

5* really lovely place to stay
Fabulous service, there was someone there waiting to meet us even though we arrived late in the evening. Room was lovely and clean, bigger than we were expecting. Bed was super comfy, slept all night. Nice and quiet.

We stayed for one night following a very late arrival at Gatwick. Out of hours access was clear and simple. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We spoke to the owner in the morning who was very helpful

Very pleased we stayed here
Excellent location 8 minutes from the North Terminal, spotless room, very quiet very good area. We left at 8am on a Monday and reached short stay airport parking less than ten minutes later. Lots of places to eat nearby. Price was very good, way better than airport hotel.

I stayed here for 1 night between flights during the coronavirus "season." Frank was very quick to respond to messages and easy to coordinate with - and this despite the last-minute reservation. Very comfortable bed, very clean room and the tea and snacks in the room were much appreciated! I didn't have a chance to try the breakfast because of an early flight. Very easy check-in, check-out, a pleasant experience in the midst of a chaotic world!

We were completely satisfied with out stay at the Villa Verde. Thank you so much for being so friendly, professional, and conscientious, especially during this trying time (Covid-19 outbreak). The service was exceptional -- not only did they order us a taxi to the airport for our flight home the next day, but they slipped a note under our door confirming in writing the pick-up time and the taxi phone number, so we felt 100% confident it was coming. The location is great -- 5 minute taxi service to Gatwick airport; shops and restaurants and convenience items all within 10 minutes walk. We had dinner at Ye Olde Six Bells near the inn -- excellent food, service, and ambience. We would definitely stay at the Villa Verde again. Cheers, Linda, Michelle, and Jesse (Canada)

Extremely close to Gatwick, perfect for an overnight layover (and more if you want). Honestly, this was the most immaculate place I've stayed in in a while. Every surface was spotless and my stay was so comfortable. Gave detailed instructions for checking in after hours and the staff were super helpful during check out. Would recommend to everyone!

A very beautiful hotel and very clean everything. The beds are very confortable and the showers Works perfectly. The personal of the hotel are very kindly and they helped us in everything we needed. My martes adm I recomend totaly this hotel. We will repeat if we go again to visit London because is very closed to Gatwick airport and next to the train station to go to London bridge station in only 40 minutes.

Perfect place
It was a very quiet and convenient 2 floor small hotel near the airport with easy access either by taxi, or bus 20 or 100. 5 minutes or so from Gatwick airport. Breakfast was good too, Continental, Full English, wide choice. Friendly staff.

The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and within minutes of our arrival we were in our room. The room was clean and smelt fresh. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel very quiet. The hotel itself is a five minute walk from restaurants, takeaways and a pub.

Very nice spot, 7 minutes from Gatwick airport, comfortable, clean, homey, with a friendly staff, and a nice / reasonable breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, but a bit small. The fire alarms were sensitive enough to be set off by a hot shower.
