Spacious lobby and common seating areas with comfy chairs, oversized gas fireplaces, and an adjacent bar with a shuffle board and foosball make it a place to unwind outside of one's room. Nice hot tub but outdoor pool wasn't sufficiently heated. Shuttle service to the various slopeside villages was a very welcome service.

The hotel itself was fine. Our room had a very strong curry odor upon entering. So bad that we wanted to switch rooms. We went to the front desk about 5 minutes after check in and he told us that since we already “used” the room and housekeeping was off for the day, that we could not move rooms. We had to sleep with the window open all night to keep the odor at bay. The pool area and hot tub were nice. One guy at the front was super friendly. Convenient to I-70 and the town of Frisco and many ski resorts.

It is in a great location and easy to get into town and to the ski resorts. The water in the hot tub was hot but it was somewhat in a state of disrepair and the water level was low most days overall that wasn’t bad the pool was a little bit cold, but I enjoyed the cold water. I parked in the back and it was a great location in terms of distance from my room, but the back parking lot was a little bit in disrepair, and it was quite a bit muddy and on shoveled on most of the days The value of what you get for this hotel wasn’t bad, but I was hoping for a little bit higher quality stay my room was not bad and the staff maintained it during the week while I was staying there.

The staff was very helpful and inviting. The rooms were clean and cleaning staff was prompt. The gym only had 2 working ellipticals so that was disappointing - the rest of the equipment was broken.

The hotel was run down and not clean. Our bathroom was dirty, we had to clean it before we used it. The vent fan in bathroom did not work either. Carpet in room was sticky, we kept socks or shoes on at all times. No smoke detector in the room. Stains on furniture and walls. Just over a cheap, run down hotel. Don’t waste your money here.

The check-in/check-out process what really easy. Very nice staff. The beds in the rooms are doubles and very small for two people and one of our beds was broken. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel and I would NOT NOT recommend going there for ANY meal. We got nachos to go and they were not edible. Clumpy cheese and jalapeños. Nothing else on them. There are 2 hot tubs which was nice after a day of skiing.

The property was pretty outdated/old and very basic, like a simple Super-8 or Days Inn motel, but it cost $400 , which was of course only due to proximity to the nearby ski areas. The room was really small, as were the beds. Fortunately, at our request, the staff did bring an additional cot at no extra price. The pool and hot tub areas were in good condition. There were no nice places to go for food or drinks within walking distance, only fast food. The adjoining restaurant did not have a liquor license and looked like a Denny’s. The staff was friendly and helpful and the property was clean, although smelled of strong cleaning products. The decorations and ambiance were extremely limited. Overall, the place served our needs, but for the price was quite a disappointment. We do not plan to stay there again.

The property details says it has a bar.It does but they don’t have a license to sell alcohol..it has a restaraunt but it’s only Mexican food.The booths are old and tattered.The rest of the hotel was nice.

Hard to find, generic entrance, low quality dining. The name Grand Hotel is giving an impression of older classic hotel. It is instead generic, low end utilitarian hotel in an uninteresting area.

My Wife and I had a great and comfortable stay while here. The location is really great. 15 minute drive to Breckenridge and about the same to Keystone. Was minutes away from downtown Frisco and right next to Starbucks. Very convenient:). The only downside was the staff or lack thereof. We had to wait about 15 minutes when we walked in to check in at about 5pm for staff to come to the front desk. Not a great first impression. There were other times when we needed something and came to the front desk and no one was there. Other than that I would recommend this place.

Its a hotel that's seen better days. The facility looks good from the outside but needs updating on the inside. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable but furniture is worn. The gym has decent machines but needs a new bench and more variety than two 50lb dumbells.

I want to give this hotel a 4 or 5 star rating but after the interaction I had with the manager via the front desk. Winter storm came through last night and knocked out the power. Totally not their fault, I get that. However we went multiple hours without heat, lights or any power. When I asked for a partial refund or a discount towards another night I was told “absolutely no refunds”. We checked in and got ready for dinner, had maybe an hour in the hot tub which was great, so overall less than 2 hours in the room before losing the power. I was told, I stayed there I pay the full price. We would have taken a breakfast voucher or something! Super inconsiderate and clearly only cares about the money. Will be staying elsewhere next time we are in town.

I booked 2 nights. For some reason my key card did not after the first night. I was skiing all day, then visited with friends until late. I returned at midnight. My key did not work. I waited at the front desk for 10 minutes or so then knocked on the employee door near the front desk. No one came out. In man time, my son tried his card - it did not work. I then called the hotel and they told me to go to the front desk. I was able to get new cards around 12:40. So exhausted and disappointed. Not sure why cards didnt work when we were booked for 2 nights!

Avoid... really bad!
The place smells a mix of Mexican Food and Pot. The breakfast costs a fortune if you want it. The people waiting at the front cannot be bothered to help with anything. One didn't know what a wake up call is! The guy sat in his chair and answered questions from the other room. The weight room is literally missing all its dumbells but one 50lb dumbell.

Heater was unbelievably loud and cranked up to 80 on its own in the middle of the night. No dark curtains on the windows let the building outdoor lights keep the room super bright all night. 🙄

The restaurant on site has a lot of potential. The gentleman who ran the breakfast was doing an amazing job by himself. He was very attentive. We really liked the food. The cold weather really did a job on the pipes and it took forever for the water to get hot. I just didn’t have the patience. Fortunately, my companion did. She enjoyed a hot shower. The king size bed was excellent and overall the room was very comfortable.

First rooms had no hot water and one of the showers wasn't draining correctly. On the hallway on the way out of the hotel there was dog poop on the floor, limited dining menu in the adjacent restaurant and overly priced and longer waits even when the restaurant was empty.

The good: staff was nice and beds were comfortable. Price was definitely competitive The bad: website said restaurant with breakfast and it was closed which was inconvenient for 6 skiers. Weirdly decorated —felt like a jail.

CALL HOTEL BEFORE BOOKING
Not as advertised 11/23. Front reception area being done and entire hotel reaked of lacquer. Bar not open. Restaurant not open. Stairwell doors and windows open all night long. Blood stain on comforter on bed and bathroom very tired and needs updating. Half the drawers in the room do not stay closed and mini fridge very loud. Friendly staff but would not have booked here knowing the condition of the hotel and its projects. Affordable price but you get what you pay for in Summit County.
