Petit bout de paradis sur cette planète. séjour confortable ,haut de gamme. La piscine et la plage sont très agréables ( vous avez des serveurs à votre disposition ) et la chambres spacieuse avec petite piscine perso , et la douche vraiment opérationnelle. Le Bay Beach est THE PLACE TO BE .Bonne ambiance, bravo aux serveurs , serveuses , barmaids ,qui savent prendre soin de vous . Le personnel y est très gentil et serviable surtout les garçons.En effet j'ai trouvé les femmes un peu agressives, oubliant certaines fois ma commande.Mais elles ne sont pas toutes comme ça. Un cadre très sympa

Nous sommes enchantés par notre séjour.l Le personnel,que ce soit celui qui vient nous chercher en voiture privée à l'aréoport,ou les personnes qui nous accueillent à la réception. Les personnes du bar et de la restauration sont très professionnelles, discrètes et charmantes. Le professeur de salsa est très patient dans l'apprentissage des pas et talentueux. L'organisation de l'hotel pour les excursions est parfaite, Nous avons découvert le " all inclusive", c'est une bonne formule!

Food was out of this world, it was buffet for all meals. Some of the restaurants like Jacks and the Italian restaurant was closed. but the bay restaurant made up for it.

Beautiful hotel but very poor service!
Unfortunately, during our time at Buccament the majority of staff was on strike. However, the few that were there did an amazing job doing everything. The food was a big disappointment and 2 of their resteraunts a were not open, the steakhouse and the cafe. Therefore, every meal was eaten at the beach club. For a five-star, all inclusive resort, this was truly a disappointment and I will not return nor recommend this resort to anyone until all of the management issues have been resolved.

Very disappointing. Advertised as a 5 star. I'm sure it was when it was built. There are so many problems that need to be addressed. We were never sure where we were going to be eating dinner. Had to check each afternoon because only one or two of the restaurants were open. Breakfast and lunch were the same buffet with limited lukewarm choices every day. The bar closed 2 evenings when we were there at 6:00 p.m. leaving nothing for guests to do. No entertainment. Very dark, needs more lighting at night. No activities at the hotel. Beach towels never available, ended up keeping ours for the time we were there just to make sure we had one. One of the pools was closed for 5 days because it was green. On an upbeat note, the staff, when they were there, because they were striking, were very friendly, and went out of their way to help. Unfortunately for the wonderful people of St. Vincent, I can't imagine the resort functioning and receiving guests for much longer unless something is done.

Well-kept facility
We booked this place for our anniversary based on the positive reviews we got from friends and family who stayed here before. We heard about the great steaks at Jack's steakhouse which increased our anticipation and the dessert and ice cream palour. When we got there and attempted to make a reservation for the steakhouse we were told due to a flood the country suffered back in 2013 the restaurant was closed to facilitate repairs. After hearing the disappointing news we attempted to reserve at the Italian restaurant but was told that was also closed at the moment but should be opening soon. Fast forward, we had to eat dinner at the main restaurant which was okay. The second night we got the option to dine at safran restaurant where had a pleasant experience. Amid the dessert and ice cream palour remains closed and the staff seemed very surprised when we enquired. The staff seemed demotivated execute their duties with little or no enthusiasm. The guy that does the BBQ works hard and should be given a break in between. Orenzo at the front desk was also very welcoming and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. The facility was well-kept, housekeeping came daily, items in the mini refrigerator was replenished often. We enjoyed the plunge pool, the beach and the villa itself. I am not sure if I would revisit this place again or maybe until the what seems to be financial issues have been sorted out.

Beautiful Resort but Major Problems
The resort is absolutely beautiful but having financial difficulties. The restaurants were often not open leaving the buffet to handle all the guests. The explanation from the manager was that the Staff did not show up to work. Upon further questioning, the staff said they hadn't been paid since September. The ones that were sticking around were hoping for a take over so they still had job. The pool was going green and the general maintenance was falling apart. It's too bad because as I mentioned the resort was beautiful.

Beautiful Resort with Mountain and Beach views
This is a beautiful resort with spectacular views of the lush St. Vincent foliage. Some of the best food we've ever eaten in the Caribbean. The beachfront villa we had was very spacious, clean and well laid out. Our villa was the only private 2 bedroom beachfront, with a private plunge pool. It was on the main path of the wait staff, so there was no running dry while being in your private pool on the beach. All in all the resort was just fantastic and a real hidden Caribbean gem! Now the bad.... After arriving we find out that Harlequin is going into receivership. We did notice and had some minor issues during our stay. We did have to make adjustments on a few occasions. However, the issues we had were not staff related and it was out of there control. Buccament Bay Resort has some of the best staff we have ever come across during our many years of travel. At the end of the day with all the hiccups, we had a fantastic trip and loved the resort.

My 2nd Experience did not match my 1st Experience
This was my second time visiting Buccament Bay. I went there in January 2016, and I enjoyed it soooo much, that I recommended it to a number of my friends and also decided to visit it another time myself . I must say I was disappointed. The quality of the product being offered declined significantly from January to November 2016. There was a decrease in the variety of drinks and the quantity and variety of food. My expectations based on my previous experience was not met. Despite the disappointment, I still enjoyed myself, but compared to the first time the change was noticeable.

Loved the place, loved the people, loved the food
The hotel is about 30-45 minutes from the airport. The drive is scenic but the entrance to the hotel is a bit scary. It's a busy place for locals including fishermen. It almost feels like a back entrance but it's not. The reception was lovely and we were upgraded to a Deluxe Garden View Villa (from Elaenia Suite) for free. We were 'driven' to the villa on a small golf cart. The room was super luxurious and very clean. We enjoyed a private plunge pool. The bathroom was spa-like. The shower area contained a rain shower with jets and loose pebble floor topped with a wooden crate for draining. The room also contained a Lavazza espresso machine (and lavazza coffee pods) of which we made full use. You're provided with milk, shandy, pepsi, sprite and bottled water in the fridge - replenished frequently. The resort is beautiful during the day. The place could do with better lighting at nights. The service was great throughout. The food was great and when the coffee house was open, their offerings were superb. The one downside we found was that restaurants closed sporadically, even with reservations. HQ (the coffee house and one place to get snacks outside of meal times) was closed for a full day without prior notice / alternative arrangements. The kitchen at The Bay (the only other place apart from HQ to get a snack) was also closed without notice on that same day. Guests were left without meal/snack options for a window between lunch and dinner that day.

Relaxing weekend getaway!
The resort was beautiful and relaxing. The villa was ultra comfortable with king size bed snd your own plunge pool outside the patio doors. Bathroom was impressive with super rain showers. WiFi and AC up to par. Will definitely visit again.

Nice hotel but had a lot of issues
Hotel is lovey, rooms are clean and modern but hotel didn't live up to the all inclusive standards as a lot of items were out of stock and not available. Staff weren't accommodating. The wait for a cart to get around is very long and hotel seem to be running on a day to day basis as items were being stocked at the bar only when and while there as beers were most time hot. However I will visit again maybe when their issues are sorted out as there is a lot of potential at the hotel

My overall stay at Buccament Bay was disappointing because of some of its staff.The overall friendliness of its staff was lacking, not what you would expect at a Caribbean Resort. The physical appearance of the hotel is great but the service from its staff needs great improvement. The servers at the Bay Restaurant (main restaurant and bar at the hotel) was terrible, at times I felt as thought they were paying me to be at the hotel and not the other way around. I really don't like to go down this road but I think it must be said, there was a very noticeable difference in service being given to foreign guests versus what was given to locals (myself and friends being from the Caribbean), e.g. one night we ordered and couple glasses of wine and was given it in scotch glasses, of which we made no issue probably they were out of wine glasses at the time but 30 seconds later a foreign came and sat next to us and order the same wine and got it in long stemmed wine glasses, this was extremely disappointing. Mention must be made of Shenelle at Jack's Steak House she was our server one night for dinner and she was excellent, all of their staff should aim to be more like Shenelle. The hotel has potential to be a great low cost All Inclusive Resort but more attention definitely needs to be paid to their staff.

Worst birthday vacation due to Hotel Negligence
A party of 6 of us went to this resort to celebrate my mom's 60th bday. From check in to the actual hotel stay, everything was fine. Until on my mom's birthday night, before we went to dinner, she came to meet us at our villa, when she tripped over a BLACK hose that was LAYING ACROSS the Walkway for no reason as it was not being used in the DARK WALKWAY. She got a busted lip inside and out, a busted nose and a swollen leg. We immediately reported it to front desk and requested a medic. Long story short, she received medical attention the following day 16 hours after, where she had to go outside of the premises taking away further from out vacation, and the resort saw it fit to send security to receive statements about the incident from her before actually being attended to medically. The resort showed negligence firstly as there is no lighting on the walkway to the villa, there was a black hose laying across the walkway in the dark and it was no being used. This is definitely a safety violation as I'm sure hotels must be governed by some sort of health and safety rules. The resort showed no remorse as the hose was still there the following day til we removed it ourselves, then a few hours later, it was there again. They showed no concern as we finally got to the doctor 16 hours after and this was only because we kept requesting it! The hotel is great but the negligence, the lack of concern and lack of decorum that the administrating staff appalling!

Buccament Bay is an excellent hotel , breakfast , lunch and dinner are top of the line , very wide selection and many vegetarian options for any vegans The facilities are nice, rooms are very clean, the small bay towards the breakfast side needs to be cleaned , because there are a lot of rubbish thrown on that side of the hotel , the main beach is very clean and nice We booked to go from Thursday to Thursday 2nd October 2016 ,the airline canceled there flight on Thursday and we were given a flight the Friday night at 9:30pm , all tjis information was given to thw hotel,the flight was also delayed and we arrived St.vincent around 12pm , so we checked into the hotel around 1am, we missed two full days at the hotel, This part is definetly not the fault of the hotel but we asked the hotel since we missed two days and Liat airline's was willing to give us an extra day till the monday , would they be able to at least give us the extra day , or give us all a discount on the rooms or even put us in a room that accomdates 4-8 people, so we werent expecting anything from the hotel , but due to the circumstances i tjink they should have considered because it was a group of 8 people, and a extra day was not going to cost them anything extra because we missed two full days, because we were willing to pay but they still wanted to charge us all full price....but overall the experience was good , the staff are not very friendly but are willing to help.....but the island is very nice

Stayed here for a few days while visiting family. Pros-beautiful clean spacious room, great food ala cart restaurant service is slow but best I've had at any resort chain, quite resort great for an older crowd. Cons-staff could be more friendly, lots of flies/mosquitos around due to still water throughout resort, liquor is not served until late morning, everything closes on the resort around 10pm so if you get hungry you're out of luck, they frequently ran out of towels at the pools, rarely any sport activities played at the pool, there wasn't any nightly entertainment the nights I stayed.

Top Chill Location, Good Food and Wonderful Staff
This resort is surely a gem in St. Vincent. I must commend the Reservations Manager on her wonderful service extended to me and my family. With people like her on board, this resort that has so much more potential will blossom into possibly the best vacation spot in the Caribbean. And if the entire resort team has this as their objective when going to work, greatness has already began. For me personally, the staff contributed to making my stay enjoyable. I always approached them with kindness and humility and in return, they related back to me in this same manner. I got a nice warm welcome which was key in starting my vacation and I felt as if the staff was more interested in my happiness and wellbeing which is what we call wonderful customer service. Thank you Team Buccament :)

The resort is good overall. That there were some glitches and negatIves we had to put up with. Some of the wait staff needs proper training on how to interact with Guests. Some of the Waitresses don't smile, and even act like you should be happy that they paid you any attention. Too many of theit staff can be seen hanging out doing nothing or sitting down people watching. It takes a long time to get served st dinner time. They had power outage twice! The snorkeling and good food made up for a lot.

Family Vacation
We had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us some good advice on how to get to Bequia. A must do trip! Snorkels and life jacks are free to borrow. Lots of options for food. HQ is definitely an excellent snaking/coffee stop! The resort is very pretty and well maintained. Be sure to walk with mosquito repellant and wear light clothing as most places aren't air conditioned (the bedroom is thankfully).

Great resort on the beach.
This resort is absolutely beautiful..the lay out of the villa's with the private pools. Every meal I ate there was so tasty and wonderful..Jacks steak house is really an excellent dining restaurant. The staff members at the reception go out of their way to assist with making the guests as comfortable as possible. Thank you to Florence for her wonderful hospitality. I enjoyed the evening entertainment and ambiance of this resort. It is totally worth every cent..I would totally recommend this place to anyone...its accommodative for couples and families..I had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit there again...

Hotel with lots of potential
We stayed at this resort August 9-14th. The resort has lots of potential, but until it's issues are resolved, I cannot give it more that a three star review. The grounds are beautiful, and we were upgraded to a one bedroom villa with our own plunge pool, which was very nice. The villa was beautiful and clean, however, in reality only the bedroom was usable because there is no air conditioning in the living room area, and it was HOT. Even with air conditioning, the bedroom never cooled to my liking. The bathroom is amazing and well appointed, with a rainfall shower. There is a small mini-bar with just a few waters and sodas. We frequently had to repeatedly ask for the mini-bar to be restocked with water, and it took up to a day to get more water. The food at the restaurants was excellent, BUT the restaurants frequently RAN OUT OF FOOD. One night we had to order three different things because the first two on the menu they didn't have. This goes for drinks as well...running out of beer at an all inclusive resort??? Unacceptable. Also ran out of several types of liquor and ran out of ice cream and snacks at HQ (the snack/dessert/coffeee house). It seems that management is lacking with lots of rumors swirling and noone really knowing who is running the resort at the moment. Staff said they haven't been paid in months. Some staff were exceptional, but many seemed unhappy (which I would be as well if I wasn't being paid).

Nice hotel but...
Hotel was great but neighbourhood was run down. The hotel guest services were not helpful. When we checked in we were told that there will be an orientation the next day. There was none. In addition we lost an opportunity to go on one of the few activities offered. Taxi fares were exorbitent and staff did not have any advice / help for booking any activities other than the restricted few offered. There are only a few days some of the restaurants open and the food from the italian restuarant was overcooked and salty. The Wifi signal drops frequently throughout the facility.The hotel if self was well maintained and clean.

Awesome!!
I had a fantastic time at the resort. The staff was always very friendly and polite. I would like to thank Curt who not only made the best fruit smoothies, he even went out of his way to get us fresh mangoes as it was not available at the resort. Junior at Jack's restaurant was also very friendly. The housekeeping staff decorated the bed as my boyfriend was celebrating his birthday which I thought was very thoughtful of them. My one complaint is the excessive flies which can be addressed by the hotel by installing fly lights at the Bay restaurant. All in all the hotel was great and I fully enjoyed my stay there.

Amazing hotel with great snorkelling!
The hotel was overall great. Especially with those that have an eye for snorkelling. Was one of the nicest reefs we ever saw and its right by the hotel! Staff were friendly, room was super comfortable and the surroundings were perfect. Will definitely visit again!

Julienne at reception made our stay exceptional from the minute we got there until we left! And so too did our friends who arrived the next day.What an incredible member of staff! ALL the staff at this resort are super friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a great villa with a pool on the deck which was clean and had no mosquitoes. The Bay is great for breakfast, mostly continental and the lunch menu has a great array to choose from.The food from the grill is very tasty. We were there for Mother's Day as well and the food was so great, got food that wasn't on the a la carte menu!! We didn't like the food at the Italian restaurant but this could just be our selection. Saffron has a limited menu but it tasted great. Recommending paneer be added and some more options. Two of my friends birthdays were being celebrated and it was a memorable experience thnx to Julienne and the staff at Saffron. Jacks food is superb!! The best of all!! The resort is well maintained, picturesque and extremely clean. Food is served in a timely manner. Laura at HQ Cafe was so warm and friendly. Well stocked cafe, the pastries were ok not that fab, the sandwiches were great though and ice cream was always available. We got shuttled to and from our room which was a bit distant from everything. The night entertainment was poorly attended and finished early but great! Danced and sang. The beach is calm and lovely. Pools were clean. Overall we got treated like royalty! Thank u!Thank u! Thank u!

Nice hotel on the beach; great food
Great experience. They have really good food (make sure you try their slow cooked braised beef rib). The Safran restaurant is also excellent (ask for Sam if you're not sure about anything there). Jack's restaurant is a must go. The hotel is on their beautiful beach. The people of St Vincent truly understand tourism. Met and made some unexpected friends at the hotel.

Lovely hotel by a very nice beach, also good pools
Unfortunately this hotel seems to be in trouble, with rumours of the staff not being paid, this led to them not being at their best. Food was disappointing apart from the Indian restaurant and one night's buffet with lamb curry and mahi mahi grill. If they can solve these problems, the hotel can once agaan be the lovely resort it should be.

Great get away
We had a great time, staff were friendly and very efficient. Only slight down side was the mosquitos however we asked for our room to be sprayed and they came within minutes to spray. All in all a great hotel, amazing views and very comfy sun beds.

Come to St Vincent and meet the friendly Locals
Stayed on the second floor, in a. one bedroom suite. Good views of surrounding area and sea. Lovely island, albeit not so built up as some others, but that is part of the advantage of going there. LIAT air were OK from Barbados, with the connecting flight preventing bulk tourists/holidaymakers going to St Vincent.

Mosquito-Hölle!!!
Ich wäre am liebsten nach der ersten halben Stunde wieder gefahren. Vor der Tür des Hotels, das als Normalpreis 400€ / Nacht angibt die ärmlichen Häuser der Einheimischen. Für mich ein zu krasser Kontrast. Als ich mein Zimmer betreten wollte, kam mir ein Kammerjäger mit Atemmaske entgegen und sagte, ich müsste noch 40 Minuten warten bis ich wieder ins Zimmer kann. Ich kam nach 2 Stunden zurück und sah hunderte Moskitos auf Boden und Bett liegen. Daraufhin bin ich zur Bar um mir ein Bier auf den Schreck zu gönnen... aus Plastikbechern! Beim Rundgang durch die Anlage wurde dann auch klar, warum hier die Moskitos ein Paradies haben: Ein angelegter Teich mitten in einer Anlage, in der durch die Kessellage keine Briese weht. Wer auf diese Idee gekommen ist, kann nicht aus der Karibik stammen oder er kann Touristen einfach nicht leiden. Der Service war ok, aber nicht dem Preis angemessen. Ich war vorher in einem anderen Hotel zu einem Viertel des Normalpreises und der Service war um Längen besser. Seit 10 Jahren bin ich in der Karibik unterwegs und dieses Hotel (angeblich 5*) war eins der Schlechtesten vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich bin am nächsten Tag abgereist, obwohl ich für 2 Nächte gebucht hatte.

There were too much mosquitoes I had to request the room to be sprayed .The food was good except that for breakfast an lunch they had the same menu everyday.Rooms were clean and comfortable.Staff was pleasant but seemed overworked. Overall the resort was very beautiful and I would return again

Spring Break
The resort was quite beautiful. We were informed upon arrival the electricity was out which was something different than typical check in. When taken to our villa (which is huge, bigger than most apts in NYC) we were so excited. As we explored the back yard we discovered we had a personal pool as well. There was tons of space in the living room which was also paired with an espresso machine and a fridge. The bed room and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. Unfortunately we did not have a phone in our room which made it difficult to coordinate room service and reach to the front desk for other requests. Our villa did not have a full length mirror which made dressing awkward. Now the food, all the restaurants offered a range of food that was tasty. You will be asked to make reservations to the restaurants upon your arrival. I did think it was strange you needed a reservation to go to the only buffet style restaurant. The beach and pool were beautiful and super accessible. There were no issues getting a beach chair.

Beautiful Resort A Wonderful Holiday
My family of 4 and a toddler visited Buccament in middle of April. Booked 2 bedroom Garden Villa with plunge pool. We’re greeted with a cold drink. There was an US150.00 deposit on hold for incidental but on check out was returned. The villa was lovely with working AC in bedroom, clean, a lovely big bathroom with separate shower, big bedroom and walk in wardrobe, separate lounge/dining room with coffee machine and drinks. Our plunge pool was not on and told us they would do so. However the next day it was not turn on so we reminded them to do so only to learn that ours was not working. Inform front desk of the problem an request a villa with a working plunge pool. By the evening of the same day we were informed one was available. They gave us an upgrade 2 bedroom villa no additional cost. Just as beautiful as the other but the entire villa was AC. Thanks Alaska for your quick assistance. -pool was lovely none was green very clean and inviting -mosquitos yes some resort supplied us with mosquito coils. -Food excellent. Yes a bit of a wait for dinner but definitely not 1hr. As all places everything is not perfect but everything you need is there and some very willing staff to help. The vacation is what you make of it. Resort was 80% full when we were there.

Resort was breathe taking, the owners did a great job putting together this place, 4 different restaurants to eat in, excellent food, lovely atmosphere, it was like you lived in a village but more classy, the service of most staff members made this experience bad, and for that I may not return since I've already seen the beauty of this resort, I did not feel welcome, keep in mind I said MOST staff members but some were nice

Excellent hotel,only thing stressful was the need to make dinner reservations early. There should be some type of walk in arrangements,especially if one only needs something simple.
