We have stayed at this property multiple times over the last 10 years & each time is just a bit less pleasurable. There has been a noticeable decline during each stay but I think this will be the last for us. The room we stayed at during this trip was supposed to be a “Pure” room. We noticed as soon as we checked in that our air purifier did not work. After further investigation, we found a whole wall of plug ins didn’t work. That left us with one over head light & one desk light for the entire room. We immediately notified the front desk & she said maintenance would check while we were out for the evening. When we returned, no repairs & we were left with just one working plug in to accommodate gadget charging needs for 3 people. There was a special filter on the shower that left us with dismal water pressure as well as a loud screaming sound emitting from the blockage of pressure at the filter. Wallpaper was peeling all around the room & it looked like the wooden doors were splitting from constant humidity/stagnant air. The beds were clean & comfortable, we felt safe in our room & surrounding areas. We also enjoyed the indoor pool & coffee shop. We came down for breakfast at 9:35 to a sparse buffet offering. Empty pastry section & rock hard biscuits with cold gravy. Good bacon & fresh fruit. Toaster, butter, PB&J but no bread. When I inquired about bread, I was told buffet closes at 10 so they wouldn’t be restocking. So sad to see the decline of a once great hotel.

Nice and quiet in central location. Blackout drapes were definitely BLACKOUT. Which is nice for people who travel for work and work nights. I definitely recommend and would return for the right price.

Reserved 2 rooms both had stained carpet and needs updated. One of the rooms was so bad we had to ask for a new one. It had what looked like a couple of blood stains on the carpet coming out of the bathroom was just really dirty. Staff was friendly. Was a little loud but not the hotel's fault. There was a baseball tournment and the kids just were not being supervised.

This property is older, the lobby are has been nicely upgraded but not really the rooms. Everything was clean and beds/pillows were comfy. The lobby area, because of building design, can be kinda looud.

Was super close to a concert venue at the Gillioz theatre. Safe and close walking distance. Really only bad things were that there was not a working ice maker on the 2nd floor. And, i dont know if all rooms were set up the same, but the shower was set up for someone handicapped. Wich is great. Except, the shower head was set up about chest high. So, you had to hold the shower head, wich completely came off while trying to use it. Nice thought, but impracticable with the stiff line that comes from the water source. Will come off again on the next person. A line that is softer would probably keep the shower head from unscrewing. All that said, i would definitely use your facility again.

Our room was not ready for check in when we arrived. They called us around 6 PM to let us know it was ready. Rooms were pretty clean but very dated. Restaurant was almost self serve. Only 1person waiting on tables and he was also the bartender. Tables were not cleaned and wiped off from prior guests. Food was very average at that. Waited 30 minutes or more for refill of tea and lemonade. Had to ask for silverware. Other guest just got their own. Staff we dealt with was not all that friendly. Coffee shop staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend eating in coffee shop not restaurant. Feel a few changes need to be made.

Rented three rooms, all three rooms on the same hall just doors apart. One room was very nice, the other two were just OK. Coffee makers in the bathroom. And one bathtub would not drain. I guess you never know what room you’re gonna get

Everything was great except the heat in our room did not work. We were in room 423. The only reason we didn’t contact the front desk was because it was so late at night when we got back from the concert, we were tired and it never warmed up in the room. Also we knew the hotel was incredibly full.

This hotel is one of the best in downtown Springfield. It’s due for some updates but always a nice place to stay! Staff is friendly and helpful and location is ideal for business and events.
