Where to start - The hot tub was hot, and the room AC worked. Those are the only positives we had. The staff were rude and didn’t care at all! We arrived on a Friday and were notified the hotel would be shutting down on Sunday. The elevators and ice machines were broken; the floors were really dirty; our fire alarm was disconnected; WiFi was down toilet wasn’t secured to the floor; water went from scalding hot to freezing cold periodically; no coffee or juices during breakfast, which is a loose term for the boxed cereal (with no milk!), and mini-muffins provided. The absolute worst part was on the day we were to check out, the door locks were disabled - Meaning we couldn’t get anywhere with our room keys: We had to have staff use their master keys to open the doors from the outside, as well as our room door. Good luck with any reservation in the future, but staff had terrible things to say about the property owner, as well, so I would absolutely encourage anyone to NEVER stay at this hotel.

This place is nothing like the pictures we did not have towels the phone did not work the lamps was broken bad place in town pictures look like nothing it shows so dissatisfied dog barking all night where you could not sleep pool and hot tub close nothing what we was expecting at all !!’

The room looked like it had not been cleaned at all, there were bugs all over the floor. I did not feel safe, checked right back out and found a different hotel.

Horrible, the room was not cleaned, the door didn’t lock, our shampoos and soap was thrown on the bathroom floor, the toilet didn’t flush, the rooms phone didn’t work, will not stay ever again!

The staff were very friendly. The building is pretty old and run down when you get to the area with the rooms. The room was very nice and comfortable but I had cockroaches in my room. Definitely not worth 80 bucks.

Absolutely DISGUSTING. Floors were filthy. Lots of someones hair in the floor and bathtub. Hairs on towels. Smells of weed.

We do have a regular spraying routine that we strictly adhere to , however I will have this issue checked out completely. We will be addressing the beds with housekeeping. The phone in the room didn't work, and the whole property was a bit run-down. The pool was decent, clean and unfortunately I wasn't able to take advantage of that particular amenity. However, the beds were soft and lumpy, making sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Parking was easy, close enough to the room to be convenient, but that was one of the few bright spots. I doubt I'll be staying there again, especially since there are nicer hotels surrounding he property that are comparable in price, but are newer and not run-down like the Lamplighter North. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. unfortunately the night you checked in the town did experience a strong storm the completely knocked out power to large parts of town. We where lucky and only lost power for a minute. However that did cause some issues including the phones and internet. When our tech got to us he spent over an hour to get thigs working again. The desk staff is trained on the basic fixed for the internet and phone system and the storm cause problems above our heads. We are sorry about any inconvenience caused from issues from the storm. It was a very frustrating day for us too. We do hope that you will give us another, hopefully storm free, chance to provide you with a better experience.

The hotel rooms are horrible, old and they have extension cords running everywhere. The bathroom door had a big crack in it, the lamp they had the bulb was just hanging. The hair dryer didn’t work.. 0/10. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the money!

Property was nice, and it was a nice start. Until 1am, we were woken up to someone trying to open our door. Then, as we lay back down, get a knock at the door. An employee telling us our room is showing unoccupied. After figuring out, the girl that checked us in, put us in the wrong room in the system, and having to get my key fixed, all was taken care off. Check out was easy.

Pool and hot tub are actually open and available for use every day. So many hotels advertise a pool and hot tub but when you arrive they are closed for maintenance or repair or some other garbage.

We have stayed here many times but found the hotel lacking this time. No one answered phone when i called to make reservations so had to use a third party. Our bed was so uncomfortable. We were across the hall from the outside units that allows pets and listened to a dog barking for hours. The towels were so thin. So disappointed that we won't be back. Couldn't even find anyone at the desk to check out. Sign said they were in the breakfast area - no one there either.

We are sorry about the pet making noise during your stay and do understand that pets can get upset when staying in an unfamiliar location but do still expect the owner to keep them relatively quiet. If you informed the desk about the troubles they should have contacted the guest and aske to keep the dog quiet. I am not sure, if they where informed, why they did not.

Lamplighter has definitely gone down hill. Hallways were dirty, looked like the carpet needed to be shampooed. Also the same for the room. Bedding was clean. Floors, desk chair, air conditioner, coffee maker, base boards were full of dust. Only saw the front desk help which were friendly. We did not eat there so can't rate the food.
